This one is a 10/10 for my sensitive WM/TB Cross!
Trying to find the right girth in like looking for a needle in a haystack! So many options, and types out there. We found a Schomockle canter girth that he liked more than any other and were looking for just a backup girth (Schomockle doesn't make that style anymore). There were very few reviews on this girth, so I took a leap of faith because it looked very similar and because Smartpak has such a great return policy. Low and behold, he loves it! I can always tell immediately if he likes or hates a girth. He's got some strong sensitivity due to some nerve damage by a past saddle and when a girth doesn't feel right to him, his walk stride decreases immediately and I can't get a good medium trot at all. (At least it makes it easy to know if a girth is going to work or not.) Well, a couple rides with this girth, and he's striding out better than he does even with the Schomockle girth. We have tried SO MANY GIRTHS! We've tried very expensive, bougie girths, anatomical girths (which he hates), and everything in between. This is the best one by far! Now I just need one that he likes this well for jumping! I haven't tried to wash it yet, but assuming it should wash great. I love that the flap under the buckles is well sized, so the buckles do not touch his sides and sit on the nerve bundle there. The hole-seeking buckles are awesome when girthing. The only down side to that is that ungirthing is a bit more challenging, especially with fingernails. But so far, the fit and comfort is great, the girthing process is great, and the girth doesn't seem to slip at all or chafe!

Great Purchase
Love this girth! Noticeable improvement in attitude while putting on the girth (tried fuzzy, synthetic, TSF shoulder relief). I think she really appreciates the double elastic and soft, forgiving material. Love that long billets are able to be tucked into the girth itself instead of dangling after the keeper.
