Works!
Let me start by saying I am very negligent it writing reviews. I rarely take the time to complete them. I am so impressed by this supplement that I feel I simply have to write one. Last year I ended up managing my OTTB’s allergy/ hypersensitivity symptoms with 10 tabs of Zyrtec daily through October. I decided to look into different allergy/ immune supplements on the market and opted to go with SmartImmune. I started it in March before I expected to start seeing his seasonal symptoms. It has worked beautifully. He has not required any Zyrtec. His eyes are not watery, his itching is less severe and his reaction to bug bites is much milder! Wow, I am amazed at how perfectly this has worked! Thank you Smartpak!! Keep up the good work

Unbelievable
My horse is extremely allergic to bug bites. He swells up with hives (even with being drenched in fly spray) that, within a couple days, break open and ooze. Usually by this time he's on two benadryl per day with minimal turn out. He's been on this product for two months and he's no longer getting oozing hives from bug bites! He's not on a benadryl regimen either and he's outside with a fly mask on for 8-10 hours per day. I'm in complete shock! He will be on this product for a long time and I'm so glad he has relief from his allergies!

Smart immune pellets - prevents sarcoids!
I have had my Arabian gelding on smart immune pellets for approximately 7 years. Prior to that, he had a sarcoid in his ear and on his side which were removed. My vet suggested this smart immune pellets to help boost his immune system. He hasn't had a sarcoid since! And my horse gobbles it up in his feed with no problem. I highly recommend this supplement!

I decided to add this to a couple horses' diets for a couple months. I just wanted to help boost their immune systems. One is being treated for lymes and the other just had a couple random things going on. Unsure if product helped at all, but makes me feel better knowing I can do all I can for them to recover as quickly as possible. No issues with them eating it.

Palatable for my picky mare
I bought these for my 18 yo Oldenburg mare who has Melanoma. She is super picky about meds and supplement tastes. She gobbles this one up without sniffing or hesitation. Her tumors have not grown and she feels well. She has been on them 1 month. I will continue them.

Can't tell difference
Wish I had some amazing update to post, but I can't see a difference. I was hoping it might help clear up some scratches that we have battled with for 18 months, never fully getting them gone. I am going to try Platinum Performance GI per my vets suggestion.

Sarcoid Shrinking - I think!
My horse has a sarcoid on the crest of his neck and after two weeks on SmartImmune, it's a bit smaller! Ordering more today to keep him on it and keep the sarcoid shrinking!

It's Working
I've had my gelding on this for just over a month on a recommendation from a friend. My horse has been suffering from a serious case of scratches & before this supplement I could not get them to stop spreading. Now the scabs are finally healing. Also seems to have improved his overall healthy. His coat is back to being shiny & sleek. Also he eats this supplement like candy, I give it as a treat to him or if in his grain he eats this first.

A Total Game Changer
Started my guy on this following an episode of un-explainable swelling in all four legs (we got that all cleared up with steroids, antibiotics, etc. etc.) He's what we like to call a "special" guy and is ALWAYS the one with scratches, cannon crud, hives, swelling, bug reactions... the list goes on [and on]. I spent a significant amount of time researching immune boosters, and settled on SmartImmune for the ingredients, the price, and all the positive reviews. We're on month five of SmartImmune and for us it's been a total game changer. Michigan has been out of control wet this spring, and we have *NO* fungus, scratches, hair loss, or big bug reactions. He's living his best life as a shiny, healthy, happy creature! Fingers crossed this continues to work, because as of right now, could not recommend it more!

So happy
I started my horse on Smart Immune pellets one week ago. He's a picky eater but has no problems licking his bowl. I wasn't expecting to see anything for several more weeks, so I was amazed to see the gleam in his coat so soon! We've been battling chronic persistent thrush and despite the perfect environment, farrier and vet care, any rain or snow would have us fighting thrush again. Our hope is that by treating him from the inside, we may finally see healthy hooves once again. Little Herc ("Hercules") is a 17 year old Mustang, and we all thank you for such a potent and palatable immune support product.

Great support!
One of my horses had a cough when I first got him. I thought it was because he was in a dusty barn all the time before I bought him. However, when he was outside for several months after, he still would cough, nothing bad but I wanted to help him. I tried a variety of different expensive allergy supplements and nothing helped. I found this while browsing one day and I thought I'd give it a go. I have to say it is fantastic! My horse has not had a cough, nasal discharge, and is having an easier time breathing since he's been on it. I'm very curious to see if it will help him with the hives he gets from flies over the summer months but I am very happy with this supplement. I also travel to shows with him so I like that he has some extra support during all of that extra stress.

A week before Golega, my Toby spiked a temp of 105. We treated him successfully but I wanted to help his immune system out. He had been on Traditional Chinese Medicine which has priced me out of the market so on recommendation I tried Smartpak. Toby is bright, energetic and feeling really good. Thanks Smartpak!

Great product
I take care of a 19 month old stud colt. He had a rough start with several colics at 7 months old. He also has had a heavy parasite burden. He is now19 months old with improved health but still bloated often and has extreme reactions to parasites. He has been on this product for 5 weeks with HUGE improvements. His bloat has significantly gone down and just seems to feel better! Thank you smart pak for supplements that you just can find for any issue!

