I bought these from smart pal and they are obviously used and worn. Can’t believe I paid $260 for worn leathers. Will be returning

Love the feel, hate the velcro pad system!
I ride in the Classic Wide FreeJump leathers with the Classic stirrups in all of the saddles at work and love them. For my own use, I purchased the Soft'Up Lite stirrups, which have a narrow eye. I really wish FreeJump would make a smooth, soft leather version of stirrup leathers to fit these stirrups! I had quite the opposite experience of another customer; I wasn't about to use the grip pads on my Devoucoux monoflap jump saddle for fear of what they would do to the leather, but after 6-8 rides found that even the suede pad was rubbing the saddle and leaving marks that no amount of soap or conditioner has helped.
I love the way the stirrups feel under my leg (you really don't feel the metal ring, nor does it mark the saddle in any way) and the added stability and security of wide leathers in general, but these are going back. Will happily buy a set when FreeJump makes a version that is just plain old smooth buttery soft leather, no velcro and changeable pads involved.

Recently had a monoflap saddle fitted to my mare, had been using a pair of freejump soft up pro stirrups and always wanted to try the whole system. Glad I did! These are helpful in keeping my lower leg very stable, I was worried about the metal ring and the pro grip pads but they don't make marks on the soft calfskin of my saddle! Can't even feel them beneath my leg. Love the number of holes added for a perfect length as well as the biothane backing on the leathers so they don't stretch over time. So glad I made the jump and bought these!
