Nicely Vented Ear Bonnet
This ear bonnet has good ventilation, and I had no issues fitting the Horse size on a 17hh thoroughbred. It would be nice to have additional color options, such as brown (to blend in) or a lighter white/grey (to reflect sunlight).

Needs to come in larger size
Looks like lovely ear net. Unfortunately “oversize” is not large enough for my draft cross. It is about 1 inch short in the ears and not quite wide enough.

It's lovely, but not big enough for our big girls
A friend bought one, the Oversize, for her Shire Sport Horse mare, and it's just not quite long enough in the ears and wide enough over the top. Lovely product, but maybe an Oversize XX would be good? I tried it on my Clydesdale x TB cross mare and had the same problem.

Throat Latch tie Important For My Horse
The quality & price awesome. Throatlatch cord awesome idea. My horse likes to shake his head when wearing ear bonnets, this can be a disaster when the bridle is on because the ear bonnet & bridle come off together. I put this on over the bridle as appose to under. Once it is sitting on top of the bridle I tie the throatlatch cord, then I push the front of the bonnet as well as his forelock under the brow band and I smooth out the sides no one can tell it's not been placed on under the bridle. My horse actually likes this one, he now lowers his head when I go to put it on (too funny) he only shakes his head at the end of the work out now when I return him to the barn. The worst thing that has happened is his one ear came out but he shakes really hard and the bridle and bonnet stay on his head. I have tried Les Mieux ear bonnets & orderd Schokermohle from smartpak for us this bonnet was far better because of the throatlatch cord and for the summer I found the crotched bonnet was a little lighter and it has mesh ears so for california sunshine mesh is far better. Hands down best bonnet i have tried.

Bought two of these, one horse size and one oversized horse. The oversized is not much bigger than the horse size one, the thought tie could be a few inches longer ( would be helpful) and the ears could use a little extra room.

I have not yet used this ear net, but it fits my horse well and seems well made. I like the netted ears and am excited to use it on my mare that sweats like crazy in the heat!

Love this Ear Net!!!
Got it two weeks ago - Put it on my girl and she was in heaven. She wears a full fly mask - ears, eyes, long nose. She loves her fly mask. So, the ear net was a blessing for her. Much quieter ride and she enjoyed herself more!

Great for keeping the bugs out of the ears.
I wanted a bonnet for our gelding since he seemed to be bothered a lot by gnats and little flies this year. I liked the idea of the mesh ears so that he still has good air circulation. So far this has worked great, it looks nice, is really good qaulity and keeps the bugs out of his ears.

Crooked
It looked nice when I opened it up, and I was glad it was breathable mesh. However, when I put it on, it was pretty crooked and wouldn’t sit flat. It does do the job though and I use it for schooling.

Really love this ear net!
I’m really happy with the quality of this ear net. I love that the ears are mesh and not a very stiff material. It fit my OTTB perfectly, and has plenty of material behind the crown, so I may cut off the string.

Love the Size Selection
I bought this ear net in the oversize because my project mare is an average sized horse with the biggest ears ever and the regular ear nets would squeeze her ears. So, I'm super happy I found this ear net that not only gave me color options, but size options, for a really nice price. The quality is pretty good, too. Definitely will buy again when I need to.

Nicely made
My TB hates bugs! Since we added new footing to the outdoor arena, it's the best place to ride. Ben's new ear net makes it more tolerable. It's well made, doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart, at a very reasonable price.

Nice for the price
Fits my big headed TB well. The only thing I don't care for is the mesh on the front part that lays on their forehead. I like the mesh ears though! Great for everyday schooling!

Really nice ear net!
This ear net has very soft, comfortable ears and fits my 15.2 hand gelding great! Well made, and the bridle fits great over it. Plenty wide enough over the poll so the bridle crown lays comfortably without the ear net bunching. Reasonably priced and looks like it will hold up well.

Monogram not as expected but GREAT customer serv
I bought this in pony size and added the monogram "JMM". I received the product in a timely manner especially for a monogram. Unfortunately the monogram did not look as I expected and did not seem legible (see attached photo). When I called in I received excellent customer service from Sara Ross who contacted the embroidery team to see if it was something that could be fixed. Upon determining that it was how the Js were produced she is now shipping a plain bonnet to me. I appreciated the effort that she put into working on my problem and will continue to shop with smartpak

Nice Bonnet. Does not look as pictured.
The image makes it seem like the brow part of the bonnet is solid and can be embroidered. It isn't. It is completely mesh. Fortunately, the company I work with for embroidery was able to sew a material to it and embroider it. Otherwise, is a nice bonnet.

OS did not fit my draft cross
I was super sad, this didn't fit my draft x's head/ears. In all fairness tho, he has a massive donkey head. Cute bonnet tho, wish it had worked out. Smartpak awesome to deal with as always!!

Quality is what you pay for
I finally found a cheap ear net for my warmblood. Others wanted twice the price! But.... my first one was missing stitching on the ear and the center swatch of fabric is crooked. I exchanged for a new one and the stitching is complete but the fabric swatch is still crooked. I'll live with it but don't expect quality!

It fits!!
I was so happy to find Warmblood sized ear nets. I was cutting horse size ones to fit my horse. This is over 2 inches larger and has larger ear too. Nice fit the Navy color is really sharp against my Liver horse.

Very nice for the price!
Bought it but had to return it sadly. I really wanted this to fit because it was so nice for the price, but my horse has a smaller head and ears. He's not quite small enough for cob but this was too big in the ears.

Awesome, especially in the hotter weather!
I purchased this about a month ago because I was looking for a solid black ear net and was happy to see this had mesh fabric over the ears. So many rides you take off the fly bonnet to find a sweaty mess, so with summer not even in full swing yet I through I would give this a try. Was super happy right out of the box with the design and fit. Levi rides with ear puffs, so the bonnet isn't so much to muffle noise for him. The fact that this will allow great air flow, keep flies off him and not turn him into a sweat ball is a win win! I love how it drops low down his head as well. Definitely recommend!
