Needs more adjustment options
I have used Webbers for years. Most recent purchase has only 6 adjustment holes. All the other Webbers I have owned or have seen on friends' saddles have about 13 adjustment holes. I didn't notice at first as I ride 4 holes from the top and my taller trainer rides 6 from the top. An even taller friend wanted to try my saddle. We realized then that there were no more holes. Had to change out to longer Webbers. What gives? When did the makers change to narrow the adjustment range?

Nice leather, bad for saddle
I had high hopes for these leathers but am disappointed. The leather guard that is supposed to slide over the buckle is too small and doesn't fit well over the metal, thus creating an annoying lump under your calf. Also, the guard (when in its correct spot) rubs the bottom of my saddle flap, and after only two uses, has worn a rub mark in a brand new custom saddle. I would not buy these again and will return the ones I have.

Leathers EVERYONE should have!
I was so tired of feeling the "bump" of the stirrup buckle on my saddle. These leathers are PERFECT. No more "buckle bump" better contact with my horse and much closer contact!

Haven’t needed my second set yet!
I bought my first set 2 seasons ago(early 2017) and traing and event regularly- average of 4-5d/week riding in summer, 2-3/week in winter. These webbers are fantastic. I wasn’t sure about durability, so bought a “just in case” replacement pair before eventing season started last year, checked them before every XC course, and... haven’t used the backups yet! They might scuff calfskin, but my buffalo hide saddle has been fine. They are much more comfortable under your thigh- a couple friends have even started using them. These are great!

Repeat buyer
Like another reviewer, I have a longer and a shorter pair of these. I do *LOVE* not having a buckle under my thigh and I notice now when I do. The new shorter pair that I bought did scratch my saddle up at the beginning under the leathers (and I was upset!) but it buffed out and they stopped doing it when they broke in.

Nice looking, but seem less durable
I have a monoflap saddle so needed stirrups that did not require keepers on the saddle. I measured according to the chart recommendations and ordered the size stirrup that matched (24), and ended up with a stirrup that was too short. I had it on the last hole and it was still too short. I had to order another pair the next size up (28). I recommed going one size up from the measurement chart. I have noticed when i put up the stirrups that the leather is already getting worn wear the stirrup irons sit against the stirrup leather. I have had these a couple months now so not sure how durable these are going to be.

Can't go back
A pair of these webbers came on my saddle and I haven't been able to go back to the regular leathers! I can feel the buckle under my thigh now! The only thing is that I had to buy another shorter pair, because if you shorten them too much, the buckle moves across the flap of your saddle and leaves marks :( So I have a longer pair and a shorter pair now.

Best leathers ever
I've had webbers for years. In fact, these were replacements for the webbers I bought close to 20 years ago. The old one's finally had too much wear and tear on them. I love the ease with which they slip onto the saddle. I love the lack of bulk under my leg. They don't - can't - stretch. There's just nothing not to like.
