Versatile boot for riding, hiking and travel
This boot is an excellent choice for travel. They pull dual duty as a riding boot paired with half chaps and a hiking boot, saving valuable space.
I previously wore out a pair of the non-waterproof version after several years. Those served me well, though realized my mistake on a 5 day horse trek in Tuscany in the pouring rain. I've not tested them in that kind of downpour, so cannot speak to just how waterproof they truly are.
Sizing is fairly generous, but the availability of a wide width is much appreciated.

From horses to dogs.
I used to ride in these, but no longer have a horse☹️Now I use these for morning walks with the dogs. Comfortable and keep my feet dry. They last about 3 years and then I order another pair. This is 6th pair. At least.

Highly reccommend
This is my second pair of terrains. Absolutely no break in required. Very comfortable. I use them for trail riding. A little on the big size. I ususally wear a 9 but with these I wear an 8.5 and still have room for thick socks.

Okay boot
Fit great wore them all day when I got them by the end of the day I had a huge blister on my heel. The inside of the shoe on the heel is not smooth the material is bunched up can’t smooth it out at all will give me a blister every time I wear them. Had to put a heel cushion in just to be able to wear them

Best Boots Ever!
This is my 3rd pair! I absolutely LOVE these boots. SO comfy and fit great with my Terrain II Half chaps. My friends are following in my footsteps and love them just as much as I do!!!! Highly Recommend !!!!

These boots are very comfortable and great for working and as an added bonus they are waterproof. Great for whatever you need to do on a day to day basis.I tried similar products from other companies and they wasn't as comfortable and they are not as good made, they didn't last long after getting wet.I will definitely recommend these to everyone looking for great work or daily shoes.They are very inexpensive for the great quality.

Great boots

I've had the first pair for several years and they are still comfortable and provide excellent support. I just got a new pair because the first pair is a bit scuffed up from all the wear.

Great boots for on the farm.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these boots! I am on my feet 10-15 hours a day on our farm and have heel spurs that like to act up. These are the first boots that have kept inflammation at a minimum during our busy season. I usually only get about 2-3 months out of them as I like to change them out when they get a little stretched out (new structure is best for my feet),but then my kids will wear them with no problem. Also worked well during long hiking trips. Nice quality and fit. I keep a good pair to wear out as they also look good with leggings and a sweater.

Great with minor issues

Positives:
Very comfortable to walk, work, and ride in. I will be using them for my horse packing and trail repair trips in the future. I am also using them somewhat as my daily wear around the barn and work.
Negatives
Shoes are a little wide in the heel, and I’m using an insole to make them work as sizing down was too small. Additionally, after a week of wearing them, some of the stitching is coming off in the toe, but I do not yet know how that will affect longevity.

A sturdy and comfortable boot

These are well-made boots and I am using them for extensive hiking in wet and dry terrain, as well as landscaping work.

Best work and hiking boots I’ve owned

Definitely recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual, Ariat boots outperform all others! Bought these specifically for harvesting muscadine grapes during the month of August in southwest Georgia. Others told me I'd have to wear rubber boots to keep my feet dry in the mornings and to keep all the bugs out - I listened to them for a week before I got tired of the rubber boots and switched back to these. I should have worn them all along! My feet were dry and insect-free, and were not super sore after hours standing in the heat (they're always a little bit sore, but way less so with Ariat). Definitely recommend!
