Great product

Very palatable, but didn't help lameness
I fed this supplement to a mare with ringbone and soft tissue damage in a front leg that is on bute daily. I was hoping the turmeric would allow me to reduce the dose of bute she gets, but I saw no effect from it after 3 months of use.
On the plus side, this horse is very picky about what she eats and she ate these with no problem even though they smell fairly strongly of turmeric.

Works Great!
My horse has chronic lyme disease and I was looking for a way to help keep inflammation down. I was thinking about making turmeric paste when I discovered these pellets. My horse has been on them for 6 weeks and there is a noticeable improvement. She eats them with no problem.

I see a difference
I’ve been giving my horse turmeric for a little over a month now. I felt the arthritis inflammation was subsiding a little and the ferries confirmed it today. She can bend her leg more easily

Turmeric for horses now available in pellets
I use Turmeric for my own arthritis, and decided to try my 30 yo mare on it in December. Despite extremely cold (even for Maine) weather and icy footing, she is moving better than I expected. She can be quite stiff in her hind legs due to arthritis, and feeding Turmeric pellets has apparently helped her. Seeing her moving more comfortably certainly makes me feel better!

Picky eater approved
My 15yr old APHA mare is about to start her second month on the turmeric pellets. I noticed a spring in her step a couple of weeks in and that "freshness" has continued! I wouldn't say she was having a lot of stiffness or discomfort prior to starting, but I am starting to demand more of her and was thinking more preventative. The best part is that she actually ate it! I have been through so many supplements with this horse because she refuses to eat them. She's happy, which means I'm happy!

Great product!
I bought this in hopes it would help with my 11 year old appendix that I do hunters with. He has high ringbone and was starting to become consistently more stiff and would take increased time to warm up. I researched turmeric a while back, but never added it to his regimen because I could not find it in a pellet form and I was worried he wouldn’t eat the powder. I was so excited when I saw smartpak came out with the pellets! After only a short time of starting him on this smartpak I noticed a big difference! Since being on the turmeric pellets he has yet to be stiff and overall I have noticed he just seems more comfortable and moving better overall. He eats these pellets right up, but he isn’t too picky so I don’t have much to say about that! I will continue to use and recommend this product!

Yummy turmeric pellets
I did not think my picky eater would eat it, but she eats up the pellets! My veterinarian recommended turmeric and she seems to feel good so I am happy to add it to her smart pak.

Got it as immune booster for my 21 yr gray TB mare with increasing melanoma tumors. Previously used the root powder. Didn't see any change with the root powder, thought I'd try this anyway, less messy & getting spoiled with the Smartpaks. Still not seeing a change and with this month's shipment she stopped eating it. So will look for another immune product. Been giving it to my other horse so it doesn't go to waste and he thinks it tastes just fine.

Love it!
This easy to feed pellet has helped my sister's 23 yr old mare through a lot of joint stiffness this fall. She is a very picky eater and this formula doesn't bother her at all! I really love this company and its commitment to equine health...

No noticeable improvement
I added this to my old man's smartpak in hopes of it helping his comfort level. He's 29 years old with arthritis in his neck, hocks and ankles (I'm sure it's elsewhere but we know it's in those areas for sure). He does quite well on the equioxx tablets, but I wanted to give him some extra support for the winter. Others have sworn by turmeric, and for the price that Smartpak offers I thought why not give it a shot. I included it in his Smartpak for 2 months and unfortunately didn't see any improvement in his movement or comfort level. Perhaps I should have continued it for another month or two, and I'm sure it's been beneficial to others, but it just didn't work out for us. However, as an EXTREMELY picky eater, he had no issues gobbling up these pellets!

great price... great product
My 21 year old mare was having JOINT issues with walking and I have tried several different products. My Vet suggested TURMERIC.. She has been on this now for about a month and I have noticed she is able to get around much easier with her stiff joints.. Glad I found it with Smartpak and SO easy to feed in the pre packed containers..

I added this to my 16 year old's Smartpak because he tends to be stiff after being in a stall. After using this for almost 2 months now he seems to be less stiff and feeling much better! I also have no trouble getting him to eat this and he tends to be a picky supplement eater. Very pleased overall :)

Excited to see turmeric pellets
I've used turmeric in the form of golden paste for myself and my dogs with great success and was happy to see SmartPak provide a turmeric supplement for horses in pellet form. It's too soon to tell if it will make a difference in my horse but I know turmeric works wonders. I do wish it contained the ingredients of golden paste (pepper and coconut oil) as they gave bern shown to aid in absorbing the turmeric.
Horse eats it just fine and the pricing is reasonable.
