Only Supplement I Use
I mix this in with my horses' sweet feed and they don't even notice it. Their coats are absolutely beautiful year round, manes and tails long and luxurious, feet are healthy and they are full of energy.

Great Product
I have a 29 year old Tn Walker and used to keep him on Source all the time but changed to another product and he still had issues so I and just placed him back on it and he just feels better after 6 days already since he is getting what his body and hoofs need. He is a real picky about eating supplements in his feed but he likes Source's taste I assume as he eats right up every time. Great Product

Best supplement ever!
We have used this product for many years with all our horses and it's amazing. I am an herbalist by trade and find this product very natural and excellent for all our horses. Vet even remarked at how healthy and beautiful our animals are and I credited it to this supplement and she agreed. Well worth the price as a little goes a long way and it's value in a healthy horse is beyond price.

MY MOTHER AND I SWEAR BY THIS PRODUCT!
Just good ol' Source is the best product anyone could ever invest in!!!! Are your horse’s hooves cracking or throwing shoes? Put them on just regular Source nothing fancy and in a year (a horse’s hoof wall takes 6 to 12 months to grow out from the Coronet band and be a completely new hoof) your horse’s hooves will take a turn for the better. This is said by a farrier of 24 years. Need a shiner coat Source will make them look like that show horse again! Source will help horses with many issues because it helps them use Minerals and Vitamins they are already receiving in feed. Please look at Sources website to learn more about the process that makes this product so great!!

great supplement
I have been giving my mare this for the past 4 years. It is easy to give, economical and provides nutrients she may not be getting from hay. Her coat shines and her feet are great. She likes the flavor and i plan on giving it to her for the rest of her life. Unlike vitamins, this is actually a food source of nutrients, which is better "used" by the body. My horse has been the picture of health since I started it when she was 3 years old.

11 years and going strong!
I put my OTTB mare on Source when I purchased her in 1999 (she had just turned 4) and she's been on consistently throughout her life. Not only is she always one of the shinest & healthiest horses in any barn we've ever been at, but at 15 it still takes 10-15 minutes of galloping to get her edge off so she can focus (no pun intended) on her work ... that's why she's also on Easy-Mare.

Lifesaver!
I came out to the barn one morning to discover that my horse had been bitten in the sheath and stomach by a rattlesnake. His left hind leg swelled to the size of a tree trunk from stifle to hoof. The skin was stretched so tight that his chestnut was literally pulled out of his leg. He made it through but his personality changed, his heart could not tolerate heavy exercise and most strangely, he started growing and shedding coat almost every other month. Each time the coat grew in more strangely, the hairs would go in a thousand different directions and get longer and longer, almost five inches on his belly. I researched the internet on rattlesnake bites and discovered it can affect all the organs in the body but could not find anything remotely relating to what was happening to him. By accident I came across an article discussing the thyroid gland and how it can affect all body functions and how it needed iodine to be nurtured. Well, his body functions were definitely affected and I had tried everything else with no success. I remembered Source from years ago and knew that it had a lot of quality iodine. Within a few months of using Source his coat started to return to a normal length, direction and shedding cycle. His personality became calmer and less agitated. He still cannot tolerate strenous exercise but he is fine with normal activities. I truly believe without Source he would not have made such a recovery. It is truly a lifesaver for my horse and will always be a part of his supplement program.

Great product
I've given Source to my Morgan for years. I think it helps with his Insulin Resistance condition. SmartPak with their free shipping offer has been a great help. SmarkPak's customer service is GREAT! Very helpful and nice people.

Good product, so-so taste
Love this product for my horses, IF I can get them to eat it. Does wonders for their coat, digestion, hoof, and overall appearance. Took me a few weeks to get my picky eaters to voluntarily eat Source with their grain without any additional toppings to blend it in.

Great Supplement
I have used this product for my horse for over ten years. I took him off it briefly a few years ago and quickly noticed a change in his coat and overall appearance. He has been on it since. Source is a great all around supplement!

Every horse needs this!
I first started using this when my husband's uncle, who is a vet, breeder, and eventer, recommended this to me. What people don't understand is, even if you are feeding your horse the most expensive food in the world, it is still lacking in nutrients!! Foodstuff is grown in the dirt. Due to current farming practices, erosion, etc., the soil has been drained of key nutirents that cannot be replenished by simply fertilizing. Where do these nutrients end up? In the ocean! It may sound silly, but seeing is believing. Once I started my horses on this, the "bloom" it put on them was incrediable. My hard keeper was no longer hard to put weight on, their coats, hooves, and attitudes made a complete 180. Did not make them hot. My horse and any future horse will never be without it. You can't beat the price either.

Thick Soles, No Lost Shoes and No Hives
I almost took my horses off of Source until some very big changes took place in two of my horses that I noticed 8 months after putting them on Source. My 19 yo DWB has problematic feet - thin sole, shelly, lost many shoes, etc. My farrier said on his last visit how much thicker my DWB's soles are, and I didn't notice until he made this remark that my horse hasn't thrown a shoe yet this year. Also, my thin-skinned 6 yo TB mare got horrendous hives last summer which could only be controlled using steroids. She has not had a single hive this summer yet, and it's the middle of July. I was feeding the powder source, but switched to pellets for its ease of administration.

