Great for senior horses
I like to boost my senior horse's immune system, particularly in the Spring. He is an easy keeper and I don't feed much grain. This product is great for maintaining his nutrition. His coat looks particularly nice this Spring and I am sure it is due to the Thrive Pellets.

My senior loves these!
My senior horse and I love this product. It's a great choice if you have an older horse that is an easier keeper like mine. Since he doesn't get all of the nutrients he needs from his smaller serving of grain, these pellets help fill in the gaps. I really like that this product is specifically balanced for retired senior horses like him. He has been on this supplement for several years, and he looks and feels great! His overall health is excellent at age 26, and I feel good knowing that this product is helping to ensure he gets the nutrients he needs. Highly recommend for any senior horse who is on little or no grain. Even though my guy can be picky, he eats all of these pellets without any issues!

Great supplement for my 30 yr. old gelding
Been using this for about a month on a 30 yr. old gelding i recently acquired. He has some issues chewing hay. I feel good knowing he is getting the vitamins he needs through this product. He eats it readily with no problems!

Picky Eater Approved!
After years of trying to disguise supplements for my picky pony, we have a winner! Colby won't even lick a salt block and thinks sugar cubes are disgusting, so I was thrilled when he ate the SmartVite Thrive Senior Pellets out of my hand then begged for more. smells really Bad
very strong vitamin smell.,Was keeping it in the house, but had to put it out with the grain.I also soak my horses grain, it smells even worse when wet,so that feed, I just feed 1 quart dry.If you have a fussy eater, I have one out of 5,they probably won't eat it.

Seems to be working
My mare was the picture of health until she turned 19. Then we had coughing, limping and multiple abscesses. I wanted something to help her immune system. My results weren't drastic and didn't happen overnight, but everything that I was worried about is slowly getting better.

Great Product!
I saw a difference in my horse's coat and attitude within 2 weeks, amazing! My mare is a Morgan and gets fat just by breathing air . . . proof because she is a picky eater and turns her nose up on most supplements. But, she likes SmartVite Thrive and eats it right up. Prior to starting her on Thrive, she was on DCarb Balance and Farrier's Formula Double Strength, but she still had super dry skin (dandruff in her mane and tail and dry spots on her shoulder and hip) and her hooves were still dry and cracking. Because she gets fat so easy and has foundered in the past, I have to be careful about turnout and feed. She has a big turnout area, but cannot go out on pasture to get the "good stuff" because of her condition. I used the Supplement Wizard and it suggested adding SmartVite Thrive. She has been on this for 2 months now, and she really looks great. I highly recommend this product if your horse is lacking essential vitamins and nutrients.

Totally confident horse......... priceless
This product combined with the Smart Tranquility has transformed my 18 year old gelding from a nervous, afraid horse with zero confidence into a relaxed joy to be around!!
Due to the heat I have only ridden him once, but was amazed at how calm he was.

Good product, poor availability
I switched my older mare to this product after using Accel Lifetime for years. I like that this is a pelleted product, as she gets almost no grain & she thinks the supplement is food. She eats it well and is doing well on it. My major problem is that now it is unavailable until November. Smartpaks are great, but...... is it better to stay with a supplement made by a national company so you have consistency in what your horse receives on a daily basis? I'll have to think about that.

Seems to work!
I bought these for my two geldings (15 and 16 years old) that have hay three times a day and some grass pasture. They are at a boarding facility and the grass pasture just wasn't enough for them. My 16 year old started to lick anything and everything (even me!) when he never had before. Made me wonder if he was vitamin/nutrient deficient somehow. Anyway, they have both been on these for about three weeks. They eat them right up like yummy goodness. The 16 year old has stopped licking everything - so I think they are working!

My mare would not eat it
My mare is an easy keeper, so I wanted to make sure that she was getting all of the vitamins she needed. I tried this with her for weeks but she just wouldn't eat it!

Wish I could give more stars
I ordered this in SmartPaks after speaking with a customer service representative, and she recommended it for my senior senior gelding who is not out on much pasture and doesn't eat a full serving of grain. I wish I could rate higher, as it seems like an excellent product, however my old man refuses to eat it: as soon as he smells it, he turns his nose up and refuses to touch his entire ration. I've tried to disguise it every way I can think to do so (wet grain, different types of grain, hay stretcher, mix with carrots, apples and peppermint, and even the SmartPak Equi sweet) with no success. He's in good health for a senior citizen, just pickier than picky. For those not super picky eaters out there I'm sure it's a great product, just not a good fit for us. I guess we're just going to have to continue searching for a palatable substitute for my old guy. As always, SmartPak was terrific in making the recommendation and super fast shipping.

Yummy Vitamins
Recently I started my 18 year old gelding to the SmartVite Trive Senior pellets. He looks and feels great and the best part (according to him) is that they taste yummy! How do I know this? Because he gobbles them right up instead of sifting them out like other supplements!

I bought this for my retired 28 yr old gelding & he eats it with no problems! It seems to give him just what he needed to compliment his wholefood diet & I love that no iron is added since horses get plenty from hay alone.

I am on my second month of SmarkPak for my horses and I wish I would have started feeding SmartPak from the beginning. My gelding is 16 years old and I feel better knowing he is receiving the vitamins to help keep him healthy. I am very pleased with everything SmartPak has to offer for my horses.

Basic senior vitamin
My horse was on smartvite performance when he was younger but as he's aged and is semi-retired, I felt that he needed a more basic, senior vitamin. It seems to be working. He eats it right up without grain, as he did the smartvite performance.

Balanced vitamin supplement!
I bought this a few weeks ago because my horse was low on energy after being in a dry lot with hay rations for 45 days to lose weight. Her blood work showed she had metabolic syndrome ( diabetes for humans). She lost about 150 pounds. This supplement has given her energy again at age 26 and she loves the taste! She wants to get some exercise now and move! She is back to flirting with the geldings!