Could lead to high Selenium levels
One of the ingredients in this is Astragalarus - an herb that can contain very high levels of Selenium. I had my horse on SmartImmune for several months and had his Vitamin E and Selenium levels recently tested. His Selenium level came out above the recommended range, and meanwhile he was low for Vitamin E. I reviewed all the labels on everything he was eating. There is Selenium in his normal grain (Poulin's Fibre Max) and Nutrena's Empower Boost. I can't strip the Selenium out of those. None of the labels of his other supplements (Smartpak Immune and Smartgut) indicate there is any added Selenium. I was stumped. But a quick Google search of Selenium levels in Astragalarus indicates Astraglarus could contain very high levels of Selenium that could lead to toxicity, if fed in high quantities. I took my horse off this product immediately and will retest his Vit E and Selenium levels in several weeks. A word of caution to anyone feeding supplements that contain Astragalus plus added Selenium supplements or live in a Selenium rich soil area and are feeding this supplement. An easy blood test can be so valuable to make sure you aren't causing any damage with supplementation.

Works good!
I have been using this supplement to help with my gelding's seasonal allergies. It has definitely seemed to help. The only complaint I have is he stopped eating it. Not sure why as he has been eating it fine for the past 4 months, but I ended up removing it from his Smartpaks for the winter. I am hoping he will be able to go back on it this spring, but we'll see.

Worked for us!
My 12-year old WB/TB Cross had an eye ulcer with bacterial & fungal infection last year, and we struggled with completely clearing up the fungal infection. My vet wanted to go get the eye injected with the anti-fungal (I had been using the high powered ointment for close to 6 months, but we could still see it in the eye, and were afraid if we stopped the medication, that it would flare); but I was really hoping not to have to go that route. I did some research, and decided to try boosting his immune system since he had also come down with a respiratory infection during this time as well. After about a month, the eye cleared up completely - and well, now he's "healthy as a horse". My guess was that for some reason his immune system was just tapped - which left him open to infections. I will continue to keep him on this supplement. Palatability is excellent - my boy is picky, and he loves it.

Supported Recovery from Reactions
We have a thoroughbred in our lesson program who notoriously reacts to random environmental allergens. It isn't one specific allergen and what he reacts to always fluctuates. We had been using dex (as advised by the vet) to treat his reactions, but it wasn't addressing the problem-- it actually weakened his immune system causing a more severe reaction. In an attempt to help improve his immune system development, we put him on SmartImmune Pellets. He's been on this product about a year now and the frequency and severity of his reactions has decreased significantly. We have had NO severe out breaks and only a hand full of mild hives which can be treated with cold hosing and vinegar. We've been very pleased with this product and have seen an obvious improvement.

I started our 32 yo gelding on this because he has an uncommon form of pigeon fever that presented 1 month prior. I feel like it is helping fight off this disease a little better with less stress. He's been a little froggy and has not been like that since getting the disease

Cleared up my horse's warts
I bought this because my horse was struggling with baby warts on his face/muzzle for months now. I even had a vet come and cut them off, but they just came back. So I figured my horse must just have a low immune system and I bought this. After 1 week on the supplement the number of warts decreased significantly, after 2 weeks they were finally gone. I will keep him on this for a little while, hopefully building up a more solid immune system. Great product, really works!

Effective for Rebuilding During Recovery
We have a lesson horse (15 year old Thoroughbred gelding) who has significant struggles with allergies and hives at certain times of the year. When he breaks out in hives, our vet prescribes Dex. While Dex effectively reduces the severity of the allergic reaction, it also suppresses the immune system. Our horse's system entered the pattern of allergic reaction, prescribed dex, allergic reaction, more dex, worse allergic reaction and so on. We recognized we couldn't keep treating the symptoms and had to try something different. We put him on SmartImmune to help build his system back up after this circular battle with allergies. He's been on it now for at least a year (I don't remember it exactly), but he has been doing great!! He's not had any major allergic reactions, he's not required dex and he's been happy and healthy! I'm not a vet, but I'm confident this product has really helped build up our horses immune system while he was recovering from that bout of allergies, and I believe it has also helped his body adapt to the allergens in his system. We are very pleased.

I purchased Smart Immune to boost my geldings immune system after he had an a swollen sheath. His sheath was already back to normal when I gave him the supplement, but I felt boosting his immune system would be beneficial. I love the ingredients in this product !

Helped through Quarantine
I put my mare on this when she went to quarantine post auction. She was very underweight and I was concerned that she may have been susceptible to whatever she may have contacted in the auction, and thought that a little immune support couldn't hurt. Thankfully, she came through her four weeks of qt happy and healthy. She looks fantastic now! I've taken her off smart immune to start some other supplements that I feel are more beneficial to her now, but I'm glad I gave her a boost when she needed it.

the Fungus has stayed away!
My imported warmblood is highly susceptible to Florida fungus and bacteria. I would clear it up just to have it return in the matter of a week. I could also never get rid of white line. I decided to attack this problem not only topical, but internally. He has been on smart immune for 3 months. The rain rot and seborrhea has been cleared and has not returned. My farrier is thrilled that even in the midst of hurricane and rainy season, we have the white line under control and almost eradicated. I recommend this product highly to be used in conjunction with topical treatments.

Chronic Sinus Infection Cleared Up
Antibiotic powder just couldn't seem to bring my gelding's sinus infection under control, and I didn't like having him on long-term antibiotics (Yes, he saw the vet. No, it was not an infected tooth). I started SmartImmune a month+ ago and finally he no longer has a snotty nose and gooby eye. Don't expect it to work immediately - It took a while to start working. I have started the elderly goat on it, too, and it seems to be helping his chronic upper respiratory problem. Both of them think it is highly palatable.
