Great for changing weather
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who gets cold easily, this vest is everything. Fall weather in my area varies immensely, one day it is warm, the next is freezing. This vest is what I need for that kind of weather, it’s lightweight and works well for slightly breezy days and on days with a frosty chill, I can turn on the heating feature, to keep me nice and warm.
I will say my one big question was how am I going to wash this, as it has wires that run along the inside of the vest. But it turns out it is machine washable, so it’s not a problem at all.

Great Vest with or without the Heating Element
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Backcountry Heated Women's Vest in the Morel brown color, size Medium in exchange for my honest review. I am very impressed with this vest for many reasons. This vest is very well constructed with very sturdy zippers both for the center closure and 3 zippered pockets, 2 on the lower front and 1 inside on the upper left. There is also a drop pocket on the lower left inside. There are 2 pull cinch bungees if you need to tighten the vest around your waist. The vest has a bit of elastic stretch edging around the arm holes for nonbinding comfort. Best of all is that this vest is quite comfortable to wear, as is, for mildly cool days. Or, using the included rechargeable battery pack (charging cord included) it is great to keep your torso warm on the colder days, worn alone or as a base layer. The Morel color is neutral but fun. This comes with a bonus stuff sack for packing. The vest does run a bit small, especially for us gals with hips, so size up if you are between sizes.

Incredible

There are times when I have to be outside in the cold for over an hour at a time but with this super soft and oh so warm vest it is not a problem at all. While others around me are shivering I am toasty warm. I would recommend this vest for absolutely everyone. This is one of the greatest inventions ever and is a complete game changer. It's also very stylish. I just love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with my new heated vest! It is a beautiful color and looks very stylish. I am able to layer it for ultimate warmth and comfort. The vest itself is well-made with superior materials, durable fabric, and quality construction. Stitching is top-notch and the zipper has smooth functionality. The battery is easy to charge and is far less bulky than I expected. It feels like a small wallet in my pocket; it doesn't have much weight and you will hardly notice it's in the inner pocket. There is an easily accessible button on the outer shell to adjust the desired heat setting or you can control it through an app on your smart device. The app comes in handy if you decide to wear the vest under a coat. The storage pouch is a nice touch, I'll appreciate the added protection during off months. Above all, I enjoy how fast it heats up and maintains my comfort level. It works better than I anticipated and I would highly recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sizing is a little bit to the large size. The arm holes are large and bulky. The styling and the color is nice. The battery fits nicely in the pocket provided for the battery. There is an on and off switch on the battery which is nice so you can turn it off when not in use. The switch is illuminated on the outside of the jacket with four different colors depending on the level of heat you are on. The vest heats up very quickly and keeps me nice and warm. It washes very nicely in the washer. I definitely recommend this vest.

Recess Duty Heaven

This week has been ridiculously cold for mid October so I broke out the vest. It did an amazing job making the cold weather tolerable. It is quite thin which allows me to wear it under other coats.

High technology clothing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know where to begin when reviewing The Backcountry Heated Vest. Here in New England, it gets very cold quickly. I am loving this vest while sitting in the bleachers watching my son's football games. The fabric has a repellent against a light drizzle. I am so impressed with the heated system! It keeps me toasty warm!! It's quite simple to use, charge the battery, plug it into the adapter, place it in the designated pocket and your ready to go. The heat technology can be adjust through Bluetooth or by pressing a button on the vest. I might add that there are multiple pockets in the vest , which makes it very convenient when carrying car keys, cellphone etc. Also, the company provides a little bag that fits in a pocket. The vest can be folded to sit in the bag. I'm amazed at how easily the vest can be folded and stowed away into this little bag. It's so easy and convenient. If you haven't guessed, I'm in love with this vest and oh yes, the brown color is perfect for my coloring.

After setting up, it works great. First of all, this heated vest is a new synthetic down puffer one with registered mobile warming heating technology and featuring a new low-profile battery which is designed safe. And with a water-resistant nylon outer shell, the heating system is therefore enhanced with synthetic down insulation which is a down alternative materials from recycled materials into ultra-fine insulation fibers, cool, right?! Moreover, this heated vest can provide heating temperature ranging from 135F on high to 90F on low for 2-10 hours. Furthermore, the temperature controls can be done by mobile phone which is really convenient to use while I’m outside. I’m really happy with this lightweight and high quality heated vest this winter, super impressed.

True to size
Runs true to size. Got XS, 5'5†120 lbs.
pros: it's nice and warm especially for chilly mornings when the heat isn't turned on. Fits well and I like the look of it.
Cons: it gets really hot in the back coil even on low, the heat isn't radiant throughout. It helps to have a sweater or something thick underneath.
Have severe Raynauds and it helps to keep my core warm. Overall I really like it a lot.

Great for downhill skiing
Love the fit of this vest and the battery life is awesome. I've been using it for downhill skiing and it's the perfect solution. I no longer have to wear multiple layers of instillation-just a base layer, the vest and my outer shell. Highly recommend!

Amazing fit, true to size awesome build quality

Toasty warm in Colorado
Everything was as expected. Good color, a good fit, easy to use. I normally wear a size small or someplace between a size small in size medium. I ordered the medium and it fits great. I can easily wear it by itself or it easily fits underneath my winter coat.I feel like I have a little secret when I'm out walking my dog in the cold and I'm toasty warm! I've never experienced being warm in cold temperatures before. I highly recommend this product.

Great vest, comfortable and the battery heat is terrific. It is comfortable to wear without the battery on. I love the primaloft fabric. I originally ordered the small but thought it was a bit big. I ordered the XS and it is a better fit. So for me the XS is the size I would have gotten if I did not see the comment about runs big.
