Love them!
I bought these breeches slightly skeptical about them but fell in love with them. They fit perfectly and the material is a lot more forgiving then the pipers! I've only worn them once, but they went through the wash great and the material feels like it will last a while. I am super glad I bought them!

Great fit for a picky rider
I have been struggling to find a good pair of breeches that don't have an outrageous price. I've tried a lot of breeches... On a whim I added these to my cart and they are fantastic. They hit me just where I like a breech to sit(at or slightly above the bellybutton) a little higher in the back, and the sock bottom is great. I love the material the fabric reminds me of Tailored Sportsman breeches. I did order a size larger than I usually wear as I've had to send Pipers back that did not fit well. I'll be ordering another pair soon!

After reading all the great reviews I got a pair in the same size as I wear for pipers. Dissapointed in quality of stitching (wonky on stitching around zipper so is fairly obvious) and does not fit me well. Waist is ok but very stiff and too much material in butt which is really unflattering. Was hoping this was a replacement for the Alexus breech. Sadly, not even close.

Exceptional!
Purchase these about a month ago. Have worn the colored ones around the barn for schooling a number of times. They are very comfortable. But what I'd like the best is the material. Not too thick like the pipers. Not too thin – does not show every line everywhere. I just wore the tan ones to a show. Wore these all day at show– bathing my grey horse, watering horses, picking stalls, A full day. To my amazement, no marks or stains on them. The fabric is amazing! My only wish is that they would come in side zip for my bigger shows.

Love these breeches!
These breeches are fantastic. The quality, fit, and fabric are comparable to the TS Trophy Hunters, but for a much lower price! I wear the same size as I do in Pipers. Love them! Smartpak, please make more colors!!

Smart and easy to care for!
A smart looking pair of breeches - very comfortable in the texas heat, stay clean from start to finish through sweat, dirt and hosing off in the wash rack! The waist on these are a bit less forgiving than the origional piper mid-rise, but the seat and thighs have more give and I prefer these in the saddle. Holding up well after machine washing a few times so far!

Really nice
I bought these breeches when they were offering the free shirt along with them. I am very pleasantly surprised about how nice they are! I love the fabric and the fit. They are not hot at all and always look clean. The back pockets are a very nice and unexpected touch. I can't speak too much on durability yet, but after a few washes, they are holding up very well.

Luxurious and Stylish
I have a huge collection of Piper breeches but the Hadley breech caught my eye! I am so happy I gave them a try! I chose the contrasting knee patch style and I am absolutely love the look. The fit is perfection ( I ordered the same size I wear in Pipers) too.The material is really great for the wash stall as well because any splashes repelled perfectly on this fabric. I would imagine a light rain would be handled beautifully as well. These did cost more that my Pipers but I am enjoying them a lot!

My new favorite breech
I love these breeches! They fit wonderfully, have a fabric that sheds dirt and hay, and can hold up to a long sweaty day of riding and barn chores. I love the back pockets that my phone fits in and can be zipped. Nowbwe just need more color options!

Expensive Breech Feel - Wallet Friendly Price
I bought these breeches a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale purely on a whim (which is totally rare for me because I like to read a million reviews first). What got my eye was that they a) looked really nice, b) sock foot! yay!, and c) the technical fabric sounded very similar to my Tredstep Rosas that I love but have never purchased again because I try to stick to a more modest price when I buy pants (which is why I own mostly Pipers). I usually wear a 24 in the Pipers because they're so stretchy and a 26R in the Tredsteps, so I purchased a 26R.
I was in love with them as soon as I put them on. They totally blew my expectations out of the water. The 26R fits like a glove, is stretchy enough that I can bend and move around freely without feeling trapped or leaving a giant gap in the back, doesn't leave a lot of fabric gathered at my ankles (I'm 5'1" and some change, so short girl problems), and best of all, I don't have to hike them up like I do my Pipers.
These breeches are a bit thicker than the Pipers, but the fabric is entirely different, slick and cool, and so, so soft. They feel very similar to the Romfh Serafinas that I've been ogling. I've lessoned in them twice so far, with a trip through the washer (and dryer, thanks hubby) and they've held up well. They're so stylish and comfortable. I got a lot of compliments at the barn.
I definitely plan on snagging some more in the near future. They'll likely be replacing all of my Pipers. And even my beloved Rosas.

Great breech for the price!
I got a pair of the grey ones when they were on sale to try them out since I've been looking for some more schooling breeches to give my TS Trophy Hunters a break. I think I have found a good option in the Hadleys! I find them in no way similar to my TS- fabric is different, fit is different. TS is just a higher quality, but they are also $100 more. I can't speak to the longevity of the breech yet but here are my initial impressions:
Likes: really nice fabric (when they say its water resistant, it is-water beads up and rolls off) that is not too thin. Its definitely thinner than the TS but still hides bumps/lumps and on a 90 degree+ day was nice and cool. The sock bottom is also nice, although having Velcro bottoms doesn't really bug me. Nicely thought out details, like the back zip pockets, deep front pockets, and fabric covering the metal parts of the button clasp (the lack of that detail is the one thing that drives me nuts about the TS!). Sizing on these felt better than the Pipers. I couldn't do the Pipers bc they gapped weird and gave me saggy butt. I did size up from TS though and the fit was perfect.
Dislikes: the contrast patches are really really light for some reason. Almost cream colored versus tan. Maybe that is what SP was going for though? No idea. Also like another reviewer mentioned, the euroseat stitching sits kind of low on the butt. Wasn't horrible, but also was not the most flattering euroseat I've owned. I got the grey and it is a very blue-ish grey. I was hoping it would look more like the pic because that is a more versatile color. However this is a very small complaint!
Overall, I would definitely recommend at the very least trying these. The price cannot be beat! Here's hoping SP comes out with some more trendy colors soon, like Bordeaux or hunter green!

