Fits well
This my first pair of Dubarry boots and I was not disappointed. I have a wide calf, but I took a chance on these and they fit quite well. The calf portion is snug but not too tight, and the shoe portion fits perfectly. I am hoping they will stretch a bit with wear but only so they will be easier to get on and off.

Favorite Dubarry style
I decided to write this review in order to share my experiences for anyone who might be deciding between the Galaway and Glanmire. I originally wanted the Galaway slimfit size 37 and when I tried them on I felt they were just a tad to tight in the top opening. The regular calf Galaway is to big on my calf so I ventured out trying on the Longford and the Glanmire. Let me tell you how perfect the Glanmire fits!!! it is the perfect fit on my calf, snug but adjustable so I can tighten or loosen the calf area depending on the temperatures and how many pairs of socks I am wearing! Anyone who is considering the Galaway Slim calf should consider comparing them to the Glanmire. They are gorgeous and comfortable! for reference I am 5'4 and 112 pounds. I have a slim calf and in tall boots I always wear a slim calf.

This is my 2nd boots made by Dubarry. Both the Galway & Glanmire are similar in looks but the Glanmire cord laces make it a little more sexier and easy to slip in and out, even if you have very slim legs. To make the boots extremely comfortable, I have Dubarry inserts too (buy separately). I have too many compliments on the boots.
