Improved Fit and Love the Customization!
Having four horses it is difficult to figure out whose mask belongs to who. I updated their masks because I could customize with a name. The fit is improved from the masks that I purchased two+ years ago. Now there is no guessing!

Nice mask!
This is very nice - very secure with the Velcro closure and the ears keep all the bugs off the head. My horses love it and never try to rub it off - due to the good visibility thru the net material. I take them off at night and no bites!

Fits perfectly & well constructed
This mask does run big as I purchased the horse size and it fit my warmblood perfectly. I love how it has a cutout for the forelock and covers the ears. The double Velcro lock is nice too and keeps the mask secure. I also like the material the entire mask is made out of. It is softer doesn’t feel overly plastic-y like other masks. I highly recommend spending this mask!

Good quality, withstands young horse antics
I bought this a month ago and it is lasting despite the playful antics of 4 and 5yo horses who like to tug on each other's flymasks.
Roomy ears and nice adjustability with the Velcro, too. When the babies eventually destroy this I will definitely purchase another.

Love !! True to size
I bought this fly mask praying it was going it fit my arab/paint filly. I had not been able to find a mask that would fit her correctly becausee she takes way more of the arab side. To my surprise this fits very well. The only thing is the ears are bigger than id like but not really a problem. The embroidery of the mask is beautiful !!

Have bought many styles of fly mask, the arab sizes fits my pony well
Plus adding the name( for extra cost) was well worth it, for now my horse husband puts the correct mask on the correct horse. I have 3 different horses with very different head sizes.

Short Elastic on fastener
I have bought multiple Crusader fly masks over the years and expected this to be a lay up for quality. Not sure if this is a design change or a quality control issue, but the section of elastic on the fastener is so short, I can only use an inch and a half of the Velcro contact to close it. Not the most comfortable for the horse and not very secure from my point of view.

Well made, durable, fits great, stays on
I've used several different fly masks over the years and this one ranks near the top. Quality materials and good fit. I can tell it will last many years. My active quarter horse loves to roll and rub on things but keeps this mask on with the exception of one ear falling out once. Lots of others at the barn are trying the stretchy new style fly masks, but they complain of tricky sizing and their horses rub those masks off every day and they end up somewhere out in the paddock or pasture.
I'll stick with this tried and true style and fabric. The free embroidered name was an awesome bonus and looks great.

Best Fly Mask
I've used these for years and love them. I have a thoroughbred with a smaller face who goes perfect in the horse size and my Rheinlander cross wears the warmblood size so they are true to size. Very comfortable for the horses and those ears are perfect for keeping those pesky gnats out. Highly recommend.

Ok, but not as good as the last one
I have an older version of this fly mask. It is not completely destroyed but I thought I would get another to be prepared. The older version had a couple holes in an outer layer of fabric on the ears but was still protected from the flies because there was another layer. The new mask is one layer :( Any holes will result in flies getting in. Also the older one had elastic on the velcro strap, this one does not.

So far so good
Just got this in and my horse is wearing it out for the first time tonight. It looked huge when i got it and I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it fits great just a little on the larger side on the ears and velcro strap is as tight as it can go. He’s a warmblood but on the small side and I ordered a horse size if it helps. Embroidery looks super cute too!

Fits well and love the forelock hole!
I bought an Arab size for my Morgan mare. It fits her very well and is quite sturdy. The forelock hole is great for horses with long, lush forelocks like my girl. It’s hard to find masks with forelock holes. I had her name embroidered in purple and it looks lovely :).

Large Pony Fly Mask
I bought the large pony sized fly mask for my Arab mare, last fall she was too small for the cob size. However when I tried it on there just barely wasn't enough clearance for her eyes for me to be comfortable with her wearing it.
I like how soft the ears are and how well made these fly masks are, but this time it's horses: 1 Me: 0

Great for horses with big forelocks
I always buy Cashel fly masks because they have a hole for my fjords forelocks. In general they are good quality, although the thing I don't like is that the webbing of the mask part has a tendency to pull away from the binding. Also sometimes the fit is a little bit variable.

I used to think these were the best you could get
But....after going through 4 of them now, I don't know that they're the best mask on the market. The velcro around the jaw is ALWAYS too large on the horse size, but everything else about the horse size fits my boy perfect. Because the velcro is so long, it provides a nice grab strap for his herdmates to hold onto and remove/rip/destroy the masks. They all rip in the same place, it seems, right along the seam where the felt meets the mesh of the mask, along the jaw. It seems for the price, if I'm going to go through 2-3 fly masks a season, I should just stick with something cheaper.

Holds up to sweet itch symptoms
So far, these Cashels are the only masks that hold up to my mare's sweet itch itchiness, even at the worst of her symptoms. I order her the horse size and modify the closure to fit her head, cob size doesn't fit her face right. She is a 15h Mustang with an arabian, slightly dish face. The fabric of the ears is breathable and I have other masks that are 2 years old, the ears haven't snagged or torn despite being rubbed on stall walls, trees, fences, etc. The face portion is durable and keeps its shape even after washing by hand or thrown in the washing maching. It is the edge that has started to fray after 2 years of abuse but still function.

Well-designed and available in warmblood size!
My 16hh mustang has a pretty, but large, head. We also have very annoying little gnats in the summer with an affinity for ears. I've tried many different fly masks with ears, and this is the first one that fits him well and stays on MOST of the time.

This fly mask fits really well, has a good shape, great features w ears, and is monogrammed w my horse's name. The material is firm enough to last but still soft for my thoroughbred's skin.
