I bought this b/c my 20yo horse has a breathing issue. It's not serious, just a cough or 3 when he begins to trot, then he's fine for the rest of the ride. It does seem that he coughs less than he did before I began using Jiaogulan, and I've been using it for about 3yrs. My horse has always had extremely good feet - he's never been shod or lame, so I don't see a difference from the Jiaogulan. I gave 4 stars b/c he does still cough a little.

My 20 yo gelding suffers
My 20 yo gelding suffers from IBH. Started him on the Jiaogulan powder along with Spirulina from Uckele. Been over a month but so far seems to be helping. An added benefit of Jiaogulan is to assist with possible laminitis. He's a big stout, cow bred QH whom I've owned for 16 yr. He has no issues with eating the supplement. Thanks Uckele for great products.

I use Jiaogulan powder for my OTTB who is a high/low with impaired circulation in the low hoof. The combination of Jiaogulan and excellent rehabilitative farrier work has corrected the circulation issue to the point that there is no longer any detectable digital pulse and his performance has improved significantly.

Made a difference
Seems to make a difference. My gelding does not stock up anymore, and is much more active. My mare that had foundered now has normal looking frogs

Helps my old horse
I decided to try this on my 22 year old gelding that tends to get footsore in the winter here in Maine. He's been getting it for a month now and he is getting around so much better. He's much more active and perky.

Must supplement for any older horse. Jiaogulan given with uckele chasteberry extract has greatly helped my mare that has Cushings. J-herb is the one supplement I can't do without

My veterinarian had suggested that
My veterinarian had suggested that I try this product to help with my horses right front issue, as he had seen good results in others, and It does seem to have helped with circulation and less heat and he is moving better. I also noticed his breathing is much better, at times on the trail he would sound like a locomotive coming up from behind, this was a pleasant surprise since I was really focused on supporting the foot with the product.

Try Jiaogulan for breathing issues.
I thought I'd try the Jiaogulan because I have a horse with breathing issues and I needed to purchase something to get my order into the free shipping zone. I have been very happy with the positive results incurred from giving Jiaogulan to my 18yo gelding. His breathing is definitely improved.
