I used to love BOT boots, but the quality keeps getting worse and worse. The design is nice and they fit well, but Velcro closings latches came off after about three months, and the stitches are falling out.

I purchased these for my quarter horse mare who just needed a little support in her hind legs. They are not stiff and are very flexible. They have given her the support she needs without making her legs too hot. Unfortunately, I ordered size too big, so I will be giving my original pair to my daughter's 17.2 h Irish Sport Horse. They will fit him perfectly. Now I am ordering a smaller pair for my mare. Really love these! Highly recommend them to anyone.

I bought these for my mare recovering from bilateral tendon surgery on her vets recommendation. I had been using the BoT quick wraps with mind blowing success so I had great hopes for these.
My mare absolutely HATES them and she's not terribly fussy about things like that. They're so stiff and hard to use that they're uncomfortable for her especially sensitive legs they're intended to protect and support. I've had to stop using them. Furthermore, they're already wearing badly at the fetlock "cup" area after just a small handful of very short uses (maybe cumulatively a total of 20 total minutes worn). For nearly $100, they're a huge disappointment.
I didn't give one star because they do work in terms of the therapeutic objectives of the welltex material. That worked well but the overall design and execution is terrible.
I will likely return as there is no point using something that is uncomfortable and wearing out after such a short time. Majorly disappointed.
