Secure, pretty easy to apply, learn about fitting
Nice design; in hindsight, recommend not only 1) measuring your horse's hooves as directed but 2) also contacting EasyCare to borrow their 3-size "Fit Kit", and 3) review at least a couple of EasyCare fitting videos on-line before ordering. Both the Heart and Sling are relatively easy to understand and apply; I suspect that the Heart is more secure (as advertised) but if the Heart straps rest on the coronary band, probably need to default to the Sling -- which I did (thank you for the easy return/exchange, SmartPak) and was pleasantly surprised at how secure and well they worked during the first 2 days on level terrain -- gravel, grass, dirt, arena and (inadvertently) one 40min trailer-ride. Am not normally a boot-user, so can only really compare Furies to the original EasyBoot, Soft-Ride (not for riding), and Cavallos. Furies retain more water than I expected; seems wise to un-boot before using a wash rack and/or not-too-long after creek crossings. Be sure to apply the lock-tight (provided) as directed, unless returning them - almost lost a screw during try-on! Will try more challenging terrain in the future; meanwhile, gotta give the Fury Sling 5stars for now.

I received these boots a few weeks ago and was pleased with the quality and fit on my gelding's hind feet. Today was the third time they have been used and after fifteen minutes of walk trot work in the arena, I lost a screw on both boots--a front screw on one and a strap screw on the other. According to the manufacture's video, these screws were already treated with locktite at the factory. Extra screws are not included with the boot and the extra screws pack is out of stock at Easycare. Pretty frustrating.