Smartpak nailed it with the Hadley! No falling down your butt like the Pipers do- the fit is absolutely perfect. The material is lighter than the Piper and water resistant. I wear a forgiving 28 or 30 in TS and Piper and the 30's fit great in the Hadley. I got the navy and the color is very sharp. Do yourself a favor and get a pair!

Perfect for warm weather riding and showing!
I LOVE these pants. I wore them this past weekend at a horse show and was beyond impressed with the quality and wearability. They are thick enough to be flattering, but the fabric can keep up with the sweat and humidity of living in a tropical climate. I really love the beige color and look forward to buying more pairs. They fit TTS (I sized up from the Piper...I usually wear one size down in the knit mid-rise), and the cut is flattering. The lining of the back pockets scrunches up a little, but not much of an issue when in the saddle.

All-Around New Fav!!!
I have never written a review for anything before, but after receiving these today in the mail - just have to!!! Amazing! I am a size 26 in TS and Pipers - 5'5", 135lb and athletically built. I love the new, low rise knit material Pipers but have always struggled with finding the perfect fit in original Pipers due to having a small waist (but muscular thighs! ;) I ordered a 26 in these as well, and they are not only a nice fabric, but a great length and PERFECT waist. I can't wait to order another pair! I think most everyone on here would agree we would love to see some more colors come out soon! Thank you Smartpak!!

They are new favs!
These plenty stretchy, tech-fabricy-feeling breeches are more then I could've imagined. The fit is flattering, "polite" (i.e., doesn't show too much).
I usually wear a size 26/2-4 in jeans/pants & a 26R in the pipers. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs with a longer torso, smaller waist, carry extra weight through hips. My typical complaints in pants fit is a gaping waist. None of that with Hadly! They move well, easy to bend knees to chest. I have Pipers in every color... but these Hadleys will give them a solid run for their money!

Finally.... i found a smartpak breeches i Like
I dont like the regular piper as they are very thick and uncomfortable regardless of how many people rave about them. But these ones are really nice. The breeches are really well made, and the material is thinner and stretchier, which is great riding long hours in the summer time.

Fit like a Glove!
These are already my favorite pair of breeches! The fit is perfect, it feels like they were custom made for me (I ordered the same size that I wear in Pipers). The rise on these is super flattering , and the fabric is definitely high quality, it's soft with plenty of give but not as stretchy/rough as the fabric of the Pipers. I will definitely be buying more pairs if they create them in additional colors *hint hint*

Best breeches!
I received my pair of Hadley's today and I'm in love! The material is thinner and seems like it will be cooler than the Piper knit breeches. The long has a 28" inseam. They are a bit bigger than the Piper knit. The waist band falls just below my belly button. I haven't ridden in them yet but they appear to be durable and are definitely very comfortable! My only complaint is that the ankle is a bit larger than on other styles of breeches. I'll be buying a pair in every color! :)

Beautiful, comfortable, and functional
These might be my favorite breeches that I own! I got them in navy, and the color is beautiful and the breeches themselves look very classy. The rise is perfect, and they don't slide down like Pipers do on me - and I even wore them without a belt. I love that they're cut slightly higher in the back to make it more comfortable when you're sitting in the saddle. The material is lightweight (I found the Pipers to be very thick and hot), stretchy, and very comfortable. I love the technical feel of the fabric. The pockets are great, especially the zip (!!) back pockets that are deep enough to put my phone in while I ride, but don't get in the way of sitting in the saddle at all.
I wear a 28 in all my breeches, and I ordered a 28 in these; I feel that they run a little snug compared to all my other breeches, but not small enough that I was really uncomfortable or would return and size up. All in all, I am absolutely thrilled with these breeches, and would recommend them to anyone! I can't wait for more colors to come out.

Awesome breeches!
These are my favorite of the SP breeches yet. The fabric reminds me of the Romfh Sarafina breeches. I ordered the same size as I have in TS, Sarafina, and Pipers. They fit beautifully. My only complaint is that the butt pockets are really long and scrunched weirdly in that area. I just cut them and sewed them shut to create a false pocket. Problem solved and the price is so reasonable I'll be ordering many more pairs!

These are really nice breeches! The fabric is light and stretchy. I'm a curvy 5"3" 127lbs and a 26R fits great! I would love to see these in more colors, especially with the contrast knee patch.

I've bought nearly every breech that SP has produced. These are darn good. I have very sensitive skin, and I find the pipers to be too scratchy. They also don't fit my very curvy shape. These are a pretty close dupe for the TS on a budget. The rise is perfect and they have enough stretch to accommodate curves. The fabric is a bit thin and isn't as soft as I'd like, but they are well appointed on a budget. Please make this style with a silicone seat!