If you try it, try it with SmartPak
I worked for a time at a show barn where every single horse just gleamed with good health. The owners credited Source as the single most important factor, and I'd heard the same thing elsewhere numerous times over the years. When I got my horse, the first supplement I tried was Source, and the results were....underwhelming. He ate it but didn't really like the taste. I was able to get the same "gleam" with daily grooming and regular exercise. Source may benefit horses who are deficient in trace minerals (particularly iodine), but it's no more a "miracle food" than anything else on the market. If you're going to try it, though, between the sample program and the price you can't go wrong with SmartPak!

Good but not my favorite
My picky eater does eat this, but it doesn't seem to work as well on him as other people's horses, based on reviews here. He was on it for almost a year, and has been off for several months now. I will try it again and see how he does. I've always heard good things about it, but just am not satisfied with this particular horse. The price here is cheaper than anywhere I've been or looked!

Love this stuff!
I have used Source for my horses for about 30 years - since the earliest days it became available on the market! I like how it helps them keep weight, have strong hooves, good immune systems and great stamina. I've never known it to make a horse "hot" and is truly an economical source of trace minerals.

Wonderful Product

I started giving this to my 22yr old tenn. walker I noticed that he was losing weight this spring and that his coat was not as shiny as I like to see it. I was concerned about adding anything to his grain because in the past he would stop eating his grain and I would have to give him a different type. He ate this well and I noticed that he is starting to put some weight on and his coat is looking better after 2 weeks on this supplement.

Great Product
I have been using Source for years. It contains micronutrients that have helped my horses skin and coats enormously. Both of them have had skin problems in the past, but not now. They are the best looking horses in the show ring, always. I highly recomend this product.

Second Chance
I tried this product several years ago at a friends suggestion and now that I think back the particular container I bought (from a feed store) must have been stale--my horses and I did not like it at all. After reading about brown algea and fescue (fescue pastures here), I decided to give it another try. Besides, I have been trying to find a mineral supplement on which both both my horses do well and helps to keep them from eating the sand in the paddocks. This batch is fresh and delightful and my horses love it; I think its a tad salty. They've been eating it for only a week so its too early to tell how it will fit in their diets--I'll keep getting it for myself in any case. Smart Paks price was cheaper than the local feed stores even after adding shipping costs.

I have used this product on all of the horses I have owned. Their hooves are great, their coats have an intense shine, they are overall glowing w/health. I would never eliminate this product from my horses diet.

I was recommended this product by my farrier and I think it's great for the value. I started using it for her feet and not only did improve the quality of her feet, she also looks great. It has made her coat softer and shinier and has just improved her overall appearance. I feel like since it has so much stuff in it, she is getting everything she needs.

Quite Pleased with Results
I had been using Power Horse, but it is prohibitively expensive and with 2 horses in this economy I just could not afford it any longer.
I am absolutely satisfied with the Source micronutrient product. My horses, ages 22 and 7, are sleek, shiny and healthy.
I love the SmartPaks, they make my life so much easier and are delivered right when I need them!

Wonderful Supplement

WOW!!
This product has done nothing but good for my 20yrs old mare . Her coat is soft and shines like never before . Her weight has picked up and her hoof are stronger and she has spring in her step. You can't beat the price !!!

Years of success
What a great product. I started using SOURCE in the late 80s and have found that even 20 years later you can't beat this product as a general "tonic" for horses of all types. Most recently I used SOURCE for a severely neglected QH mare obtained from a rescue. Despite months in rescue she was still about 200 pounds underweight and covered with rain rot. When the Farrier came back for her second trim (6 weeks later) he could not BELIEVE this was the same mare. She had gained weight, her hair was better, and she had picked up general condition. This was the second rescue we had helped condition with SOURCE, what a great product for a great price.

Absolutely AWESOME!!
This is by far the best overall hoof supplement I have ever used. We have used the original source since the early 90's with great success! Any of our horses who have poor hoof health have NO PROBLEMS with their feet while on this product, their coats GLEAM and their attitudes are GREAT!! When we first began using this product we actually had to take one our belgians off it because her feet became so hard our farrier had a difficult time trimming her feet, whereas he never had the problem before. This is a great product for overall health and is AWESOME because it doesnt contain a novel of ingredients and its reasonably priced too!!!

Great Product
I have been feeding Source to my horses for over 15 years and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a great overall supplement and benefits the youngsters as well as the older guys. The only downside is the packaging for the 5# container - all the literature is stuffed inside with product, making it difficult to extricate without spilling Source all over the place.

I've had my 13 year old paint mare on it for about a month, and it seems to be working. Her white spots are shiny, and even the 'black' spots are growing dark again. She seems to be getting new hoof growth quickly, and her attitude has changed, thankfully. I really like this product, and she will be on it for awhile.

GLOWING Review!
I have certainly found a product that my horses will be on FOR LIFE! Do you know what the best part is? That I will NEVER have to use a coat enhancer to make my horses "shiny" for shows ever again. They just absolutely glow. Even our Tobiano Paint's white areas are bright and beautiful. Our QH did not bleach out in the sun as he did in the previous year either. They have never had a problem in eating it either.
