Ariat® Monaco Field Boot is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best I have a pair of these that are ready to be demoted to practice boots so I wanted to replace them. They were out of stock, then ultimately discontinued. I tried in every other brand in the store & nothing felt like Monacos. Luckily Dmartpak came up with a pair in my size and after searching & waiting for 5 months, I had my new boots in 2 days! Soft, grippy leather, gorgeous Spanish cut and very little break in to be done. Love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are grat boots. For everyone saying these boots don't last, you are crazy! I have had a pair of the "original" Monaco boots for over 6 years. I ride in them EVERY ride, three times a week, 6-10 show weeks per year. After 6 years they are just starting to have some damage along the seams, but other than that they have held up absolutely beautifully and have no tears or other blemishes. I am just now starting to consider replacing them. The break-in time was not fantastic, but now they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I can walk around the horse show in them all day and my feet are happy. I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO Complaints I use them almost everyday and nothings wrong I have had these this show season and they have lasted! I am a very short rider (5'0) and they are the only boots I have found to fit my calf without circulation loss too my toes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken zippers after less than 20 rides Splurged for these beautiful boots with the intention of them being for shows only. I've taken great care of them; on right before I get on, off as soon as I get off, never abused. They failed me this weekend and the zipper blew out just as I was getting ready to show. Vet wrap saved the day but shouldn't happen for such expensive boots. I've contacted Ariat to see about replacing the zippers but haven't heard anything back. Splurge elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just say NO to Monacos! I have worn Ariat field boots as my "everyday" boot for at least 10 years. Prior to ordering the Monacos, I generally went with the Crowne boots and had few complaints (except the pesky old zipper problems). However, during a holiday sale I decided to "upgrade" on this last purchase...and I totally regret it!I have been using these boots right at 12 months. I ride an average of twice a week. This has been my experience with the Monacos...These boots never fit as well as the cheaper ($600 range) Ariats. I wear a 9 slim and they are too wide in the ankle, especially after the boots dropped. The break-in process was terrible. I had raw heels for several months (and I still get a random, periodic blister from them a year later). The zippers, while still intact, are very difficult to unzip (especially once you reach the little leather flap designed to protect your heel from the zipper). I often have to hold the boot between my knees and pull HARD with both hands just to unzip them to put them on. Taking them off can be equally interesting.Icing on the cake here, at 12 months of (light) use, I now have holes on the inside of BOTH boots where the seam is separating in the calf area.Save your money, and your time (breaking in bad boots is a total waste!!), and go with something else. It's an attractive boot, but so NOT worth the price.
