Don’t bother
If your handling requires a chain you will want a lead rope & hardware that is strong enough for the job.
This rope it thin & the hardware is a sad easily bent/broken clip. The end of the rope is just glued together, no cap or actual finish.
I would not recommend!

worst leadrope ever
this is not a leadrope, but a narrow thin rope with rope clamps on the end and a chain attached. the rope clamps are not even crimped enough that if a horse spooked the rope would pull through. suitable for a dog maybe but certainly not strong enough for a horse......if it wasnt so expensive to send it back i would be...but to spend 7 bucks to get back 12 is not worth the effort. it will sit in the bottom of my junk drawer......on to shop else where.

Perfect length
Really like the weight and length of this chain. Also nice soft fabric for the rope part

too short and not heavy duty
It was too short and not heavy duty enough for me. I should have checked it out further. So poor for me but might be helpful for others.

Poor quality
Poor quality lead rope. I ordered this to only use once in awhile, however the material frayed very quickly and easily. The entire leadrope detached from the chain portion shortly after purchasing. Not worth buying.

Love this lead!
I have the black/pink version of this lead and it has lasted quite a few years so I decided to buy another for my gelding. I love the chain, it's durable and doesn't get rusty. I also love the soft lead itself. Highly recommend

Looks cheap
I just received this lead and am very disappointed. Much smaller than pictured and very short. Diameter of rope is half the size of a normal cotton lead, will be sending it back. Waste of money.

Too short to be useful
This lead was too short and small to be useful. It looked like it was intended for a small child and pony. I also prefer the rope to have more thickness ron have more to hold onto.

Too much downsizing can be bad
I know tiny houses, compact cars and fun size candy bars are popular but tiny, weak chain lead ropes do not mix well with horses. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Anyway, you can use this on your chihuahuas, American Girl model horse or toddlers and it will not be overkill or injure them. This product is suitable for a horse that melts at the sight of chain lead rope. If you need a good one move on to a different product.
