Didn't work for my mare
This may very well be a great product, but it didn't work for my extremely nervous, spooky mare. I really feel it's more the horse than the product, unless you too have a extremely nervous, stressed horse. If I had a less extreme situation I would absolutely give this product another chance.

Works great!
My horse is so much calmer now, but definitely not a dead-head. I bought in response to a choke episode my gelding had. Since being on SmartTranquility, he is much more laid back, and hasn't had an episode again.

Helps take the edge off an anxious horse
I used this on my 23 year old paint mare for a cross-country move that I knew would be very stressful for all involved. We started a couple weeks in advance of the move and have now continued it because I think it really helps take the edge off her anxiety. She was relatively calm throughout the trailering process and the overnight stopovers, but when she got to her new home, and wasn't with her buddies, she was calling, pacing, and digging for a few days. So don't expect this to be a miracle drug (especially for buddy sour horses), but as for a mild calming effect to take the edge off, I recommend it and have decided to keep her on it for a while because she is still getting used to new herd mates and being trailered different places, which makes her a bit anxious.

Happy horse

Really worked for stall rest

Works well
I am on the second bag now works so well. I was going to sell the horse that is now using this product and it has worked so well on him that I really enjoy riding. Helps him to focus and process rather than just react. Allows him to learn.

Best supplement ever!
I bought this supplement four months ago and have seen amazing results! I bought for my 8 year old rescue that has lot of anxiety and is very nervous. He couldnt stand stiil in the cross ties or be left alone without freaking out. Since being on the tranquility he has done a 180! He stands quietly in the crossties, stands still in the
aren and under saddle. He is no longer herd sour or budy sour. He is so calm. He's a total different horse! He is so much happier and worry free! Ne is loving life! Highly recommemd this supplement! It has changed his life and mine forever!

Good
Tried for 2 months - So my Tennessee Walker Thoroughbred cross is either super dopey calm, or opposite end of the spectrum running around like a crazy man from spastic anxious fear. This supplement has definitely made him focus more, which helps bring him back during his anxious states. I won't say its a game changer, but it has helped some. I'm going to try the other smartpak calming supplements and see which best works for him.
Con: He was wonderful around leasers and small children during the whole trial period, but starting supplement initially for first week or two made him food aggressive with feeders and giving hay in stall (tried to bite someone) which is wayyyy out of character for him. He's never been aggressive once before. I think it stopped after week and a half though.

Great product!
Thank you for offering such a wonderful product! My OTTB mare has been anxious since I’ve gotten her.
I put her on SmartCalm Ultra pellets a few years back & that helped somewhat, but, not nearly enough. She could be very resistant & difficult when I rode her, & never seemed to be very happy. Then I saw SmartTranquility pellets on my Smartpaks app. There were several glowing reviews (Hope!)
I started adding 1/2 of the recommended daily amount of SmartTranquility and it’s now been about 3 weeks. She seemed to be happier & the geldings didn’t seem to make her as “wigged out” as before.
I rode her yesterday - the first time in weeks - and it was as if I were riding a different mare!!
She relaxed almost immediately (dropping her head to stretch) & was good as gold doing figure 8’s and circles.
My mare seemed to enjoy our time together as much as I did. I’m thrilled ... and grateful!!

Life Changer
I got this for my OTTB who is afraid if his own shadow. It has been a game changer, he is way more relaxed, calm and mellow. It took about a week to see the changes, but have been worth every penny of this product.

Excellent product!
I bought this product to replace another valerian-based calming supplement I was using. I wanted to see if it worked, and was looking for an easier to use product. The other was powder which was a bit of a hassle. These pellets are extremely palatable to my mare, and no worries of the powder being ignored at the bottom of the bucket! Valerian doesn't usually smell good, but these pellets smell great! These pellets work well at keeping my mare more calm and level-headed. She's the nervous type who's always looking for something to spook at. It relaxes her enough that she can focus on her training sessions and for us to both have more enjoyable rides together.

herbal calming
Overall my horse seems pretty relaxed. He still gets startled at small things. He doesn't seem anxious in the stall which is good. It could be that he is just herd bound, but he still has an issue staying calm when he doesn't see other horses.

