My Horse Loves This
My horse is picky about supplements, but she loves this. I give her MSM along with this and it seems to be helping. She has a chronic condition in her right front and on these 2 supplements she has way more good days than bad.

Not a picky eater, but will not touch!
Could not figure out why my hungry hippo of a horse would not eat her grain, took out this Smartpak from her meals, and started eating again. Super sad that she didn't like this as I think she could have benefited from this supplement. I will not be adding this to her strips again, I'm sure most horses would not find this as offensive but was surprised that my typically not picky eater turned her nose up to this.

Not effective
Disappointed. After several months of feeding Smart & Simple Turmeric Pellets, I see no benefit. I wanted to try this product on my senior gelding to treat his mild to moderate arthritis and stiffness. As a medical professional, I've seen turmeric reduce the discomfort of painful joints in arthritis. This product simply isn't working. I noticed there is no black pepper (BioPerine) in this supplement. Black pepper is known to aid in the absorption and bio-availability. I wonder if a professional equine nutritionist with SmartPak could weigh in here. The price is nice. My horse loves the flavor and eats it without added grain. However, I can't recommend Smart & Simple Turmeric Pellets.

Seen a change in less than a week!
my mare is a previous barrel horse/western game, came to me with unknown injuries and arthritis from such poor training and care. Ive tried many different supplements for joints and they were okay. I decided to do research on turmeric and read about making a paste but thought that sounded like a lot of work and a chance she would not eat it. I then stumbled upon these pellets which is so much easier! I started them last Sunday at breakfast and today is friday and I let my mare loose in the arena and she decided herself to trot over a jump 3 times! I was surprised and so happy to see her moving better than she had been. I want nothing but my baby to be comfortable and I want to keep her healthy as long as possible cause that means she will be with me in the long run. Can't wait to see even more results in the weeks to come! Recommend give these pellets a try!

Terrific
My horse has arthritis, and has issues with his hocks being hot and swollen from time to time. I noticed a difference a week after I started him on this. I will definitely be keeping him on this supplement!

I buy the tumeric pellets for my horse for inflammation due to arthritis. The pellet is so much better than the powder that he would not eat. Pellets smell great. He loves them!

Very happy!
I noticed my 22 yr old QH was having a hard time this winter with being stiffer than usual. He is on his second month, and I am starting to see a difference. He seems more bright eyed, happy, and not so sluggish. He is also a picky eater, and eats this with no problem. Very happy with this product!

SmartPak Turmeric pellets awesome for ulcers.
Bought this to try for my horse that has been dealing with ulcers for 6 years. He is on numerous supplements including SmartGut and still having issues. Within 2 weeks I was able to take him off the powdered Omeprazole. He has been able to deal with pressure changes from storms.

Easy to handle
I used to make turmeric paste for my herd which consisted of turmeric powder, black pepper and coconut oil; it was a chore to make this paste on a weekly basis. When I discovered I could buy this supplement in bulk and in capsules, I jumped at the opportunity. The homemade version was eaten 50% of the time; with these capsules, they all eat it everyday.

Helpful for arthritic horse
I bought this for my arthritic mare and she is definitely feeling better. Less creaky when she comes out of the stall and moving more freely when turned out. There was no problem integrating into her feed.

I thought I would try this product for my 28 yr. old warmblood. He is walking better & I'm able to do a little more riding with him. Very pleased with this product. Also, he has no problem eating this.

My horse and I love this product!
Turmeric has been shown to have so many health benefits for both horses and people, so I was very excited when these Turmeric Pellets became available! My mare suffers from skin allergies and breathing issues, and I knew these would be the perfect choice to help support a normal inflammatory response. They’ve been a great addition to her other targeted supplements. She eats these pellets readily, even though she can be picky, and I love that there is no mess! She has been on this supplement for over a year now, and I really feel that it is helping her in addition to the rest of her management program. I would highly recommend them for anyone who wants to support a normal inflammatory response or is just looking to reap the health benefits of turmeric for their horse.

It really helps!
I am so happy with this supplement. My 28 year old who has cushings, chronic laminitis, and moderately severe arthritis has been off daily Bute because of this! He is getting around very well and seems very comfortable on the daily dose. He is prone to stomach upset (which we saw from long term use of Bute), so I was cautious with the Tumeric, but we have seen no issues of gastric discomfort at all. This is a life saver for him and so glad to see him happy!

Amazing Benefits!
We love this product! Powerful anti-inflammatory and it’s been an awesome addition to our feeding regimen. Our older horses with arthritis are benefitting immensely. I have done a lot of research on this and there are so many benefits to using turmeric...I put all our horses on it! This one is a win-win! (And our horses really seem to like the taste!)

Older mare loves it
I started my older mare (21 year old retired dressage horse/broodmare) on this and she seems much more comfortable. She likes to trot around with her pasture mates now instead of just watching. She has also started back in light trail riding and has not had any soreness or stiffness. The color will stain any container you put it in and will get on your clothes if you wipe your hands, just something to keep in mind!

Great way to give turmeric!
I added this to one of my geldings SmartPak’s hoping it would help him with a little bit of stiffness he’s developed as his training and workload have increased, and it’s seemed to do the trick. So much easier than measuring and dealing with orange powder that got everywhere, thanks SmartPak!

Great Features
I have only been using this product for a short time but feel it has made a big difference in my mare. She had foundered bout four or five years ago and her owner at that time did nothing for her Since using Turmeric pellets with her others meds. she has not been sore and recent x-rays have shown improvements on her rotation of the coffin bone. I would recommend giving it a try.

Absolutely amazing!
I bought this a month ago because my horse had gotten a month off and when I started working him again his stifle kept locking up at the trot so I tried this supplement and it worked wonders! After a week his stifle stopped locking up and he was obviously comfortable working again. Also, my horse is VERY picky, he has been known to skip many meals in a row if he doesn’t like something in it (including apple flavored bute), BUT he ate this without a problem at all. I was amazed! Cannot beat the price and quality. Highly recommend!

convienent and palatible. No yellow powder spilling all over the feed room. I use tumeric for my chiropractic patients and it helps them with joint stiffness and immune function. My 30 year old had a high fibrinogen in the fall and was treated with steroids and antibiotics by my fabulous vet. I wanted to continue to help his immume system so I added tumeric . He' is doing great!
