So far, so GOOD!
I have been using this product for less than a month and seems to be working wonders! My horse would not eat it at first (she is typically not a picky eater) so I was thinking about returning it but decided to try adding water so it wasn't quite so dry, with the water she ate it no problem! I haven't had any problems having her eat it since and in the little time she has been on it her overall energy level seems much better!

The ONLY thing that helped this mare!
My TB mare has always been a hard keeper, but we went through a particularly rough patch a few years ago. I was given a 30 day supply of Total Control by the manufacturer's rep at a trade show. I can't even tell you the difference this supplement has made in her body condition. She filled out completely, gained muscle and shines a metallic copper color like I've never seen. I've used it on my riding horse and had the same results. Better energy, shine and muscle tone. Highly recommended!

Amazing Supplement
Generally, I like to give a supplement at least 30 days, but I have seen such a significant improvement in my horse that I couldn't wait. My mare will be 19 come February, and in the past year, we have rotated through several types of supplements trying to get her healthy - for energy, joints, hooves, red cell count, coat, you name it. We are only 10 days in, but my once slow and sluggish horse is now forward, alert, and alive (but not spooky!). In the past week, we've had some of our best rides ever. Even my trainer was impressed in our lesson yesterday at the stamina and energy she displayed. I will come back for a follow up review on the effects of hooves and coat, but for now, this one is keeper for us!

Great Results!
I was using a different supplement that was causing my horse to be kind of loopy, equivalent type product. As soon as I switched to total control, he looked just as healthy and felt just as great but he was able to focus on his work much better!

All in one supplement
I started Dior WF on Total Control after I received a free sample.
This product covers everything he needs and more!
Stomach-joints-feet-electrolytes and his coat is so shiny!!!! I'm very pleased with this product and he eats it all up! I have seen a difference in him overall

Better hooves and tail!
I got this as a free sample at an event in October. My farrier hasn't seen me the last few trims but I was at the barn the last time and he asked if I had been using a different supplement....I replied yes and he said he could tell that her hooves were much healthier! I also see a huge difference in her tail growth ;0)

My horse did not like the taste at all
I can't really give this product a review as I never could get m horse to eat it, I moxed it with sweet grain even and the he wouldn't eat the grain.

The product was recommended by my horse's trainer because if provided all the the essentials needed for my gelding physical well being. Vitamins and minerals that contributed to improving and maintaining his joint and hoof health.

Very pleased
I'm very pleased with Total Control. My horse eats it just fine (he is a picky senior Thoroughbred) because it is quite sticky and binds to his grain. He is shinier, more alert, and his hooves have improved dramatically. I had the luxury of being given a month sample from a friend first to ensure he would eat it. Although the price is high, I couldn't be happier with the results :-)

Difficult to use and not palatable
I couldn't get my horse to eat this and he isn't normally a picky eater. It also gets really goopy when left in feed bucket. It's very sensitive to outside air so really need to keep it sealed well.

Total Control
The best all-in-one supplement out there. Extremely palatable, my mare will lick it out of my hand if I let her.
Finish Line produces some of the purest supplements on the market. To have the ease of using them in SmartPak's as an all-in-one makes feeding time neat, clean, and knowing that my mare is getting the best. I have recently added Finish Line Thia-Cal to my Smartpaks......
The days of having 4-5 separate buckets is over!!

Changed my Horse!
This is an excellent supplement! I used it on my paint gelding and the results were STUNNING! His hoof condition greatly improved, his coat looks fabulous, he is bright eyed and energetic, and he has put on a lot of muscle.
We've used this supplement on several other horses at the barn and they all had similar results. All the horses eat it right up! My gelding will occasionally leave some of it beind after breakfast but will usually finish it with dinner. He is a picky eater; he does not want to eat any supplements the first few days he gets them, but I just soaked his food with it and now he eats it dry.
Would definately reccomend this.

My horse won't eat it..
I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this product from friends, so I decided to give it a try! But that is the only reason it got 2 stars.. I got this supplement in my smartpak yesterday and neither of my horses will eat it or even touch their grain! It is still laying in the feeder in a pile as if it contains the plague... :(

Excellent for an all in one
I used this for my horse for a few months as a recomondation from my trainer who used it at Grand Prix barns. Unfortunatley both my horses are picky about powder but all the other horses at our barn that are on it love it. Great if this has all the supplements you need in it.

