Much happier horse!
I've had a new horse for about 6 months now - when I first got him, I started him on regular MSM. He started getting more turnout, more TLC, and in general better care once I purchased him - but he was never completely happy. He would start out stiff, but always was very grumpy about transitions and moving out/relaxing through his hind end. Started him on this about 3 months ago, and I have a totally different horse - he's much happier, more willing to engage his hind end. I've also started him on SmartGut (he has a history of ulcers) - not sure if that is helping with his attitude as well. Very happy overall! As with everything in life - just wish it didn't cost that dang money ;)

Great Maintenence
I just started my horse on this a couple months ago, and it actually seems to work. She is never stiff when I get her out of the stall regardless of how hard of a workout she had the day before. Plus, you don't have to worry about her cleaning it up!

Keeps them going strong!
I have been using this product for a few years now. I have a draft cross that I ride dressage and he is a big boy. I feel that by using this product I am keeping him moving freely and pain free.

Too much Energy
I bought this product over a month ago for my reining mare. She was on SmartFlex I but decided to give her more joint/tendon support. It has since given my normally sleepy, clam girl way too much energy. She cannot focus in her classes and has declined in her scores. Although I do love SmartPak products, maybe just not this SmartFlex level for this horse.

Easy to include in daily grain!
The first time I included the Resilience Pellets in my horse's evening grain, he knew something was new and different but he quickly gobbled it up. He's been happy, healthy and active through the winter cold and damp. So glad to give this 22 year old boy a little boost to keep him happy and healthy.

Smartflex III, Still happy with the product
I've been using this supplement for the past 5 years. Originally purchased as a joint supplement for my Advance level eventer that previous to eventing had over 45 starts on the track. He showed a brighter attitude and was more playful in the field after starting on the supplement and continued competing at the upper levels until his retirement. When my vet suggested that I put my younger horse on a joint supplement as a preventative, I again choose Smartflex III. None of the horses have objected to eating the pellets which is always a relief.

So Far, So Good!
I've been using SmartFlex III for about a month now. My older mare (she's 22 now) in particular seems to be moving around better. She's a little more spunky these days.
It's a bit expensive, but I was able to consolidate two other supplements to justify the cost.
My horses gobble this up happily!

Love the pelleted brand!
I added this to my SmartPak a month ago because my horse began doing more jumping. After only a month's use, I feel like he is jumping better and pushing off the ground more. Wonderful product!!

Good formula!
My vet recommended I put my two TWHs on a joint supplement when I told him that both have slowed down ( 15 and 19 years old). I did some research and this SmartFlex formula was the product I chose. I've been really happy with the results. Both my boys seem much more comfortable and move out more willingly. I don't hear the popping and snapping like I used to with my 19 yo. My vet had indicated that whatever product I chose, I would probably need to double the dosage, so I doubled the dosage for a couple weeks even though it was not directed on the label and then took it back down to the regular dosage, and i feel that it is still working effectively. I would recommend this product.

Great idea but not one of 10 horses would touch it
I thought this would be such a great idea, but I tried it over and over and over on the horses I purchased it for and they won't touch it. Not mixed with grain, not mixed with cocosoya that they love, it doesn't seem to matter, they just won't eat it. They will eat other products.

I have an 11 year old performance APHA gelding with some arthritis that we us Smartflex III supplements to keep him sound. He is an athlete, and Smartflex III gives him support to go his job.

Only been one month
I started my gelding on this one month ago so it's too soon to really say, but I do believe he is going better. He is easier to get forward and more pleasant to work. Will have to see how he really is in another couple months but so far I like what it has done.

Love it
I first bought this product when it was suggested for my 8 year old barrel horse last spring. I really noticed that she seemed to be more comfortable and my equine chiropractor said she can feel the difference in her joints too. She sustained a stifle strain last fall and this supplement has helped keep her comfortable while she healed. I bought a OTTB this past winter and put her on this too, she now stretches out more and is super comfortable. I highly recommend this supplement for anyone who rides on a regular basis especially if you do barrel racing.

Bought this a few months ago for Magic, thinking just to see how he did. He has been off since late winter/ early spring for various reasons, the most recent injury being swelling in his tendon around his fetlock. Now being on this and having the summer off, Magic's legs are looking better then ever!!

Works very well for my older horse.
My 21-year old mare is still going strong because of this product. I was going to retire her as her aches and pains of age and arthritis were taking their toll but she has a new lease on life with this product! I noticed a difference the 1st week, but then it took a few more weeks for the full benefit to kick in.
I wish it were less expensive but you get what you pay for. The palatability question is funny (in my case) because this mare will eat anything.

It works!
I'm not sure why I doubted this product and waited so long to put my mare on this. The SmartFlex lll has really helped her flexibility and lengthened her stride back to what it was before she injured herself.