Amazing product!
My Arab gelding was on stall rest from a tendon injury and was getting Smart R&R. When I started riding him again, I couldn’t believe how relaxed and focused he was. I didn’t think about the Smart Tranquility being in his SmartPak’s, that is until I switched him back to his regular supplements. I noticed that over the course of about 2 weeks, he had gotten very nervous and dancey and acted like there was something to run from every time I asked for a trot. When he reared up and spun after seeing cows on the trail, it dawned on me that I had changed his supplements. I immediately reordered the Smart Tranquility and within about 2 weeks or so, I had my focused, relaxed horse back. He is so responsive and confident that I can finally take him out on trail alone and not worry about him overreacting at every little surprise Thank you Smartpak for making such a wonderful product!

Two horses Two different Results
This is the second time I've purchased this and got such different results for each horse I thought I'd write a review. The first time we purchased it for calming my daughter's large pony who, frankly, has the devil in him. He's extremely aggressive to other horses in the pasture and gets way to hot under saddle. after a few months of this, he was a zombie! Totally different animal. We took him off and tried some others that might not be as strong but they had zero effect and we started working him more. The second purchase was for my OTTB who suffers from extream anxiety and ulcers. He's just worried all the time. He's on ulcer supplements but I wanted to see if this helped him by just taking the anxiety away or at least lessening it thus reducing his stomach acid production. He seems much happier! He's not a zombie but the pinched look of worry around his eye is gone. He still has get up and go but its calm and not frantic. It wasn't enough to make him chill at a schooling show-he still got amped up but I feel like he's doing much better at home and on the trail.

Totally works!!!
I bought this about a month ago as my mare was getting very hard to handle. She gets a mare supplement but tranquility has really decreased her anxiousness, spooky ness and has improved her overall willingness to work and behave!!!

My horses are sane
I’ve been using SmartPak Tranquility for a couple months now.
Before, my horse was over-reactive to the slightest stimulus. Made training, hacking, and any interaction more than a headache.
Now his brain is back, and he’s a pleasure to work with and be around

Jury is still out
I'm on month three of the Tranquility pellets and I'm not sure yet that they are helping. in fact, I've been tempted to call and ask if there have been cases of horses getting even more wound up on this than they were before. But then again, it's winter and windy and maybe that's what's happening. I plan to stick with it at least 2 more months. I'm hoping DJ will be calmer out on a ride. I'm clicking stars on the low side, but I wish there was a "haven't decided yet" because I am still hopeful that this will work. If they do, I will be SO appreciative!

A noticeable difference!
My OTTB was prescribed 6-8 months of stall rest due to multiple tendon tears. It was imperative that I find a calming supplement to help alleviate the anxiety of being locked in a stall 24/7. My horse was getting increasingly anxious about having to stay in, so I decided some sort of intervention needed to occur. I knew that he didn't have a dietary deficiency in Magnesium, so I ruled out many of the calming supplements available rather quickly. To confirm my selection, I spoke with a smartpak rep, who explained the difference between a nutritional calming supplement (magnesium and Thiamine based) and an herbal one. The herbal one made more sense for my boy, and I'm glad I chose it! Maxwell has been on SmartTranquility for a week and half now, and after the first week I noticed a HUGE change in his demeanor and acceptance of stall rest. He doesn't call out constantly when horses are shuffling between turnout, he just munches his hay and peeks out once in a while. Impressive changes!

It Works :)
I needed an anti-anxiety for my horse when he was in his paddock. A large logging company was clear cutting near his paddock. Tranquility pellets has lessened his anxiety. Logging company is still working near hi. He is much happier now :)

Amazing results
Started my Appendix mare on these a month ago. She is so much more relaxed and able to focus on her training. Less anxious. She was always quiet but would become anxious when being worked. This is the only thing that was changed in regimen. Even my farrier said she seemed more relaxed.

Surprisingly helpful
I just started my Arabian Horse on this product about 10 days ago. He is basically a courageous guy but is hypersensitive. I was surprised how using this product has helped him to settle down enough yet still remains alert and normal.
