Really works!!
I've now had a pair of these buckets since November 2019 and they really work! I have actually NEVER needed to scrub for slime in them, only everyday gunk that gets in there (old hay and grain, dust, etc.). My buckets get dumped and refilled daily, but I HATE scrubbing slime out and these are worth every penny.
I can't say that my horses prefer this bucket over a normal one, as I hang these in the shade and their large water buckets are in the sun. So it's hard to say if they prefer the water taste in these or if they just prefer the cooler shaded water (who wouldn't?). Regardless, the slime factor reduction in these is amazing. I'll never buy another kind of water bucket again.

Sent Wrong Product
I just received what should have been two Equifit Clean buckets and instead got two black fortiflex buckets. I called customer service and they have already fixed it for me, re-ordering the correct buckets and sending me a return label for the wrong ones. I just wanted to throw this out there in case some of the dissatisfied reviewers aren’t actually reviewing the correct product.

Awesome product!
I bought these buckets because mine keeped getting slimy, I wanted a bucket that wouldn't do that, that can clean and put back in and add water and be done with it and if does get slimy use a product on the label on bucket recommends. I love everything about the buckets.

My mare is a big drinker but I don't feel like her bucket gets scrubbed enough for my liking in the summer. I got her one of these to help woth summer slime and she won't drink from it. She will drink her other bucket completely and then go outside and drink from the pasture immediately instead of drinking from this. It's odd since she is a good drinker. We do have a well so wondering if she will drink from it on city water at the trainers where the water is different. Also this bucket has the same slime level as the regular fortified bucket she has.

it works!!
OK...I bought one of these and did an experiment to see if my horse really preferred this bucket. I have this bucket and two others hung in his stall and over the last two weeks he has drained this one first. So, I guess my horse really does prefer this bucket! A little pricey, but a very sturdy bucket with a thicker bail than the usual.

Really Works!
I bought this for my hay dunking, messy gelding to replaçe his regular bucket when I noticed it was getting super slimy despite regular cleaning - and so far there is essentially no slime, the water is a lot clearer, and he wants to drink from the bucket now instead of only drinking from his automatic waterer and just dunking in the bucket. Really happy with this!

So far so good!
Granted, I dump and scrub my buckets several times a week as a habit to keep the water fresh and clean, but these buckets have stayed fresh and been easy to maintain!

No Smell, Clean Bucket :)
Got this as a gift for my horse who is a hay dunker and finicky drinker. Everyone at the barn hated his old buckets that smelled and were slimy so much that they chipped in to buy me (him) one of these. He will not typically drink out of new buckets but took to this one immediately. Most important the bucket stays clean without a nasty smell! He loves it and as such, so don't I! Finicky horse approved.
