Help for my itchy dog
My Border Collie suffers from dry skin and the scratching that goes along with dry skin. I have tried different types of foods and topical treatments to no avail. I added the Deep Sea Salmon Oil to his diet and less than one month later I am already seeing a difference! His skin is less dry and the itchiness if definitely decreasing. This is a great product!

best salmon oil tried
I have used salmon oil as one of my supplements for joint and coat care for several years. I have liked the Deep Sea Salmon Oil as it is easy to dispense, my dogs love it and the cost is reasonable. Also Smart Pak does an excellent job with shipping in a timely manner.

Shiny, silky smooth coats!
My dogs love this! My puppy "talks" to me if I've scooped out her food and have not added the salmon oil in a timely fashion. My older Lab, who is finicky about food these days happily eats once the oil is on. I have noticed their coats are so shiney and smooth that my husband thought they had just come from the groomer one afternoon. The shedding on my Lab has diminished somewhat. I've tried other products, including the pills and this is just so much better and easy to use!

capsules too big for chihuahua. I tried squeezing liquid in her mouth. She gagged on it.
Cant really say how it works yet. I am giving them to my larger dog but have to force her to swallow them.

Wouldn't Use Anything Else
This is the best salmon oil product I have tried. The ease of use of the pump bottle is superior to the messy pour bottles. The dogs who get capsules always eat them right off the top of their dry food.
My dogs shed less and are so glossy. I have used other salmon oil products that do not this result.

Unbelievably effective!
I cannot begin to tell you what a difference this product made in our dogs' coats. Shedding is down by at least 2/3 and the sheen is fabulous. Easy to give the capsules...they love it. Thank you, thank you for offering this great product.

Adds shine
I've been adding this product to my beagle's meals for about 6 months. I've noticed her coat feels softer and has a healthy sheen. She still sheds, perhaps less than before using this product, I'm not sure? She loves the taste. I prefer the liquid to the capsules since the bottle is easily stored in the refrigerator. I gave 4 stars on palatability because the smell is really strong when first pumped out of the bottle... dog LOVES it though.

I am using the salmon oil for a cat with skin problems & a dog with joint problems. I have already started notice clearing of the skin for the cat in the 2 wks. Given once a day.. Will have to get back about the dog. Hoping to see my cat have clear skin again, so is she.

Salmon Oil Pills
The Deep Sea Salmon oil pills were very easy to administer to my two dogs one of which is very pill shy but with a little soft food put on the salmon pill she took it down. My other dog loves anything and thinks its a great treat. I really have not noticed any reduced shedding but we are just on our first bottle. I have read that salmon oil is alot better than some of the other "generic" fish supplements.

Inexpensive way to improve coat quality
It was only $4.20 in Smartpaks, so I gave it a try for my very sensitive-skinned Min-pin cross. After several weeks of using this product, his coat is rich and shiny, and not brittle at all. And that's with a couple baths in there (We went on some muddy camping trips). He also loves the taste when I pour it over his food. You may not like that it's in pill form however. It takes a little practice to break the pill and not make a little mess/ lose some product. Overall though, I love that this is a cheap, effective way to help my dog's dry skin. I would also recommend it to anyone who just wants their dog to have a nice shiny coat.

almost immediate shine to dog coates
I have only been feeding this salmon oil to our two dogs for three weeks. There is already a sheen to their coates and no dry skin. We have a long hair min. dashound, and a shetland sheepdog. They love the taste.

Great Skin and Coat
I have a Standard Poodle with Sebaceous Adinitis that would cause horrible discolorations along with hair loss, This product has helped in reducing her breakouts and her coat is looking better than ever.

Still Waiting for Results
I bought this product based on the recommendation of others. My doberman have VERY dry skin. He's on a quality food and Prozyme. While he's scratching less frequently, his skin is still dry and flaky. It's only been 3 weeks, so I'm hoping to see further improvement.

