Great Warm, comfortable boots but tight at calf
These boots are super comfortable and really warm. Wore on a riding trip to Iceland. Only complaint is that they are too tight around the calf, I was barely able to use the top snap without discomfort and I have average calves. These would be perfect if they were a little more adjustable at the top. If you have a muscular calf... forget it.

So warm!
Wore these boots today to try them out during a lesson. Temp was 70° ish. They are so spongy comfy when walking and riding. Very roomy, so if you have thin calves you can adjust them. I will wear ankle support next time due to an injury.

Great boots
Just received the boots and love them! I have used them once and they are comfortable.
I seem to have problems finding tall boots that I like. I’m 5” 5”, wear size 11 in shoes & weight 130. I’m stocking build and have thick calves for working out all the time.

Slightly disappointed
I Absolutely love these boots, I wore my first pair out and needed a second!
However, Im a little disappointed in my newest pair as the stitching along where the leather meets the rubber portion on the sides where the foot breaks over of each boot is pretty poor. The rubber seam is even separated.
It also rubs along the backside of my heels, which my first pair never did.
Unfortunately, these boots wont last as long as my first pair and sadly I will be pretty hesitant to purchase again.
Overall, I love the product, but for the price I would expect the quality to be better than what I recieved.

I was hoping they would be better for the price
They are overall okay, not a fan of the suede on the inside of the leg. The inner boot part rubs on your heel and the leather gets stuck in the zipper and is impossible to get out. They are warm and waterproof. You can definitely find a better boot for the price.

Very warm!!! Zipper fussy at first.
LOVE these boots. They are great for riding and for my construction sites. Waterproof and oh-so-cozy warm. The one drawback is that the zipper was very tricky at the ankle for the first few wears. After that it smoothed up and now is easy to zip.

Great Boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Live my boots. Keep my feet warm and dry. Only complaint was the zipper on the right boot was very stiff. I initially had trouble zipping and unzipping the right boot. I worked with the zipper over a weekend and was able to get it loosened to the point I could zip and unzip with the boot on. I’m am very hard to fit and Ariats are the best fitting boot for me I have several pairs.

A winter must-have
I love these boots! I am so glad that i got them. Warm, comfy and great to ride in on cold winter days. I was so tired of having to drag around 2 pairs of boots..problem solved. I am 5’3 and do wish they were a little taller for wearing in the saddle but other than that perfect!!

Best winter boot EVER
This boot is simply the best winter boot ever. This is my third pair. I wear them every day in the winter, all day. I manage a small barn and ride 2-3 horses a day. They wear extremely well, very warm, super waterproof, and you can ride in them. They gave great traction too. I won’t buy any other boot. Please don’t stop making these!!!

Doesn’t seem waterproof
I love the fit and look of these boots and would have rated higher but I can’t say they are waterproof. I walked thru some water in these ( they are new) and I could feel water seeping into the boot - got my socks wet🙁 so beware of that

I LOVE these boots. They are not only warm but very well constructed and waterproof for days. I ride on average 3 times a week. Always a different horse. Sometimes I hack, sometimes I'm in a serious disciplined lesson, and other times just fun drill team. I'm by far no means a "professional" rider nor into showing so for me these boots are fantastic. Worth every penny. All of my footwear for riding has been Ariats, my oldest pair is 10yrs old and I couldn't be happier with the brand. (Mind you I take super good care of my boots even if they are not show worthy, I clean them and store them properly)

Perfect for wet and muddy Oregon
These were a gift and they fit perfectly. The recipient was excited about having warm and waterproof boots that were comfortable for sloppy days at a horse facility in Oregon. She tested them out walking the dog in the rain.

Very nice boots!
I absolutely LOVE these boots! So comfortable that riding in them is like riding in my regular paddock boots. Plenty of room in the calf area for extra socks (altho i do have skinny legs...). Pretty warm too. They did get a little wet inside when walking around in wet snow today, so i'd say they're not completely waterproof. (That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.) Still, for most days, they'll do just fine. Very happy i bought them!

Calf Closures Non Adjustable
My boyfriend had bought me these boots Christmas of 2021. The material quality is decent, and the lining on the inside is super soft and warm. The foot size is perfect, women's 10.5, runs a little bigger than Ariat's typical fit but also allows for thick socks. The foot and ankle area is a little bulky and doesn't allow for a lot of flex. About 4 inches up from the bottom the zipper on one boot gets stuck most of the time, and the calf closure on the other one is too small. The calf size is great up to the last 2 or 3 inches where the sizing drastically changes and gets so tight that you cant finish closing them, and I do not have large calves. The uppers are not adjustable, the top adjustment loops are pretty much just there for looks. I tried to ride in them without snapping the tops, but the zippers ran down mid ride and my boots filled with snow.
This is unfortunate because these boots are expensive and I had really been looking forward to riding in them. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed in an Ariat product.

Need to be taller and smooth at the top.
The boots aren’t quite tall enough to fit my long legs but it would be nice if they weren’t so bulky at the top. The red rubber band closure makes them not suitable for foxhunting which is too bad because they are very warm. I miss the Bromont pull on style without the zipper to get caked with snow and ice. My zipper falls while I am riding but the top snap stays in place.

Poor quality
I'm on my 4th pair of these. The first couple were great and lasted all winter. The last 2 the quality has tanked. I got a whopping 2 months out if my last pair before the stitching came out at the sole. What has happened to ariats quality?

Great but I wish they made a wide calf
I really love these boots, but unfortunately they don’t fit the tops of my calves. I weight lift so my legs are a little thick, and I wish they boots were either taller so that they could clasp just below the knee or that they made a wide calf version. I’m very disappointed that they don’t fit because I really love how they look and feel.

Great Riding Boots
I was torn between these and another brand, so glad I went with these. Can’t beat real leather and clean lines of this design. Very comfortable to wear at the post or canter. The left calf is a little tighter than right but it could be my legs.
