As riders and online shoppers, we know it can be tough to buy a new bridle or pair of boots without trying them on. That's why we moved the fitting room to your living room (or barn)! From breeches to blankets, if you or your horse can try it on, you can return it, free! Just use the pre-paid return label included in your order within 60 days from the purchase date. And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

The De Gogue addresses tension in the poll, mouth and neck. Applies poll pressure when the horse raises his head, encouraging the horse to lift, stretch and engage. Helps the horse develop the correct muscles for a rounded frame and self carriage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from To small I bought this to help my horse frame up and collect, and I had been using my trainers which was working great. I decided to buy my own and was very happy to recieve it, until I discovered it was way to small. Need a bigger size and I only have a 16hh average Warmblood, with an average neck length.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a "one size fits all" My trainer suggested that the de gogue might assist my 8 yr old clyde/tb cross in his training. I was excited to receive it. Unfortunately, it did not fit - needs to be longer...or the piece from the girth needs to extend more. Quality is great - leather was quite nice. Price is very attractive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality for the price I bought this for my 17hh TB who has trouble with engaging his back and understanding the action I am asking for. I wanted an aid that did not require the use of a surcingle, so side reins were out, and I am not too comfortable with using draw reins. For the price, I am impressed with the quality of the leather and overall piece. Nearly every piece is adjustable and it is possible to turn it into a chambon. However, beware if your horse is tall and/or has a long neck. I do have to use this with alterations to the yoke to ensure that it is long enough for my boy and is not restricting him. This is easily achieved by the use of either baling twine (the ever-popular barn solution) or extra bridle pieces (cheekpieces work quite well). This is the only reason I did not give the product 5 stars, since I do have to change it a bit in order to successfully use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The only fault I would give this is that it may run a bit small. My horses are 16.1 and 16.2 with fairly long necks and I have it adjusted on the last hole.Otherwise it's a good product for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous piece of equipment. I bought this to add to my gelding's topline regimen, and it has worked fantastically. He's had a few injuries that have kept him out of work for greater than 6 months, and his topline has really suffered. Whereas he will tend to drop his head too low with just side-reins, adding a chambon/de gogue (the rings are removable so this piece can be used as both!) has helped get his head up and in and get his entire frame rounded. I actually can see how it gets him to move differently. Highly recommend, just PLEASE make sure you know how to use it first!
