I really wanted to love this turnout blanket becuase I love back on tracks ceramic technology. After 3 days the tail strap broke on this product and it started rubbing my horses shoulders. I have a stocky built thoroughbred who wears size 78. It seems like the neck cut out is too large. The rest of the blanket fits him fine length wise but the neck cut out is so big that it slides back and sits low on his shoulders. The fill material on the inside of the blanket folds up and sits funny on his back so it makes it hard to adjust when it is on him. I'm dissapointed to have spent that much money on a blanket I can no longer use.

I’m so disappointed
I was so excited to get this blanket as a “Christmas present “ to my horse. We love the brand and have other BOT products that are great. The 50g weight equivalent is perfect for Western PA’s up and down temps and rain. Sadly, he only wore it twice and the tail strap broke. The fit is just awful. I tried so many adjustments in the chest but no matter what I do it keeps shifting and sliding. The tail strap connectors are too far up and don’t keep the blanket close to his legs. The tail cover is practically sewn down and with it sliding back constantly it’s made him uncomfortable when he poops lol sounds weird but I can tell! The buckles are not made made of heavy duty metal and one broke after about 2 weeks of making my buddy suffer through adjustments and wearing a poor fitting blanket. He is never hard on blankets so I imagine if your horse is rough on blankets it wouldn’t last a day! I included a picture of my best boy because he’s just adorable and as you can see, he’s built like a stocky little Quarter Horse. He’s 14.3 and usually wears a 72 in SmartPak, WB or Rhino high neck turnouts and they fit perfectly.

Disappointed— great concept, poor construction
I bought this blanket a month ago, and it has been slowly falling apart ever since. I was really excited to find a BOT turnout blanket with both fill and a high neck, and had high expectations since my mesh sheet is six years old and still going strong. After the second use, however, the tail strap came off. Now the reflective piping is coming unglued— the glue is just peeling off in strings. My horse is turned out alone and easy on his blankets, so this is not normal wear and tear. Unacceptable for a $300 blanket!
