Ive went through quite a few of these blades. I have not been able to get even one of them to last through 2 body clippings. My horses are clean and I frequently oil during the process. I have been body clipping my horses for 2 years. I could probably use some pointers from a pro, but Im a little disappointed. These are the only clippers and blades Ive ever used for body clipping so I do not have much to compare to.

Great for body clip
I opted for these over my usual 10’s for body clipping this year. A little bit longer hair worked out great for my guy and blended right into the small
parts I did with the other blade. The wide design made clipping pretty quick and they stayed sharp enough to do my horse with one blade (I did legs and head with the usual slimmer 10).

I want to like this blade...
Got through one side of my clean rather fuzzy draft cross and the blade started to dull... I was able to get through the other side but my poor horse looks like he was attacked by a lawn mower. I will be re-clipping with another blade.
Blade would be great if it didn't dull so quickly.

They just don't get the job done.
I have bought three sets of these blades and I want to love them. I really do. I like the extra width for body clipping, and I like that they leave the hair a bit longer than a No. 10 blade. However, I could finish only about 2/3 of a (very clean) horse before they gave out. I have switched to using No. 10 blades for body clipping. These will get me through almost two horses, including legs, before getting too dull to continue.

Excellent Blade choice for any clip job
I have this blade for my clippers and the barn I board at has the same clippers and two of this blade, they are the only blade I use to clip. It leaves hair just longer than a #10 blade and while I have to say I do get track marks sometimes, I think it is more from the age of the blades than design and functionality. They stay cool long enough to clip one quarter of a lesson pony and with a spray of Kool Lube cool down pretty quickly. I use them on legs and ears as well, I just use the end piece that sticks out, very good for the many curves and swerves. I like using it on feet and lower legs as it leaves hair 2.5mm long and keeps that protective hair barrier there against scratches. Makes clipping a breeze and I recommend keeping a few of these blades on hand so you can quickly change them out and keep clipping.

Get in the hard to reach places
I have a big Shire-x mare who needs a total body clip due to her heavy coat at least three times a year. I hate the awkwardness of the huge body clippers. I saw a demo of the Andis clipper with the t blade at Equine affaire and decided to give it a go. It's a great blade and really makes getting into all the nooks and crannies pretty easy.

Dull Quickly
These blades are great as far a ease of use. They don't leave lines and make body clipping easier. The only caveat is that they seem to dull very quickly. If it weren't for that, I'd gladly give a five-star rating.
