Worked for a While...
For the first week I had my Thoroughbred on this supplement it seemed to help him focus... but after that it only seemed to wind him up. He did better without it than with it, but at first there definitely was a difference in his focus.

I started feeding B1 to my extremely spooky pony after a recommendation from my trainer. It's taken a few weeks, but I'm finally starting to see a decrease in his nervous energy. He's still the same looky pony, but it's much easier to get him to focus now. I did have to play with the dosage, however. I ended up feeding him 2 scoops a day instead of the suggested 1, and it wasn't until I upped the dosage that I saw a difference in behavior.

great value and great product
My mare has been on SmartB1 for several years now and I love it. She used to be very nervous and stressed in new places, but after starting her on SmartB1 she was a different horse. Don't get me wrong, her "thoroughbred-ness" is still there, but now she doesn't react irrationally. I would highly recommend this product.

I have an apendex mare who i got 2 years ago and when i first got her she was a little jumpy nothing horrible just enough to get on your nurves when you are trying to get something done in the ring ( u know troting around and all of a sudden the shadow you passed 300 times suddenly turns in to a lion). so I decied to give B1 a try after reading and asking around about things that may help. I did not want anything that would make her "dead" seeing that she already is more or less a slug undear saddle (must be the QH in her) I just wanted something that would take the "edge" off. so I took a chanse on the B1 after all at this price if it did not work its not like i was tossing out lots of money. well 2 years later i still have her on it. it works just enough to help her from beliving that shadow in the corner of the ring is a lion, but i don't loose any engergy.

Not sure it is helping
I added this to my horse's Smart Pak on the advice of a friend & riding instructor as my TB is unfocused, spooky and noise sensitive. Didn't really notice much difference for some time. Although with time and patience and further training he has become much more trusting of me and our relationship and has become a better partner. Maybe the B1 helped but I really can't say for sure.

Good stuff
My mare was always hot and spooky. She was on stall rest and I was rehabbing her all winter and this made the scary indoor a much better place for us. And now we are outside and she really is able to focus. I have told others at my bar to try it. It is inexepnsive and worth a try. I am so glad I did. Thank you SmartPak.

VitaminB1 Good, But Pellets Not So Sure
I have been using the previously-available SmartB1 powder for a couple years and have gotten great results from it with my nervous saddlebred mare, so was quite disappointed to find it had been replaced with the pellets. I went ahead and tried the pellets, as they are suppose to contain the same 1,000mg of B1 - but, since switching, she's been noticeably more nervous & jumpy again. Could just be coincidence, but I have to wonder about the effectiveness of the pellets v. the powder. Time will tell, since it's only been a week or two since the switch.

Love my B's
I discovered B vitamins about two years ago with a flighty nervous TB. They worked wonders to enable him to approach new situations with a, well, clearer head! I now have a Morgan cross that can be hard to keep in a nice rhythmic gait, he really likes to rush and trot, trot, trot, until we are going so fast it may as well be another gait! So I thought I'd give the B's a try again, and they worked! He relaxed, I was able to still have that wonderful Morgan energy and yet he stayed rhythmic. He only requires 1/4 scoop a day and he's good to go. That's what I love about SmartPak's I can customize my doses and not pay extra or have to buy a "standard" size and keep it around of 180 days while we work our way through it. So, in summary, Vitamin B works on all kinds of stuff. Talk about two different horses!

From crazy to quiet
Our QH mare is usually one of the most quiet horses on the farm. Fast forward a few months into a long michigan winter and being worked only in the indoor arena, and our normally quiet mare is more like crazy. She cannot focus and no matter how much you work her she never gets tired. This product is incredible! It helps take the edge off and allows her to be her normal self. I like that it doesn't make her depressed acting. She eats it without any trouble too! This is a great alternative to expensive brands that don't work as well!

Seems to work Well
I have an eventer who sometimes is on the ball and sometimes seems to have ADHD....its just plain hard to get him focused. However, since using this product for about 3 months now, he seems to settle a little better. Don't get me wrong, he still has trouble focusing sometimes, its just not as hard to get his attention back on me and what we where working on.

I Love it; He needs it
My horse is unrideable without these vitamins. I can't explain it. Maybe "crazy" horses are just B-deficient. The difference is day and night. The pellets are the best because nothing gets left behind.

I've been using this supplement for less than a month, but I have noticed a slight difference already! He's less jumpy on the trails now than he was a month ago. He also eats the pellets by themself!

Finally! A calmer horse!
My Warmblood mare spooked so bad she earned the the nickname "Spookapotamus" at our barn. Well, I have tried more than several supplements for spooky horses/mares. Just plain B-1 seemed to do the trick. It comes in a pelleted form, and is very economical. And I have a much calmer horse.

Love This!!
This is a great product!! I have tried many things for my spooky mare and this is by far the best!! She is so much more level headed. Also, she is an EXTREMELY picky eater, and I have no problem with her eating the pelleted form. Love this and totally recommend it!!

Wonderful Product!
I started my horse Mustard on Smart B1 Pellets a few weeks ago but he has been on the granules for over a year. I changed from the granules to the pellets and my horse loves them! Nothing is left behind in his bowl!

Love that its in pellets
I had my OTTB on Smart B-1, because he could all focus on his work. He would eat the powder but their would be some left in his bucket. So when I saw that smart b-1 came in pellets, I was so happy and I bought. Finn loves the pellets and I don't have to worry that he won't eat it.

Saved my horse
My horse started to act as if she was scared of everything, even things that she had seen a thousand times and never cared about. She was scatter brained and flighty. She had never been that way before, so I figured she had a lack of something some where. I started her on the B supplement and within about 2 weeks I had my old intelligent, trust worthy, equine friend back.
