Product Overview
Supports total digestive tract health
Formulated by the scientists at Kentucky Equine Research, RiteTrac® is a proprietary blend of ingredients designed to support total digestive tract health in horses. Targeted at both the foregut and hindgut of the horse, RiteTrac® works in two distinct ways. First, with its combination of fast-acting buffering and coating agents, RiteTrac® helps neutralize excessive gastric acid, protecting the sensitive stomach lining and supporting a normal gastric environment. Second, RiteTrac® contains EquiShure®, a time-released hindgut buffer that acts to attenuate changes in hindgut pH that may result from fermentation of starches in the hindgut.

Happy Horse
I have a miniature horse that gets ulcers when we take him to shows. At home, he's fine, but at a show, starting the second day, his ulcer would act up and he would pin his ears and misbehave. Our vet said to give him Ulcer Guard and it worked but gave him loose stools, is expensive, and messy. I did some research on supplements that I could put in his feed. On paper, Ritetrac seemed the perfect solution so I bought some and gave it a try. I am so happy with it. He doesn't need it on a daily basis, but I start giving it to him several days before a show, continue giving it at the show, and continue for a few of days after the show and he is now a very happy horse. Bonus: since he's a mini, a tub of Ritetrac should last a long time saving me a lot of money.

Great, great product
I have a very ulcer-prone OTTB who is an extremely picky eater. Even though it's a power, if you wet the food and shake it just a little bit to spread it around, he licks his bowl clean. It is expensive, but absolutely worth it. I switched him to U-Guard for maintenance after about 8 months on Rite-Trac and he's still doing great. We had him on a different supplement that upset his stomach, so I switched him back to Rite-Trac for 30 days, and he's back to his normal self.

I can tell if he doesn't get his supplement
I bought this supplement first from KER for a horse with diarrhea and probable ulcers. From the first dose his stool consistency normalized. If he misses a dose the diarrhea usually comes back. I think this works just as advertised

Great product!!
I love love love this stuff. It's great for long-term use or a 60 day fix. Fastest results I've seen, extremely effective in severe cases, and very cost effective. I have an extremely sensitive OTTB prone to ulcers and colic, and this is his favorite product.

So far so good
I have a twelve year old gelding who is an internal stressor and susceptible to recurrent ulcer flare ups. I’ve had him on a couple different maintenance/preventative products as well as natural digestive supplements. During the show season I support him with Ulcergard. This past fall after a significant flare up necessitating treatment my vet recommended RiteTrac based on the research. So far so good. Will see how it goes moving forward into show season. He’s not a picky eater so adding it to his grain is no problem.

Frustrated
Could not get the large amount required into my horse daily. My horse would not eat the large amount of chalky white powder nor his grain even with enticements. Daily oral injection was not practicaI. Could not access support or guidance from manufacturer. It might be great stuff but I'm puzzled with how to deliver it.

Buy Ulcer Guard instead
So this product is a combination of Tums and Malox for horses. It costs about $4.50 a day. Ulcer Guard which has the exact same ingredients cost about $0.63/day.
Yes it seems to be working, however, my mare is also on omeprazole. So my sample side isn't the best. All of that being said, RiteTrac is way over priced.

It Worked
I have had an ulcer-prone horse in full training for three months with no gastric upset. This is the only supplement, apart from Amplify, given. Horse looks great and is doing well. I have tried other supplements with limited to no success in the past. I did use a 1/4 tube of Ulcergard daily 3 days prior to the move and the first week, but that was it.
