TB Anxious Mare looks like new horse!
Hard keeper on my 27 year old TB mare. She can be quite anxious and after moving to a new barn I struggled to put weight on her. A friend suggested rice brown and I found this supplement. I am so happy with it, it's the best she has ever looked.

It actually works!
I own a 23 year old Friesian gelding and as he has gotten older, it's been harder to keep him at a healthy weight. He has a bad case of the old man teeth so getting nutrition from hay is hard for him. I was looking for something to add to his senior grain to add calories. At first i was using Nutrena Boost but it was not being made anymore. The lovely Annina suggested trying SmartGain. I am skeptical of supplements in general but was willing to give it a try. And amazing, it works! He has gained more weight on this than the Nutrena Boost, plus it's cheaper and easier to feed!

Always does the job.
I have used SmartGain on multiple Thoroughbreds multiple times over the years and it always puts on weight quickly without making them hot. I usually use it for about 2-3 months and then pull them off it until we end up needing it again. For my personal horse of 8 years I usually start him on it around February and pull him off of it in May. Needs a bit of extra help keeping the weight on after a long winter!

amazing results
My 27 yr old TB started on this a month ago. I had tried other weight supplements with no real results. Smart Gain has visibly changed his top line really fast. Yesterday I had to let his belly straps on his blanket out! He didn't like it at first, but is now licking it up. He has more energy, is playing with his buddy and is running around like a young guy. I am very happy!

My horse does not eat well
I started my 22 year old thoroughbred gelding on this in December. I have not been able to tell a difference. This supplement being a powder has a lot to do with this I think. Most of the time the powder is left in the bottom of his feed bucket. I have tried multiple methods of feeding this supplement but have been unable to get much in my horse.

Picky eater not approved!
I do like SmartPaks and how easy they are to feed. I had a lot of hope for this one but my horse will not eat it . She’ll sift around it and leave it entirely (even with feeding half or less). She’ll eat it only with a lot of applesauce or molasses on top but it’s not worth the added hassle! Sorry to say, but won’t be ordering again.

Horse wont eat it.
My horse wont eat this. He will dump his bucket and only eat the grain. When in the barn, he cant dump the bucket so he sifts through it and will literally leave the supplement. Must taste horrible. Looking for something else. :)

Senior Horse excellence
I have a 20 year old arab gelding who has been on this for almost two years now. Definitely have seen results. Feeding this along side some of his grain he is in tip top shape for a senior horse and I never worry about him losing weight. Never had a problem with him not wanting to eat it.

This stuff works!
Hands down, best weight gain supplement out there! I put all three of my horses on this and within a month I saw a noticeable difference. Now after 3 months, they look fantastic! Does not make them hot either. I too dress this on beet pulp.

Helped my senior horse gain weight
It’s been almost 2 months since I started my senior horse on SmartGain and I’m glad I did. He has been putting weight on and is looking good. He can be a slightly picky eater, but he likes this supplement and eats all of it.

My 29 year old quarter horse
I started Maverick on this a month ago. I have not seen any weight gain, but his coat is nice. He is up to date on vaccinations, worming (tested negative on fecal test) Grass hay AM, alfalfa PM and senior feed. I will have to give it a chance to work and see the results in a few months. And every month he gets a chiropractic adjustment and acupuncture, Legend injection and hoof trimmed and regular dental work. Check back with me in a couple months and we will see if he gains!

Good except...
I bought this for my 19yo OTTB and I have seen a bit of a difference in him. My only problem with this was that the scoop that came with the 2month supply was for 94cc instead of 60cc. Obviously I went through a 2 month supply quickly. I found this very disappointing as was the cs response.

Great ingredients
This product does work the only downside I think is that it’s only in powder form. Shadow hates powder and we have to hold his feed bucket to get him to eat it. We do coat his pellets with it but he is not a fan. So if it could be made into a pellet we might have a better consumption. We do see a difference In his overall mass but it’s definitely work getting him to eat it

Didn’t do much for my 10yo Ottb
I have a thoroughbred who I ride often / exercise often and I just don’t think this did the trick for him :/ He’s been on it for a few months now and truthfully I haven’t noticed a difference.. I would say try it and see if it works for you but speaking from my horse & his regimen it just didn’t do enough. I’m hoping to try something else from Smartpak that maybe is for muscle?

Palatable but did not help with weight
My horse ate this supplement well enough but did not gain any weight on it despite his feed regimen staying otherwise the same. After 2 months I gave up and added rice bran instead, and that did the trick.

My horse gained weight!
I bought this product a little over a month ago... I had changed my horse’s diet to a healthy one and he lost weight very quickly. I put him on SmartGain and didn’t notice the weight gain right away. I called smartpak, they explained to me how the product worked and to give it a few more weeks. Two weeks later, I retaped him for his weight and we are up 30 lbs! We still have more to go but thanks to Smartpak, we are heading in the right direction!

Easy to use but not seeing much progress
This is going on the second month of use. While my horse isn’t losing weight, he hasn’t gained either. Not really seeing any difference. Going to try a little longer to see if there’s any improvement.
