Rated 4 out of 5 by HalseyGates from Wanted to give it a 5/5 but.......... I was in need of a nice quality stable blanket for my mare for when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. After an extensive search, I settled on Baker, for the volume of positive reviews reflecting a high quality product. I have now been using the blanket for a few weeks, and here is my take: THE GOOD: - Gorgeous color and quality....very classic looking - Decent fit....only slightly unfitted on the rump, which is fine THE BAD: - Monogram on the front shoulder was much smaller than I had anticipated, and the font wasn't done bold enough so it kind-of disappears into the pattern of the blanket. - This blanket is a SHAVINGS MAGNET. I mean COATED. One roll in her stall and the blanket is trashed...the shavings stick to it like crazy and are VERY difficult to get off. I have yet to discover the "trick" to keeping the blanket cleaner. First of all I worry about shavings underneath being itchy on her skin, and secondly it just constantly looks a mess and is a pain to brush off every time I take her out of her stall. This would be the main reason I couldn't give the product 5/5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BTDT from Pony approves! The Baker looks fabulous and the embroidery of my pony's name was perfect. I was not too sure of the fit in his shoulders at first. It was a bit snug. After he has now worn it for a bit, it has stretched and the fit is better. A size larger would have been too much room in the shoulders. It would be nice if the shoulders were gusseted. That is why 4 stars,not,5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TWHMOM from EXCELLENT QUALITY HORSE BLANKET This Blanket was purchased a month ago for a 2 Year Old Tennessee Walking Horse Mare that had been in Training for a little over 30 days and was ready for her "BIG GIRL BLANKET"! I have ALWAYS liked the BAKER BRAND. The Blanket is TRUE TO SIZE. It is VERY GOOD QUALITY!! WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!

I have a quarter horse who runs on the smaller side (about 14.3 hands and not too bulky); I've never had a problem with sizing, she's always been true to a 76, but this blanket was definitely too small and tight in the shoulders. If you're debating to go a size up, as I was when purchasing, just do it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobbi from An old reliable choice! I love the traditional baker blankets. They are a great transitional blanket for the up and down weather of spring and fall. Love the breathable material. Too many stable blankets these days are lined with nylon and can get too hot. We recommend that all of our clients have one for their horses!!

It was brilliantly made so I decided to add the blanket to our wardrobe since New England is cold! It fits my TB pretty well but it has started to rub his shoulders now that he is fully clipped.
