Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily cuts through thick fur I switched from a "weaker" pair of Wahl clippers to these for trace clipping and found them lighter and easier to handle. The cord is ample length for an average size horse but you might need an extension if your horse is larger (read: further away from an outlet). The 10 blade cuts through thick winter fur easily even on the slower speed setting.
