Instructions for Use:
Shake well before using. For best results, use Neem Shampoo prior to skin lotion. Be sure to clean area really thoroughly and clear of all debris and dirt. Allow area to dry then apply Skin Lotion liberally. Leave on. Reapply as necessary until condition has improved.

Best stuff
Have been using this stuff for a year now. Always keep a supply on hand! This stuff works on everything from cannon crud to scratches and any other skin thing,heals stuff within a day or 2 and non irritating to the skin! Have tried lots of products but this stuff is it!

Improvement seen in just one treatment!
This product is amazing!! My mare had one of the worst cases of rain rot this winter I have ever seen. She wasn’t use to turn out and with the rainy, snowy long winter she had a difficult time and her back and rump was just covered in the bumpy scabs! i thought for sure she would need ATB therapy to help her get over this case but when I used this product she showed improvement in her first treatment!!! I’m absolutely in love with the lotion so I ordered 4 more and 2 shampoo, 2 zinc pasted and the sheath cleaner! This product was a life saver and just reading the ingredients you’ll know why!! Easy to use and the Lavender smell is just lovely!

This skin lotion was very effective in helping an older horse with rain rot. After bath, the neem oil in the lotion penetrates into the skin.

Really helped with Jack’s itching!
Jack is a VERY sensitive guy! When he gets a bug bite, he will rub himself raw scratching it. He was doing the same thing to his tail and our trainer suggested that he may have sweet itch. She recommended Equiderma lotion and I’m thrilled with the results. As soon as I notice an itchy spot on him I apply Equiderma and he stops rubbing/scratching it. It’s made him much more comfortable!

Worked great for tail rub
My horse has never been a tail rubber, but a month ago, he started to do so. He has a beautiful, full tail, and he rubbed it almost raw. Huge bare spot. I had him tested for worms, and it came back negative. I've heard great things about this lotion but never needed it. So, I decided to give it a try. This lotion must have relieved the itch/irritation almost immediately, because my gelding stopped rubbing, and within a few days, the hair started growing back. The hair is growing back so well that I can't even tell he had rubbed himself bare just a few weeks ago. Very happy with the results. I will always have this on hand.

Works well
I bought this to treat scratches on my horse's front pastern. It seems to be working quite well. After a few treatments, the area is no longer sore to the touch and the scabs are gone. Good stuff!

Waste of money, super disappointed!
I ordered this product based on all the great reviews but was shockingly disappointed. My gelding gets pastern dermatitis on his hinds from stepping into his urine spot when he walks off, so thought I would give this lotion a try. First of all it is not a lotion it's a liquid consisting of what appears to be 80% mineral oil 10% lotion and about 10% chlorhexidine beads. Also the substances constantly repel each other so you are shaking the bottle and mixing it non-stop (see photo). The dirt sticks to it like a magnet and the product cakes off very quickly. I applied twice a day for 5 days with no improvement. Super disappointed, had high hopes and at a high cost of $33 ($24 bottle plus $9.00 shipping ) ouch ?!

Cleared up pastern dermatitis in 2 applications!
We live in Florida and it’s super rainy and humid in the summer - my young horse had pastern dermatitis on a front leg in August, and after two applications of Equiderma (over just a couple of days or so), it was completely clear and his hair growth was returning. Applied a third time for safe measure and the dermatitis did not return. Very happy. Yes it’s a bit oily, but it works - and quickly! Plan to use this for our regular summer fungal issues in years to come. Highly recommend!

Pretty much a miracle product!
I've tried everything to get rid of cannon bone crud, so when I found this product, I thought the reviews might be too good to be true. I was hesitant to pay $25+ for a product that might not work, however, with the first use I saw immediate results on all of our show horses. We have one horse that has had really awful cannon bone crud all his life and it took only one application of this lotion to remove it... and it came off with no scrubbing, picking, or scabbing. It really is a miracle!

So glad SmartPak carries this brand now!
Our barn has been using Equiderma products for a while now and have yet to find skin solutions that we like better. Being a rescue we get a lot of horses with rain rot along with other issues and this product clears up just about every skin ailment. Happy to see the shampoo, conditioner, spray and zinc as well. Would love to see the wound ointment carried by SmartPak.

I have a 22 year old gray (basically white) Arabian gelding with massive cannon crud...until I used the Equiderma Skin Lotion on his back legs. Now they're as white as the rest of him. I'm amazed and my barn manager is too. I will definitely continue to use this product.

Worked great!!
I bout this a month ago for my horse with rain rot and it worked really good. He also had gelding crud and cleared that up too. The only things is my horse is white and the lotion is very oily and left him with a gross coat.

What a terrific find!
The Equiderma Skin Lotion has been quite effective in decreasing the crusty areas on my horse's heels. I have used other topical products and none have worked very well. I use it every other day and the crust has softened and comes off easily in small flakes without leaving open areas. I also applied it where fly spray had irritated my gelding's sensitive areas. I used a spray bottle because he was ouchie. Within 2 days the irritation had almost completely resolved and he was comfortable enough to ride.

Worked surprisingly well!
I was pretty skeptical - my pinto mare has photosensitivity issues, so I deal with bad scratches all over her canon bones on all four legs every summer!! I can't use MTG on her, and the cream-based remedies work great for clearing the scabs, but the skin underneath wasn't recovering. I used this on DRY LEGS once I had removed the scabs, and then covered her legs with mesh fly boots. WOW! Her legs are clearing up rapidly and the hair is growing back. Really impressed.

Recommended from a barn mate who loves Equiderma products! Was really happy with how it worked, the smell, and how little you need to use to make it work. I will certainly buy this once I run out again but thankfully a little goes a long way. My horse's fungus is already gone.
