Instructions for Use:

Apply lightly especially in sheath and udder area. Heavy application may result in hives. If hives occur, rinse horse with cool water and re-apply with a lighter mist. If irritation persists discontinue use.

So she had to see the vet today to get the swelling down

My horse can be a bit sensitive with a lot of fly sprays on the market, and her skin tolerates this product well. Most importantly, she is normally the first horse running at the gate to come inside when the bugs get bad, and since using this product she is much more comfortable and wants to stay outside longer. I also use this fly spray on myself and my dog who I take on walks through the woods here in MA where the ticks are atrocious this year, and when using this product I have not found any ticks crawling on either of us. To apply it on my dog, I put it on a towel first and then wipe it on him instead of spraying it directly on him. This fly spray smells great and I love that it has all natural ingredients.

Full of oil and chemicals but I had to use it because the flys are so bad this year. Dirt stuck to my boy so bad. I was so happy when my Equiderma arrived. I love the Equiderma horse spray! It’s all natural so I don’t mind spraying it on my hands to cover my handsome boys face. Also, my daughter can spray it and I’m not worried about my daughter being exposed to nasty chemicals. Thank you Equiderma for creating a natural, non greasy spray that works and keeps my boy comfortable and handsome.

It was separated and had to be shaken. I purchased a bottle from SmartPak and the bottle wasn’t separated and very whitish. It causes severe irritation and swelling especially on his neck, jaw and chest. I thought he had a reaction to insects, then realized it was from the fly spray. I have not been able to use it on him since. I’m not sure if they changed the formulation, but I will not touch it again unfortunately.

I have converted some others at my barn, as my girl is calm and peaceful and others are stomping and swishing.

Plus, In order to dissolve ( mix) any essential oil with a water base ( extract, alovera gel) one MUST use an emulsifier! But THAT info has been omitted. There are very few -and barely working- natural emulsifier...90% of emulsifier are CHEMICALS.

I thought I would try this spray as a healthy alternative to the usual fly sprays. We noticed after the first time using it, our pony had what looked like burns on her neck and sides. We tried it one more time in a small area to see if it was the spray that caused it and it happened again. Definitely disappointing.