Surprisingly-picky eater approved!!
My TB is the pickiest eater I have ever met and finally here's a great all around supplement that he will eat!!
I've noticed improvement in his sensitive ulcer points as well as strength in his hooves.
The added vit c has kept him healthy while his neighbors had the sniffles.

Not for me
My horse is not known for being picky but wouldnt touch this stuff. It also is very difficult to keep fresh as if you put it in their buckets when setting up feed and it sits for a length of time, it turns black and gooey as do the leftovers in the feed bucket. Have to feed a lot of this product so suggest splitting it out over two or more feedings. My horse gets very little grain so the amount of powder this supplement added didn't work for me. Hard to tell if it would have worked or not as I feel he never was able to test it since he wouldn eat it.

Awesome Stuff
I have tried Total Control by Finish Line several times over the last few years. Each time I have been pleased with the results. My horses eat it and always look and feel great on it. I had one horse that came in for training and in just a few weeks he went from underweight to bloomy and better looking than the other horses on my place that weren't being supplemented.
I decided to try it on my good barrel horse because she really needed help in a few areas and Total Control seemed to fit the bill. Also, the price seems to be less than other combination supplements. She eats it right up and is looking and feeling great so far.
I also have to say I love SmartPaks because they keep the supplements much fresher and I am less wary of the fats in my supplements going rancid.
I will be keeping my mare on Total Control, I think I have finally learned my lesson that I love this product!

Excellent all around product
My 24-year old TB was on a ton of different supplements because I could not find one that really did it all. This one comes very close - now he only gets this plus extra MSM and magnesium. He gets a mash at night so eating the supplement is not a problem.

Not worth it.
I placed my 12 y/o all-around AQHA mare on this product when a friend began jumping her a couple months back. She has never had joint issues before nor has she developed any, but the only way I can get her to consume this is to make a mash with hay cubes and her grain...and this is my horse that would eat cardboard if you gave it to her and told her it was yummy. I was hopeful that a multipurpose would be the key for her, if it is, this is not the one.

Waste of money for me
Semi-picky eater of supplements this year, but had a real problem trying to get him to eat this. Even tried using strawberry syrup on top of his feed. Only fed him half the full day serving at each meal. He'd eat the grain and leave the Total Control in the bottom of the feeder (Total Control on top of grain).

love it but please make in pellets!
i absolutely love this product, all of my show horses are on it and look like a million bucks. The only issue I have are that my picky eaters don't like the powder and it just settles to the bottom of their buckets. Is there anyway they can make a pelleted version as well? A+++

Great value...extremely effective
I purchased this for an aged retired horse in my barn with obvious inflammation and most probably gut issues. He showed signs of improvement within 10 days and now after a month, is truly kicking up his heels with his new sense of well-being.

It doesn't clump like the product in a bucket. My picky horse loves it, and the others try to get a bite including a VERY picky donkey. I love it as it is so easy. I don't have to think about how much my horse is getting, I just dump it in, and know he is gettint the right amount. I wouldn't buy total control any other way and will buy all my supplements from Smart Pak if they carry them. Excellent on customer service, product, freshness and easiness. Thank you

Great for Seniors, too!
I've been feeding Total Control to my 29 year old mare for four months. After speaking with my Vet I give Synnie a half dose ( 1 scoop ) daily. Total Control has made a huge difference!

Wow! Perfect for your competing horses
This is THE product you need for horses in serious competition. It covers all your bases and is quite palatable. The horses I've used it on have just blossomed and I believe recovered faster from hard work as well. I last used it with a young TB who came to me with sratches, a recently blown hoof abscess, 300 pounds underweight, and a dull attitude. In a month, with the help of good high fat/fiber grain and quality hay, he looked and felt like a million bucks. Definitely worth the price for your athletes. As a caveat though, I do think it's not a good choice for horses in light or no work as it gives working horses energy to spare.
