Rated 5 out of 5 by JWestFL from Great Results for My Rescue Pup My rescue staffy has been on this product for about 3 months and I am seeing a great improvement! I adopted her about 6 months ago and we estimated her age to be about 4 years old. She has severe damage to her elbows, hocks, tail and hindquarters from living in a small concrete kennel. Because of this damage, she becomes sore and is frequently stiff. If she over does it while playing, she can show lameness that can last for a few days. However, since she has been on these chews her gait has greatly improved. She has more stamina, is less stiff when first getting up from laying down, and does not easily become lame from playing! She loves the taste of the chews and picks them out of her food bowl before eating the rest of her meal. I feel like the quality is there and she is so much more comfortable and happy. I will happily continue to use this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by silver from too hard and dry this is the second jar of SmartCanine Joint SOFT chews that I purchased and am terribly disappointed with these newest chews. The current chews are anything but soft , in fact, they are so hard that I cannot feed my dog without using a sharp knife to dice the chews into smaller pieces and to do that takes a lot of effort as the chews are VERY HARD AND DRY. The first jar was not soft but at least I could pull them apart with my fingers to cut into smaller pieces for my dog. Not happy with the inconsistency and may have to toss out and try something else
