Perfect farm boot

Fantastic boots!!!!
I bought these 3 years ago and they are still going strong. INCREDIBLY comfortable. I have problem feet and usually have to have orthotics for my feet to be comfortable, these are more comfortable than most of my footwear that has orthotics in them. They are truly waterproof, I have not had to do anything to "preserve" the waterproofing. I feed my horses (2 large drafts) every single day where I have to walk out in their pasture and have walked through deep mud and water puddles without a single bit of wetness inside. I have also taken them on vacations where I've done tons of walking around cities and find them more comfortable than sneakers. I am a true 7.5 and ordered the 7.5, they were true to size. I often wear thick wool socks and they are not too tight, but also work well with a thinner summer sock. Worth every single penny! I'm ordering a second backup pair today just in case Ariat ever discontinues this style.

measure your foot, don't use size from old boots
I made the mistake of looking to my old boots for the boot size, and the boots I got were too small. I measured my foot according to the size chart and I have ordered a full size larger. I am looking forward to getting them! The comment that they run small is because I used the wrong thing to size them. I have worn Ariat boots for many years.

So Comfortable and Durable!
I am a fan of the H20 leather and I'm glad the new Heritage 4 paddock boot is offered in this waterproof finish. I wear my paddock boots every day and the waterproof, thicker leather finish wears and lasts longer than that of the standard boots. I particularly like that the sole and heel of this boot were upgraded! It has a grippy, textured, patterned sole.
I’ve worn Ariat boots for years, (western and english boots) and these don’t disappoint. They are true to size and they're comfortable right out of the box--no break-in necessary.
I wear them as a casual boot as well as at the barn. I love these boots. Perfect for rough tasks and then, after a wipe down with a cloth, transitioning to a run to the grocery store.
They are perfectly waterproof in the rain or if I am bathing my horse, Lucky. Although they are waterproof, they are a full-grain leather upper, not a synthetic. They have the classic Ariat Paddock boot look with all the bells and whistles everyone has come to expect! Amazing soft leather, brass YKK zipper, Durattread outer sole, and the 4LR footbed for comfort and support.
I highly recommend these Ariat H2O Paddock Boots!

Peace of Mind and All Day Comfort
This is my 2nd pair of Ariat waterproof zip paddock boots, and let me twll you, I LOVE THEM!! I can ride and walk around in these all day long, without my feet getting tired or wet. And I love the way they fit my ankles. They are not wuper wide like some of the other zip paddock boots out there. My favorite boot to spend the day at the barn in!

Can’t go wrong
This is my second pair of Ariats. I upgraded to the waterproof style. Comfortable, durable and lives up to Ariat’s reputation. The fit is true to size. I have slightly wide feet and still remain remarkably comfortable. The leather is excellent quality and there is padding at the top of the ankle.

Love them
These boots are exactly what I needed in a paddock boot- comfort, durability and water proof! I am rough on paddock boots between turnout, stall cleaning and bathing my old boots didn’t hold up as long as expected. Since purchasing these my feet have been dry and happy. It took about three rides to break them in across the top of my foot but now they are as comfortable as can be.

Quality boots
My last pair of Ariat paddock boots lasted 20 years! I love their boots, the only thing I would change is a more ergonomic footbed. And these boots truly keep out the rain. If I had just one choice of riding boots, it would be these.

Comfy and Protec From Demon Hooves
The first time I wore these boots I hated them because they rubbed my heel raw. After that first wear they have been a dream—just as comfy as my Ariat Cowgirl boots.
I decided to write a review because today a horse STOOD on my foot while I was wearing these boots and of course my foot is sore, but other than that it is fine!
When the horse put her hoof down my entire riding career flashed before my eyes. Okay the perpetrator was “only” 15.1 hands and she didn’t jump or stomp on my foot, but I’m still grateful for my boots and all my toes.

As good as my last pair
Purchased these to replace my 10 year old pair and they will serve nicely. They will require a bit of breaking in around the top but a good pair of boots and we're perfectly waterproof in the downpour today. Happy with my purchase.

how do you care for these??
I just got a pair of the Heritage IV Zip H20 paddock boots. They fit OK, a little stiff, but that should improve with time. I would like to know what special care these boots will need, as they are supposed to be waterproof. Does that mean they have a waterproof lining, like Gortex, or is there some special treatment done to the outside? Thanks for any help.

I wish this boot came in wide. The fit is exactly as advertised. Because it's leather, I know it will stretch to fit, but again, I wish I could've ordered a wide as these are a bit snug. I can only hope the sole doesn't detach from the sides as a result of the pressure my wide feet exert. My old Ariats (this is my third pair) had a wider sole but I could not find a similar offering this time around. The gel sole is very comfy and suitable for walking long distances. The boots do not alarm when going through airport TSA checkpoints, which is a nice feature. Ariat makes a wonderful product.

Super comfortable boots!
I always live in my ariat paddock boots and these are so comfortable right out of the box. This is my first waterproof pair and they're a little bit hotter to wear in the summer but it's nice to not get wet feed when I'm bathing my horse.

Waterproof is great
After nearly 20 years I had to say goodbye to my beloved Dansko paddock boots. Dansko no longer makes them so Ariat was one of the few choices. These are not as comfortable, nor as protective but they are fine and being waterproof is a great feature. A bigger toe box and lower ankle would make them even better but that is just what is comfortable for me.

Best boots!
These are hands down the best paddock boots out there! I live in a state where riding and working horses in wet conditions is a constant. So having a boot that can withstand puddles, mud and a lot of wash rack time is a game changer! My feet stay dry and I can get work done!

Great product all around
I've been using these boots at work on daily basis and I'm very happy with the choice I made. Very comfortable boots (I have wide feet and do a lot of walking at work), no smell - unlike other footwear that has weird odors due to materials from which are made of and poor manufacturing process. For some people the price might be a little "intimidating" but I can assure you, you're getting what you pay for.

Beautiful fit!
I bought this to give my arthritic ankle With an arthritic ankle, I needed support and comfort. I have a high arch & these boots are great These classy boots enable me to walk normally, no hopping around. They are so smart looking we (the boots & me) encounter many compliments every time I wear them. I have a pair of these for the barn and a pair for the street.

So far very happy with these!
Haven't had these boots for very long so I can't comment on the durability but I love everything about them. Padding on the back of the ankle area and the soft insole make them very comfortable to wear. I'm between size 8 1/2 or 9 for some boots so wasn't sure what size to get, but went with the 8 1/2 and I'm happy I did. So you may want to go down half size rather than sizing up. I can even fit a thicker sock in there for cold days. My feet are narrow and the medium width fits great. Zipper holding strong so far!
