The most comfort boots I have owned in years
These Ariat boots fit so beautifully. So comfortable, look sharp and feel safe in the saddle. No break in required either!

Good quality
I love these boots. The only complaint I would have is that the calf area is super small. So being a new boot, they are going to be super stiff and it is uncomfortable at first. Other than that, the material quality is great!

Great Boot!
Got these last month and have worn them to do chores and ride multiple times. Great for riding western or English. They break in quick and are nice and comfy. Definitely would recommend!

Great Boots
I bought a pair of these last month and they are comfortable. I love the zipper and have retired my old pull on boots that were a struggle to get on and off. I ride a lot and enjoy these for both riding and working around the stable. Thank you Ariat for the quality and the fair price.

Awesome Boots
I bought these boots to replace the last pair, which lasted almost 7-years. They are comfortable and last.

I have always loved my previous pair of Ariat Paddock boots. Unfortunately, my feet have grown (!), and I am now a size 10.5. These boots don't come in that half-size. I exchanged them for the Eliza boot. I haven't worn them to the barn yet (won't stop raining), but they fit well.

Don’t last long, not durable
I bought a pair of these less then a year ago and the zippers broke and I can’t wear them anymore. Super expensive for something that doesn’t last, you can get way cheaper and more durable ones that aren’t Ariat. Super disappointed, I expect more for how expensive they were. Lasted less then a year. Not buying again

So Durable
I bought a pair of these boots three years ago. They've gone through a lot of wear and tear and have held up to the challenge. They broke in in just a few wears and I'm able to wear them all day long with no problems at all. I'm sure with a good clean and polish they'd look almost brand new! I'm so glad I bought these.

Very stiff
Like most new shoes, they are stiff. There were especially stiff and rubbed on my ankles. I wore then only once and the sole started to come apart. I ordered a pair of ovations instead, and they are a lot more comfortable. I will be returning these.

Great value
I always wear ariat paddock boots because of the comfort, style and durability. My old ones finally wore out after 6 years(!). I am hard on my paddock boots and don’t have time to maintain/take care of them so I wanted a cheaper replacement. The scout boots are marketed for a novice rider(?), but you could fool me. What’s novice about them? They fit the same, feel the same, look the same with the same durability at a lower price. Only difference is no pull tag on back of boot to help slide on. I always get zip front for convenience/laces breakdown overtime and are less weatherproof.

not water resistant
These boots aren't water or dirt resistant. Proof that you get what you pay for.

Held up for almost three years of little to no car
I bought these when I first started working at the barn I'm still at and these have held up to a heavy workload. I bought a different pair of paddock boots because I knew I'd want something waterproof for California winters. The boots have cracked and have some holes and one of the zippers is broken, but I'm honestly not surprised as I can count how many times I've cleaned these on one hand and I've never oiled these. If you're really bad with leather care, these will 100% hold up for a year or two.

Excellent quality, great price
I really didn't want to invest in tall boots, so glad I didn't. These are excellent quality, though I ended up a size smaller than the printable Ariat size chart indicates so I had to exchange for smaller size. Hugs your ankle for perfect support but still gives enough room in the heel as you want with a riding boot. I absolutely recommend these for anyone and I'm using with the Ariat half-chaps. They're very easy to keep clean- I use chemical-free baby wipes when I leave the barn to remove all dust.

Bought these a little more than 2 years ago. Wore them for maybe 2 months. Brought them out today to clean up and wear.. while applying leather polish, the leather (?? Over fabric) coating on the tongue of one boot literally crumbled and peeled off. Does not affect functionality of boot... can't even say it is cosmetic as you cannot see it when zipped. It was just a bit disappointing and surprising... I'd expected a little better quality. The right side has a little spot that appear as though the same thing will happen... so I will not be cleaning up further.

Durable!
These were replacement boots, had the waterproof before. Not sure why these don’t have the tab in the back like my other ones but they get the job done.

Good for the price
I go through several pairs of paddocks boots a year and I always buy Ariats. They are the most comfortable for long days teaching or riding. I’ve bought the more expensive version of this boot and they lasted about a year. These are comfortable, especially with the Ariat inserts. We will see how they hold up!

Arias scout
I have yet to ride in these, but they fit well. I know others have complained of the ankle being tight, but walking around my house in them, I didn't notice that. The leather looks a bit cheap and feels less "leathery" than my other ariats, but as I haven't used them yet, I can't say how they'll hold up. The price was certainly good though

Unfortunate
I bought these probably a year ago or almost a year ago, I am at the barn every single day cleaning out stalls or riding. Unfortunately the stitching in one of the boots was poor. The main problem I have with these boots is the quality of the sole, it is absolute garbage. In just a couple months of wearing these boots the sole was completely rubbed down to nothing. I'm young and have arthritis and tendinitis in my feet...I was hoping these boots would make it easier, however, they make my feet hurt really bad by the end of the day. I love ariat, but this is not a good boot. They fit perfectly, the zipper is nice and heavy duty, they stretch to your needs, unfortunately they fall short on a few important factors. I'm a college student on a budget, but I'll be looking at the pricier ariat boots.

Very comfortable
I'm an adult novice rider... been using hiking boots till now when I take classes. So far the scouts have been a big improvement. Very comfortable even without my custom orthotics. And they've made it easier to keep my heels low. Easy to put on and pair with the half chaps. I didn't have a problem with sizing chart... fit was fine as received.

Very comfortable!
Had to replace my old faithful paddock boots after the sole tore off. Looked for a reasonable boot at a price I could afford, found the Scout Boots. Great for schooling!

Needed to break in for a few days as expected, but great afterwards! Very comfortable, and I am on my feet managing a barn for 8+ hours a day. Great value.
