My favorite breech!
I love how this breech fits. The fabric is more of a technical type fabric that's pretty form fitting and shows the outline of the pockets but that doesn't really bother me. They're super easy to keep clean. The only thing I haven't been able to just brush off has been horse snot, I can even brush off mud. It's amazing! They've been really comfortable in the saddle as well. The fabric felt slick when I first put them on and I worried they might be slippery in the saddle but I haven't had any issues. They're my new favorite breech and I plan to start collecting more colors!

Back pocket that fits an iPhone 6!
I decided to try these as show breeches when I could not find my old favorite. Glad I did. They are comfortable, fit well and best of all, have a back pocket that I can put my phone in. I like them so much I bought 2 more pairs!

Comfy and Supportive
These are great breeches. They are very comfortable and have the right compression for me. I like the wider waistband too. I'm not sure I love the color Dark Spruce. It's kind of a smokey grayish green but I was looking for something other than black to hide the dirt/dust somewhat. I'm also not a fan of the Hadley logo on both knee patches, but I think it will fade a little with natural wear/use. Otherwise excellent all around..

Not what I was hoping for
These pants are super soft, beautiful breeches. Unfortunately the long was still short so I don't recommend for any tall riders. The pockets in the back are also super long so they get bunched up. I really wanted to love these pants because of the fabric and knee patch but I couldn't because of the fit.

New favorite breeches!
I ordered a pair of the Hadley's and Piper's and the Hadley's were a much better fit for me. The headless are a more fitted fabric and have a more fitted waist compared to the Piper's. The Piper's are very comfortable and made very well but as someone with a smaller waist and more petite body, the Hadley's are a much better fit! The Piper's are a more stretchy fabric and have a little bigger of a fit compared to Hadley which is great but just did not fit my body quite like the Hadley does! The Hadley will definitely be my new go to breech.

Finally!!
Finally a great professional looking school breech at a great price! My daughter is 14 and style matters, this breech hits all the important style and functional requirements and according to her she would rather wear these than even her comfiest sweat pant! The Hadley breeches are the only ones that don’t come off as soon as she gets home. They are wearing well, fit amazing , and I can justify spending $100 instead of $189 for schooling breeches. So Smartpak PLEASE bring on the colors!

Best Breeches!!
Love love love these breeches! The fabric is lighter and will be great for summer. Very flattering, the fit is much better for me than the pipers. Love that there are back pockets for my phone. I have people ask about them and I recommend them all the time. I cannot say enough good things about these breeches. Only problem is that they only have a limited number of the larger sizes and are therefore sold out. I would love to purchase some additional colors but they keep backing the date out for availability : (

Love the fabric, not as flattering as the Piper
I bought these on a whim (free shipping both ways, why not?) because I love the look of the contrasting knee patch. The fabric is light and has a nice, rich, technical look & feel; I think they'll be great for schooling at horse shows in warm weather. The only thing I don't like is that they just aren't quite as flattering as the Piper breeches or the Tailored Sportsmans. I haven't ridden in them because it's too cold so I can't comment on durability but they feel comfortable around the house.

Nice breeches, but not Tailoreds...
I wanted to love these breeches for the price point, but I only like them. Tailored Sportsman remain my favorites. Many reviewers compared these to Tailored Sportsman trophy hunters, and while these are nice breeches they aren’t like for like. I’m a 36 in TS, and I ordered size 38 in the Hadley. The fit in the hips and thighs is comparable to my mid-rise TS, but the rise is higher and more nipped in at the waist. The fabric is a little thicker with a more nylon feel, which felt slippery in the saddle the first ride or two. After a few washes the slipperiness seems to have worn off. The fit and fabric are totally different from the Piper line, which was a plus for me-those don’t fit me well.
I do find them comfortable, and I like the French blue color. The tan patch is very on trend right now, however the patches on mine are almost white they’re so light which I don’t love.

New favorite schooling breeches!
I love the fabric and fit of these Breeches! Very comfortable and they really do repel dirt. I also like that they are mid rise rather than low because my shirt stays tucked in. My only suggestion is that you consider adding a side zip option on the knee patch breeches. Nice product at a good price!

Gorgeous new color
I've already written one review, but I wanted to update on the new Azure color. These breeches are just too perfect. I live in Florida and love to wear bright colors. I got multiple compliments, at the barn and in town, wearing them today for the first time. The contrast knee patches are really fun, and I love the fabric of these pants. I've been riding in the tan pair since the summer, and they are holding up really well. Hadleys are my new favorite breeches for schooling or local shows. Please add hunter or burgundy for fall/winter riding!

