Worst blades I've ever used.
I rarely, if ever, write a negative review--but I often check the lowest reviews on something I'm not sure about. So for those of you who want to know the worst possible aspect of a potential purchase, be forewarned: I've body clipped my horse for years running, I've always used Oster blades on Andis clippers. I figured this year, I'd go for the Andis blades, since the T-84 offers a decent width and hair length.
I bought two of these blades because I like to switch them out when they get warm, rather than spraying and waiting to cool every time.
I was working on a pristinely clean horse with fine TB hair. Not much of a winter coat. The blades were okay for his neck and shoulder... but they absolutely choked on his legs. From there--it just got worse. About 1/3 of the way through, as another reviewer said, the first blade was shot; just leaving horrible haggard lines in his coat.
I switched to the second T-84 blade, because I had left my blades from last year at home (blades that were still sharp enough to clip with, just not brand new, so I didn't take the chance). Well. The second blade finished the clip... sort of. By the end of the job I was using muscle power to get the blade to perform an action that even moderately resembled cutting.
His coat looked like he'd been sheared with a butter knife. Every year I've clipped him he glistens and gleams a lovely dark bay, so shiny that people have to ask if I even clipped him. This year he looks horrific. His coat is dull, uneven, there are track marks, and I had to switch back to a two year old #10 Oster blade that I used for day to day cleanup and use often to finish his legs because it was STILL sharper than the Andis blades. I feel bad for my horse, but in a month or so, he will start growing in his new coat, and this will all be in the past as a lesson learned.

This has got to be the best bodyclipping blade out there! Works with the quiet and light weight andis clippers for a body clipping finish. Prefer this to my heavy duty body clippers!

Perfect for Body Clipping
I have been using this blade on my Andis 2 Speed clippers for just over a year. I body clip several horses with these, and even though they aren't a large blade, they really get the job done! They cut the hair the perfect length and I can use them on the entire body as well as face and legs. I use one blade for several full body clips, and the blade stays good! Always keep a backup though, because when these dull, they do so suddenly and without warning.

So disappointed
I was really looking forward to body clipping my horse with these this spring, and it went great for the first 1/3 of her body. After that the blades went so dull they wouldn't even try to clip the rest of her. I didn't let them get hot and I kept them oiled so this really disappointed me. I have body clipped her twice with oster and wahl #10's without any need to sharpen them, I wanted something that would leave her coat a bit longer and that would take less time to clip with. Instead I got less then half a horse clipped. Maybe it was my set of blades but then the company really needs to work on quality control.

difficult to put together
maybe its just me but when I took these apart to clean and put them back together they wouldn't cut. I am sure its just an adjustment but I watched the online video on how to do it and gave up and bought a new blade. If I don't take them apart and separate them I am fine... Cut well, do a great job on large body areas. I still use smaller blades on legs and head though

Fantastic
I use these to clip my horse who somehow manages to grow a double coat several times a year, after several years of not replacing them or caring for them properly, they finally conked out this year. They still powered through and clipped my horse fairly well. They don't pinch or catch the hair, even at their dullest, and left my horse's coat shiny. I use them on my Oster A5 clippers and get a beautiful clip ever time.

Doesn't cut the horse
I clipped my whole horse with one of these blades and I was totally fearless going around his elbows and ears, because the edge of the blades is rounded/blunt and won't cut the horse. My horse even took a snooze half way through the clip!

The wider blade is just what I need
I have arthritis in my hands and holding the big heavy clippers in order to clip my horse has become very difficult...so this wider blade is just what the doctor ordered :-) I can use my normal clippers and get the job done much faster! Works great on my Standard Poodles too.

Good clippers
Not sure how much you can say about a replacement blade, but they are a good price and I love the clippers they go with. I could tell it was time for a new blade because the hair wasn't cutting as easily. I used these for a full body clip probably 5 times before needing to replace.

Great blade!
I love this blade! I use to body clip and get beautiful results! I would not recommend for a really heavy coated horse although it does a great job to "finish" after clipping a heavy coat with say the gold handle Oster's... I love the Andis clipper line!

Great Matching Product
This product matches perfectly with the longer clip of the larger Oster clippers. I use the big clippers for the body and then these for the legs and face, and the change is seamless! No more pressing lightly with #10 blades, or specially ordering dog clippers to match! Great idea! And the wider blade makes clipping the larger surface area quicker.
