Helped with ringbone
I put our 27-year-old QH on this after he sustained a ligament injury. He has had ringbone for at least 8 years and was stiff to begin with. After his soft tissue injury healed quite rapidly, he's moving better than ever, so I'll keep him on this for good. It's affordable and effective.

life saver for arthritic mare!
My mare has been on this product for less than 30 days and I already see a huge difference! My 24 year old retired barrel mare has very bad arthritis in her knees and was having trouble getting to her feet in the morning after laying down all night. About 10 days after starting this supplement she has been able to get right up in the morning and is getting around A LOT better! Highly recommend this product!

This product is AMAZING!!!
I have a miniature horse who is 5 yrs old. The lady who had him before, her full size horse kicked him and she never had him checked out by the vet. So his stifle is now fused to the outside of his leg.
We did estrogen shots but the wore off after a while, and are pretty expensive.
This seems to be the BEST joint supplement he has been on.
He is just a pasture pet and cuddle buddy, but I still hate to see him out playing on 3 legs.
On this he doesnt limp or anything! As he is only 31" tall so he gets a half dose and that does the trick. I will NOT be taking him off this supplement!!! He seems much happier!

Helping with ringbone
I allow my horses to live as naturally as possible and I am skeptical of supplements but SmartTLC has been helping my older gelding with his ringbone which makes me happy.

My horse was diagnosed with navicular disease. Between the corrective shoeing, the osphos shot and the SmartTLC Pellets we have a new horse! He's happy and moves out freely. Its a relief when you find the right combo of joint and exercise. I am happy and most importantly the horse is happy.

Works well for my senior.

It works and is picky-eater approved!

Great Results
I have two older horses that both suffer from arthritic changes in their feet and ankles. I have been using this product for almost a year and it has offered great results in their mobility. While they are still stiff, they both seem to work out of it much quicker.

Relief!
We have recently started using this product on our 28 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He was having trouble getting up from laying down and required our assistance to help him successfully rise. After feeding Nevada TLC for a week he was able to consistently get up on his own. Over the course of the last month there have only been two instances where he has required our assistance. We are relieved at the results as we were especially concerned with winter around the corner. Nevada is one of our go to school horses for young beginning riders.

My horse wouldn't eat this
My not-picky horse refused ALL of her grain when I added this product- even when I added it to beet pulp. No idea if it works, since she wouldn't eat enough to rate effectiveness.

Must have for Laminitis/Cellulitis flare up!
My 17yr old gelding started with a bout of cellulitis that ended with a laminitis flare up. What a mess! After a round of good antibiotic and pain killer we were able to switch to smart TLC and because of its excellent anti inflammatory benefits the swelling in the cellulitis leg has come almost all the way down after a month on this and after a few weeks in started to see benefits with the laminitis as well. Over all it worked good for my gelding. Totally with a shot.

works great for multiple isues
I purchased this product 60 days ago for my three year old who was having growing pains from her growth plates being open still. Now that she is on smart tlc she is moving freely and has resumed training under the guidance of her vet. This same filly has a stocking up isue when stalled it has done wonders for that problem as well. She is a picky eater and I have had no problem with her eating it.

Works great!

A huge disappointment
I purchased this product for my horse the end of May to help with a lameness issue. There was no mention on the website that this product is contraindicated for horses with gastrointestinal or ulcer issues. 14 days later, my horse stopped eating grain and began grinding his teeth. The only change we had made was the addition of TLC. At that point, I noted on the packaging in fine print that the product is not to be used with horses that have a history of ulcers. I am now $2000 into vet bills and ulcer medications. The only thing I ask is that SmartPak add a clear warning on their website on the Overview page to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. It is devastating to see your horse in pain and know that it could have been avoided.

Our picky gelding didn't seem to have any issues eating this when we first started it. He was however, very lame. He is still arthritic but this, in addition to his Smartflex I Maintenance, seems to have greatly improved his mobility!

Works well!
My OTTB has a 6 out of 10 arthritis in his hocks per my vet. When riding he
Starts out stiff and works out of it! I have noticed less stiffness since he has started TLC...of course some days are better than others! I believe that it has
overall made him feel better! Waiting for the weather to improve so I can ride more but as of now I am very happy
with this purchase!

Not for me.
My 14 year old gelding has been on this for two months now, and I haven't seen a difference...still unrideable. He has been having problems with his front end, and this isn't doing it for him. Will switch to something else.

Seems to be helping horse with kissing spines
I'm optimistic that this is helping my horse who was recently diagnosed with kissing spines. So far, we have treated with Tildren and back injections. I saw a slight improvement immediately with the injection, but he was still ouchy. About 4 weeks after injections, I added this supplement. Two weeks after that, I saw improvement. The chiro has me manipulating the horse's spine every day, and every day he acted like he wanted to bite my leg when I did it. After being on this for about 2 weeks, that behavior went away and he doesn't so much flick an ear when I touch his spine. The real test will be in spring when we get back to work, but my horse definitely seems to be in less pain because of this.
My horse is a hoover who will eat anything, so I can't speak to palatability if you have a finicky one.

Staple for older horses
I have two 26 yr old horses who both have old joint injuries. When winter comes I put them on daily doses of TLC and see a tremendous difference. We now have it on hand always!

TLC provides TLC!
This is a great name for this product! My horse is more comfortable after getting some Tender Loving Care! There is an obvious difference! My horse is a picky eater and didn't hesitate when TLC was added to her feed. Great product.

I decided to give this a go in an effort to help my OTTB recover from pedal osteitis (inflammatory disorder of the coffin bone). I truly believe that SmartTLC was the biggest factor in his quick recovery. He was comfortable and running around like a young Thoroughbred should in no time!