Easy Addition to Kibble for Dogs & Cats
No odor, easy to dispence coat supplement for my cats and dogs. I saw an improvement in dander within the first week of use. Simply pump a small amount onto dry food and get the benefits of wet or canned food without the mess. I feed Royal Canine and it seemed the perfect adjunct for a well balanced diet.

Wonderful product
I have been using the capsules for a couple months now and have noticed my lab's coat is softer. I have not seen a reduction of shedding though. I am hoping to see that soon! My dog has no problem taking the capsules. I like the fact that this product is organic and am happy to know she is getting health benefits from the oil and will continue to use this product for years to come.

Dog LOVES Them
My dog uses the capsules and loves them. She trots off with it in her mouth like it is a wonderful little treat. Her coat immediately looked shinier and felt softer. We had added it to her diet in hopes of helping itchy skin. I do not notice an immediate change in her itching, but we are continuing to use the product for her coat and skin health.

Down The Hatch!
It took my dog a few days to figure out how to eat the capsules. We decided to puncture the capsules and pour the oil over her food. This got to be quite messy and a pain, and so we just gave her more time to get used to the new capsule in her food. Within about 4 days she understands what it is, and actually gets very excited to eat it. She treats it like a special treat, and trots off with it to eat it alone, like she does dog biscuits and chews!

What a difference!
My hot spot prone lab loves the flavor of this. Two squirts on his food and he chows it! His coat in just two weeks is SOFT and Shiny. He has stopped the itching, and has begun shedding MUCH less. My vaccum thanks you! His coat looks like the epitomy of good health. You will not regret this purchase!

High quality oil
High quality salmon oil- we have used this product for the pat year with our two dogs. The bottle is so much easier to use with the pump than the caplets that you have to cut. The coats of all our dogs look great! Highly recommended.

first time with supplements
I was a little nervous about my dog accepting her salmon oil supplements as she had never eaten 'pills' before when not disguised in cheese, etc. But she takes her 2 salmon oil capsules every day like they're a treat! And her coat has never looked better.

Easy source of good quality fish oil
I have been giving this Salmon oil to my 3 dogs (2 corgis and a lab) for nearly a year now and it has made a difference in the quality of their coats. I like the liquid pump - no counting pills, I just sit the bowls on the counter and go down the line. It is pricier than using generic fish oil capsules, but the quality is better and I don't have to get my two slow eaters to eat them. The lab and one corgi just eat around the capsules. But the dogs look great, and my old ones seem sound and active.

Great Product... Pets love it
I can't believe we didn't know about this product sooner.. We have a 12 year old Siberian Husky Male... and every Winter he would get an extremely dry nose to where it would crack like bad chapped lips... We tried putting things on the nose and it helped a bit.. but of course, he would always lick it off. Well, finally a my friend, who also has Huskies... told me about this product and we started using it and this year his nose stayed soft.... I will never be without this product...

My dogs go crazy for this! I have tried several brands, but this seems to be their favorite :) The pump bottle makes it easy to dispense and keeps my fridge clean. This keeps my hounds' coats so shiny, you can almost see your face in them!

EVERY Dog Needs Fish Oil!
And this is a very high quality choice. For small dogs or picky ones, I recommend the liquid vs. the capsules. The bottle comes with a really high quality pump. Just be sure to keep it in the fridge. You can also feed it to cats!

Hard to Chew
I tried to give this to my 15-pound Havanese, and she couldn't bite through the tough plastic shell surrounding the Salmon Oil. I ended up having to cut open the capsule, and pour the oil over her dog food. Once I had done that, she absolutely loved it, but having to cut through the shell created mess and more work than it helped. I would recommend this product for dog owners with bigger dogs (and bigger teeth!), but not for owners of small dogs like mine.

Superb!
I give this to my greyhound and cat who both adore it. My cat actually cries if I forget to include it with his breakfast. No more flaky skin and both their coats are thick and shiny. Great product!