Great breeches!
These breeches are great. They were flattering and dare I say it, um, smoothing? They're comfy and stretchy. I ordered a size down then what I may have normally done and they were snug at first but they stretched out enough while riding but not to the point where i had a saggy butt. I ordered the charcoal color with the tan patch. I can't compare to the tailored sportsmans because I haven't bought any in years but I bought a pair of rj classics breeches and those are great too but I think I may like these better. I wish there were more colors!!!

I like the material of these breeches and the design except for the fit of the seat. I'm average height and build; they fit everywhere except for the seat which is loose and bags out, and I'm constantly tugging them up. They're ok when riding so I'll wear them but they won't be my favorite go to breeches.

Love these!
I decided to try these breeches for the show ring as several of my favorite ariats and TS have needed to be retired. They are incredibly comfortable, true to size and are flattering and classic looking in the saddle. They do have a seam down the back which did not bother me, but some hunters may not like. Can’t wait to get more pairs!

Bought these a few weeks ago instead of another pair of TS. Im so happy I did. I love the fabric, doesn't hold dirt, doesn't show every lump and bump. Rise is perfect. Will be buying in navy. Hope you make them in more colors.

Best Breeches I've Owned, Bar None!
I purchased these a few weeks ago, and was drawn to the description and mid rise. They looked like they might be show quality as well as comfortable and are affordable. I read the reviews beforehand. I can honestly say these are my favorite breeches I have ever owned! I love them more than my Tailored Sportsman breeches, my schooling breeches, and assorted others I've tried over the years. The fit is perfect, I'd heard you have to size up but I didn't need to. The 24L is the same as any 24L in my experience. They are comfortable, extremely flattering, not too thick, not too thin. They are not baggy anywhere nor are they exceedingly tight. It's as if they were custom designed for me. I now don't want to wear my other breeches and my only complaint is that we need them in more colors. I'm prepared to clear out my closet to stock it with only the Hadleys! Finally, a reasonable, show quality, well fitting, washable, stain resistant breathable breech exists, suitable for ALL purposes. The quality is top notch. I love the fabric. Thank you Smart Pak. Please continue and add to this line!

Great looking and well made, doesn't fit me
First: if you like the fits of Pipers, especially the high waisted version, you'll love these. They're a really high quality version of Pipers, and the grey color is beautiful.
However, if, like me, you find Pipers (even the higher waist version) to fit WAY too low on the waist, these will be the same. They gap terribly when I'm in riding position. If they came in a truly high waist version designed for those of us with small waists and larger hips, it would be a slam dunk.

Love these new Hadley breeches, great fit amazing material very similar to TS. Big roomy zippered pockets in the back that fit oversized phones . Great flattering fit and very comfortable. Can’t wait until they come out with more colors, I have the charcoal tan patch and hoping for a dark green coming up!

These are easily the best-fitting breeches I've ever worn! I have a small natural waist and pants usually gap in the waist, but not these they fit all the way through and are structured but stretchy which makes them incredibly comfortable to ride in!

LOVE them!
Having been through several iterations of SP breeches, these are my favorite! The fabric is similar to but nicer than the old Bradleys, and the fit is much improved over the Pipers--no weird sucking down off my hips/legs while wearing them. I could probably wear these without a belt and they'd be fine. The material is technical and modern and holds you in just a little without feeling like you're being squished.
There are only two things I would improve: MORE COLORS!!, and the front pockets are too small for a phone to really fit in there while riding, and you can't really ride with a phone in those generous back pockets, so some pocket size adjustment would make them the perfect breeches!

Extremely comfortable, love them!
So happy to finally have a show-appropriate tan pair of breeches offered in the full range of sizes!! These are so comfortable and the fabric is neither too thick nor too thin. I liked them so much I came back and ordered the other two colors!!

Fantastic fabric
I just got back into riding after 10 years off, and could not believe the fabric and fit on these breeches. I order a pair of Piper's and a pair of Hadley's. Instantly loved the Hadley's and returned the Piper's. The Hadley's have a great fit for someone with muscular legs and have cleaned up very nicely after long days at the barn.
I am very glad I trusted the reviews and now I have 2 pairs.
