Great fit

I have trouble finding boots to fit my wide feet (7.5 wide), but these were pretty comfortable out of the box. After a short break-in period & I was able to wear them all day without any problem. The sole seems kind of thin on rocky ground, but overall I am happy with my boots!

Comfy boot that is great for riding! I actually bought this style because I gained weight during covid and zip up boots are now a bit snug on my calf. The lace up option was perfect for me to be able to adjust the size as needed. The sole of the boot is also very comfortable.

Great Boots!
I absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable and look clean after riding as the material repels dust. I have slightly wide feet but they don’t pinch me. This pair is a 9.5 I may order the 9 wide next time as they are a tiny bit big. I will certainly order these again.

Comfortable from the start
Comfortable from the start. Now, if only I could find a way to keep the knot in the shoelaces from loosening and coming undone. This is my second pair. Sending off first pair to be resoled since I have worn them about hundred times since purchasing 1st pair in October. In themeantime, I am able to wear this new pair in brown.

Classic beauty meets all day comfort

Quality has declined. Very disappointed.

What happened to ariat??
Ariat's quality is horrible now. I have been riding in ariat boots my entire life and a pair of their paddock boots used to last me 3 years or more of daily hard wear. Right when I took these boots out of the box I could tell something had changed. The leather was so thin. After less than six months the leather of these boots started to disintegrate and seams split open. I've talked to many other riders who also noticed the change in quality. I've switched over to treadstep Ireland and am never buying another pair of ariats

Beautiful design. Durable and comfortable
I have reached an age where I refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes. I wanted a pretty sturdy shoe to wear out. This boot does it for me. This is a beautiful and comfortable boot.

Quality has improved!
This is my third pair of Heritage IV paddock boots. The leather in this pair seems heavier and of a better quality. The precious pairs were comfortable because the leather was soft but they didn’t hold up well or hold a shine. I think this pair will last longer and I will be able to successfully polish them. I spent a day tromping around the house in them to break them in and have been comfortably riding in them since.

This is my 2nd pair in 20 years!
This is my second pair in 20 years! Yes, that's how AWESOME these boots are! They're BUILT WELL, BUILT TO LAST!!! I just wish that the tongue/gusset section were as well-padded as the Nitro model. The Nitro does appear to be more comfortable, but the Heritage is def more stylish. Please combine the best of these 2 boot models to arrive at a better product. For example, the Heritage is much more stylish with its shiny exterior and nice even color - the Nitro has a weird, funky heel, and just on that alone I decided to stick by my Heritage model.

Not true wide!!!
Although the boots are very nice, the "wide", regardless of what the Q & A says, are NOT really a wide. Don't waste your time and money on these. Look somewhere else-but that's not an easy task! They were returned after trying on.

I have been wearing Ariat boots my whole life and they usually last me a good four years of daily wear. Ariat's quality is horrible now and these boots started cracking and the stitching came apart after only a few months. Do not buy these boots

Great Boots, Not Wide Enough
I've been trying to find a pair of paddock boots that will fit me and be comfortable after three surgeries to correct bunions. These came closer than anything else, and if the C fitting came in brown, I probably would have kept them. But since they weren't quite right, and it didn't, back they went.

Problem with the Ariat toe cap
The toe cap cuts across the widest part of the foot. I have worn Ariat paddock boots for many years but have had to replace them after only a year or so because the stitching at the toe cap comes loose. The boots are otherwise in good shape but must be discarded due to the split. I guess it is good for Ariat to sell more boots but I am disappointed every time. If the toe cap was moved off the widest part of the foot by even half an inch, I believe the problem would be alleviated.
