SimpliFly with LarvaStop is a highly palatable additive to prevent the development of stable flies and house flies in the manure of treated horses. LarvaStop breaks the fly life cycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae's exoskeletons when they molt (resulting in their death). This highly palatable pelleted formula is a great way to fight from within for those pesky flies, just add daily to the horses feed.

Fighting the fly war
SimpliFly works really well. It doesn't diminish all them, but it surely keeps the population down by 90%.

Flies are not as bad as last year
Though I have taken several steps to curb the flies, I do believe this has helped. I have an organic dairy farm that borders my property, so fly control is difficult. I do believe this has helped with the number of flies in the barn area. I have fly traps, use repellents, tried the fly stoppers and now this. Any little thing helps I think.

It works!
I don’t see flies much around the barn. Better fly control around my property this year. A friend needed a place to keep her mule for a couple months. When she arrived I noted little nat like flies in her poo. My horses don’t have them!

High hopes
I have five equine and was hopeful for this product to begin but I think that due to all the rain we had this past winter, the product just can't keep up with the enormous amount of flies.

Didnt seem to be working
I thought if I gave this product enough time to work through the seasons I would see a difference. However, every morning when I removed manure piles there would would be tons on minute flies all over it. Not too sure it worked so I deleted it from our supplements for all our horses

Took some time but yes it works!
We purchased this in May and at first I was upset because I was still finding a lot of flys on my horses. We gave it time and now we have nearly no flys. You do have to keep ALL your horses on it but it does work. We have 7 horses and have only used 1 bottle of fly spray thus far. Its expensive but I think its worth it. Does not work against mosquitos though. I would start it a bit earlier in the season next time. We do also have neighbors with cattle who do not do fly control and I am still seeing a difference on my property. Great product.

Peace of mind, good value
Bought this for my mini and donkey as the flies really bother my donkey. This is a good value and is a safe product. I think it will take some time to really start working, but it's palatable and I trust the other reviews on this site.

No more flies
But this about a month ago and I'm so glad I did. Flies are bad this year I'm doing everything I can to keep them down this product has really helped. Highly recommend. Thre plus about it is that he loves it.

Excellent Fly Control
We have used Simplifly from April through September since 2015 and will probably never stop. We have an unbelievably small amount of flies for a Virginia Farm and other farm owners plus our vet has commented on it as well. In fact, I don’t really consider flies an issue at all on our little farm since we started using this product. We tried predators for a couple years with almost zero success, and I ordered sometimes up to quadruple the suggested amount. Now if they could just make this stuff for gnats and horse flies, we’d be set!

Good if your whole barn is on it
I have a barn with 5 horses and being in Florida, in a swamp we have many flies. The barn does not have a fly spray system and we were getting basically carried away. I put all the horses on this and so far the flies are dramatically less. There are still flies but they do not swarm nearly as bad and I've noticed the horses are much happier.

Actually Works
Started using this after moving 5 horses to my boyfriend’s house and flies from the neighboring farm found us and were multiplying like crazy. All 5 horses eat it with no issues and it worked within a week. This product along with fly traps has put Barn house-fly free. We bought the smallest size to carry down the aisle and give to each horse and buy the largest size to refill it from.

This stuff works!
I started using this about 6 weeks ago. I saw a noticeable reduction in the number of flies at about 2 and a half weeks. By 4 weeks I estimate fly numbers are 99% reduced. The horses no longer need fly masks or daily fly spray applications. I only wish it was cheaper in SmartPaks so I didn’t have to give it separately.

Our fly population was cut by 75%
We didn't start Simplify until May but we cleaned up all manure before we did. I have to use additional fly spray very seldom. This product works!

Effective!
We have been using Simplifly for years and it works great at reducing the fly population significantly. We still use sprays and traps but even the farrier noticed how we have very few flys compared to other farms. We feed it to our 4 horses from Spring into the Fall and it seems to be a very safe product.

Makes a world of difference
I started 4 horses on this in June which is a little late and it’s made an incredible difference in the number of flies here, which were absolutely awful to start the season and now not bothersome at all. I will be starting this at the beginning of May next year.

We've been using this for 4 years now. We still have flies but it is very minimal for having 3-6 horses on the property at all times.
We don't fly spray often and the fly population has cut down enough that there are no welts on my bay.

Works great!
I start feeding this product in the Spring every year for the last 3 years since I first used it. Tried Fly Predators before which didn't work for us. Makes a huge difference in the number of flies.

Fantastic!
Our pasture is just a few feet from our front door and I can't stand flies getting in the house or pestering the horses. Found Simplifly several years ago and feed it every spring religiously through mid-summer. There's a huge difference in the fly population at home and the fly population at the barn where I train and not all the horses are on this. I truly don't know how much good it would do in a boarding barn setting if not everyone was on it, but I 10/10 recommend it when you can feed it to all the horses on a property.

We Buy It Every Year.
This is our go-to fly preventative. We live with our horses and I can't stand flies getting in the house or having horses spending all day trying to knock flies off. A friend recommended this and we've used it every year! We feed it to everyone on the property beginning in spring and feed it through the first bit of summer. Our fly population is virtually non-existent and we only fly spray when we travel to other barns or later in the summer when the horseflies come out.
If you board, I feel like this might be a waste of money unless everyone on the farm is using it. I just can't imagine the results would be as effective-but it would be interesting to see a side by side of a horse who is on this next to one who isn't.

This is my 2nd year using this product , if you start at the BEGINNING OF fly season ( late spring ) it gets in the horsez system and works great you cant expect results in a week or 2 especially if you already have many flys ...

Didn't notice a difference
My poor horse has been battling horse flies, mosquitoes and black flies all summer so I decided to give this a try in addition to regularly spraying him with fly spray. Did not notice a difference in the amount of bug s or bug bites he was getting. I have since used equispot and that has made a difference.
