Its effects peak 8 hours after first administration, and last up to 12 hours. Perfect Prep EQ Gold Paste can be used repeatedly for indefinite periods, as horses respond without building tolerance, and its effects are maintained with continued use. Perfect Prep Supreme should be administered 90 minutes prior to activity for maximum benefit, and the effects may last up to six hours.
