Great addition for all horses
I have my baby (just turned 4) and my big (17.3 1300+ lbs) Oldenburg mare both on this for maintenance with evening. For my peace of mind, its spectacular especially for the price. $9 a month? You can pass on McDonalds a few times for your horse to be more comfortable. Especially with my big mare with all the pounding she does on the joints, anything to help a bit. Only problem has been that she seems to not especially like the taste, so had to mask it with oil, and she's not a usually a picky eater... (quite the opposite)

Good Overall Product
This product has a good impact on the overall performance of my horse. Once we added this to his SmartPaks almost immediately we saw that he began to move more fluidly and had a much easier time extending and collecting himself. A good add to your SmartPak!

Great for the "older" horse
My retired barrel racing quarter horse mare has arthritis in back hocks, swelling and slow movement. It helped her have more movement and the swelling went away.

Very disappointed with quality
We have been a smartpak barn for a while now and were always very happy with their supplements, customer service, and quality of product. However the smartmsm has left me at a loss. We had been feeding this to our gelding with good results. On the 4th month there were flecks of something in the smartpaks. Not knowing what it was I called CS. Shipped the sample back and they called to say it was their Glo supplement stored next to the MSM and that it was safe to feed. They CS rep said they would resolve this matter to make sure it did not happen again.
They sent a replacement month and I thought all was well. I just ordered again and this month of MSM is full of the same flecks. I have cancelled my future orders of all supplements. I need to know the supplement I am feeding is safe, controlled, and precise. Cross contamination does not leave me a feeling of a safe supplement.

Seems to work

Good Basic Support
For the price, this is a great supplement. I give it to 2 of my geldings who are older and in moderate work, and this has kept them fluid and healthy without making me worry about the bank! I've noticed that it also brings down swelling from injuries. One of my horses won't eat the powder unless I wet down his Senior Feed so the powder sticks to it. Other than that it is great.

Great product!
My mare takes MSM for breathing issues and for overall anti inflammatory properties. I have used the MSM powder and pellets from smartpak before and have always been happy with the quality and palatability of the products, and the price as well!

A great preventive supplement
After a little over a month of use I have seen improvement in my stiff/ bad stifles 17.1 hand thoroughbred gelding! It has also improved his coat and I have noticed that since starting the MSM that the fungus on his legs has also disappeared! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap way to give your horse some added comfort! My horse also loves the taste!

Fixed My Horse's Mysterious Skin Issue
My horse broke out in a strange skin issue (allergies possibly). I couldn't seem to combat it from the outside so I added the MSM to his supplements. Within a few weeks the irritation had stopped bothering him and hair began to grow back. The hair has entirely grown back and his coat is once again it's normal color. He is even shiner than he was before and looks like a brand new penny! He tends to eat anything but he has no problems eating this. I would recommend this product having been at the end of my rope with this skin issue to having a better coat than ever!

Great Preventative Joint Measure
I have a 13 year old quarter horse gelding and has never had any stiffness issues or lameness but there were always the cracks when he would pick up a leg or when warming up. So, in order to keep his joints healthy, I decided to put him on Smart MSM. It not only stopped the cracking, it made his feet stronger and made his coat softer as well and he looks better than when he was off of it.

excellent healing properties support hooves joints and overall immune system. some studies have shown msm to have recover properties that aid in healing/regenerating tissue. pellets are easy to feed

GOOD STUFF!!
I bought this about 1 1/2 months ago and after about two weeks no more cracking joints and my mare is feeling better and moving better! I've just recently started to teach her to jump and she is poppin over two foot fences easily at 17 years old!!! My mare also really likes the berry flavoring! she eats it right up every morning! Thanks again SmartPak!!!

Great Product
Did exactly what it needed to do, help my arthritic mare and horse to be able to move without pain. They have no problem consuming it, and the older horse is a picky eater. Great product for arthritic horses, love it and love the price.

Excellent Product
My horses have no problem consuming this product and enjoy the berry flavour. I feed this to my dressage horses. It also helps my elderly mare with her stiffness due to old age.

Great for Picky Eaters
I used this for my TB who was very picky. He wouldn't eat his feed if it had regular MSM in it. This berry flavored MSM did the trick. He had no problems eating it.

there are a billion MSM supplements out there. the Smart MSM is the most reasonalby priced option to smartpak users. the horses eat it and it is a reasonably priced bit of insurance for horses who are used regularly.

Awesome MSM
MSM is pretty generic in a lot of ways. Multiple quality companies manufacture it. However, what SmartPak does that NO ONE else does - they flavor the MSM! I'll admit, I've tasted it myself and it's not bad! I think that it makes a big difference tothe horse.

My horses have been on SmartMSM powder nearly a year now. I have not had any problems with them eating it although it does end up in the bottom of the bucket a lot. I'm thinking of trying the pellet version since I have several powder supplements to give with both feedings. I wouldn't want to go a day without MSM. It helps my horses in various ways from itchyness to stiffness.

Excellant results acheived
We started using MSM for two mares that had a seasonal cough. Nothing else worked. Vets prescribed antihistamines and cough meds. Not until we started on MSM did the cough QUIT. We have also put our older performance horses on the MSM with great results. None of the horses have refused to eat any of the supplements from Smartpak.

Excellent value
This is a great product for the price. My Clyde/TB cross seems to really move much better on this. This product does clump in the smartpak container, so you do need to break it up when you dump it in the feed bin, but I have not seen an MSM that doesnt do this.

This stuff is amazing LOVE IT!!!
This is the best supplement I have ever used with speedy results, I adopted a 27yr old thouroughbred who now within one month on MSM his coat is shining and he is no longer lame, I also have a 29yr old missouri foxtrotter who has been on this for 4 weeks now and is showing amazing results, he is alot faster than he was and more eager and willing to go on a trail ride, my 18yr old paint no longer has creaking bones after 4 weeks and is no longer tripping...I highly recommend this product, and I love the individual packages its so easy for the children to help feed, the horses love it too, Awesome!!!
