Sand Clear/Manure-Eating Dogs-Hurrah!
I have used Sand Clear monthly packets for years but, I never dreamed they would be so good at cleaning the sand out of the gut of my horses. Unfortunately, my Australian Shepherd dog, as well as my 2 Teddy Bear Puppy-type dogs, are always getting into the manure pile in their quest for horse droppings (treats for them). I was alarmed when the Aussie vomited in the house repeatedly one morning. The final vomitus produced a cupful of sand with mucus. I thought how awful it was for the dog to have that much sand in her stomach.I called the Vet, thinking something was very wrong. But, we both decided that it was a natural occurrence, after the Aussie's dining habits were exposed. I realized that the Sand Clear was doing it's job. The sand absorption by the Sand Clear was so good that my dog became filled with sand after dining on her special manure diet. All was well with my dogs and horses. I am now working on an underground fence to keep the manure piles off-bounds for the dogs.

Sweating again!
My 27 year old TB stopped sweating last summer and about gave me a heart attack. I started him on One AC and noticed him starting to sweat within a week! Thank you for giving me my sweaty boy back!

A Must Have!
My colt developed Anhidrosis last summer. I tried several products and One AC seemed to make the biggest difference in his sweating. I have continued this product since, and he has been sweating normally since.

A little to soon to tell yet. And of course since the Temps have dropped off sweating wouldn't be as big a issue. But the folks at Smart Pack have been great about working with us. As you can see Summer's more than a show horse. She's my baby & I wouldn't trust just anyone . Thank You Smart Pack for helping us .

Great product that actually works
I purchased this product about 5 weeks ago and have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with it. Living in Alabama the summers here are painfully hot. We have only had our horse since March but in the short time we have had him I noticed that he would never sweat after being ridden by my daughter when he should of been sweating with the amount of jumping she was doing. I researched causes and came up with anhidrosis . I decided to try this product . It took about 3 weeks to kick in but we finally have sweat. He is now sweating at a pace that he should be. He seems a lot happier now he is able to sweat. I'm really happy with this product . It has worked for us and isn't painfully expensive. I bought the smartpaks as we board and thought it would be easier all around .

Worked rather quickly
My 26 year old gelding developed anhidrosis in his second summer in South Carolina. This summer has been hotter and more humid than the previous summer. My vet recommended trying One AC. I started him on the One AC. After about 7 days he popped a little sweat. It is sweltering today and he is sweating in all the right places, 10 days on One AC.

Miracle Supplement
Last summer our quarter horse gelding was diagnosed with anhidrosis and had a really rough time until he was put on One AC. This spring we started him on it as soon as it got warm and he has had zero issues and has been ridden all summer! He sweats like a champ now. Very pleased with One AC.

This worked well for my welsh cob
My 6 yo welsh cob developed anhydrosis and I worried how to keep her in work through the summer. Within a week of starting OneAC she began to show sweat under her saddle. We've been using it for almost 2 months and she's sweating almost normally. I'm very pleased with the product.

Worked for anhydrosis
My older gelding came to me with a total lack of ability to sweat--dry under the saddle blankets. That was an alarm bell to me. I bought this and gave it to him in his supplements for a few weeks and noticed a big improvement -- he started sweating under his saddle pad and on his neck during workouts. He had lived in cold Wyoming and then was bought by owners in the hot desert before me and it shocked his system. I made sure he got a lot of care, plenty of drinking water and salt/minerals, and veterinary support to help him adapt to the heat. He is a great horse and now is fully back to normal and fit, this supplement worked for him.

It really works

Great Product! It Works!
I use this product on my anhydrosis mini...April through October. It gets hot in AZ during the summer and this allows my mini to sweat during the hottest months. I also use this on my IR?Cushings horse who has periods of no sweating. Price is lower than local stores.

Sadly disappointing
My horse is on a complete coverage regimen with smartpak and I am generally a huge advocate. However, I can't recommend this supplement. My mare suddenly became an "inefficient sweater", meaning slow to sweat and only on her neck. I was hoping for any improvement at all in helping her sweat over more of her body more quickly. I've seen absolutely no change in sweating. I even doubled the dose for a month to see if that would help; it did not. I consider this a total waste of my money. That being said, I would pay double if it actually worked, but it did not.

Life Saver!
Last year in the middle of a heat wave where the temps were over 100 degrees for almost the entire month, my daughters horse stopped sweating. We had him in a stall with misters and an fan on him all day. He was panting to try and stay cool. Someone told me about this product and I ordered it ASAP. I started feeding it to him and within a week he had small patches of sweat. After about 2 weeks he was completely sweating normal again. We continued feeding this product through out the fall and then stopped and resumed again in the late spring before it got warm. This has been his best year ever and we love this product because without it he would may have had to retire him and move him to a cooler climate or worse. I will never be without this product again!

Makes a great difference

Great product!
I have been leasing a 17 year old warmblood who seems to have developed anhidrosis over the last five years or so. No matter how hot the weather, she barely sweat. Began the loading dose of One AC a little over a month ago. After about 2 weeks we began to see some sweating. This weekend we went for an hour and a half hack over varied terrain. By the end of the hour she was lathering on her neck and rear. The reins became slippery! Guess I'll have to start wearing gloves in the summer now. Thanks, One AC, for a great product.

Works okay to help him Sweat
This product was recommended to me by Henry's prior owner. I have been using it now for 2 months and it was working only okay until I changed his feed to something a bit sticker and now that the product sticks to the feed, he is getting more of it and it seems to be working better. He needs a high dose for it to work. I feed 3 scoops per day; rather than the 1 recommended for maintenance. One scoop does nothing for him, but he is a huge horse (18.1 hh) and an Oldenburg. Once scoop might work for a smaller horse. It definately helps him to sweat. I had another horse with anhidrosis a long time ago and she died from the problem. However, Henry still doesn't sweat like a normal horse and he still pants/puffs. I have to give him a cold shower 2x a day in hot humid weather. On the other hand, I think he would die without the One AC. More research needs to be done on this disease/problem.

Love this stuff
I have a horse with fairly severe metabolic issues; he is insulin resistant and has early stage Cushings disease, and all sorts of secondary issues as a result. About four years ago, on a really hot summer day, the motor blew out on his stall fan, and he got very overheated. He promptly developed the most terrifying case of anhydrosis I've seen in 30+ years of riding horses; he was unable to maintain a normal body temperature even standing in a stall under a fan. We spent several exhausting weeks hosing and scraping him off every few hours around the clock. We started him on OneAC immediately, and he eventually regained the ability to sweat and returned to work and a normal life (and we gratefully returned to sleeping through the night). Ever since then, we religiously start him on One AC in the spring and continue it throughout the summer, and he (knock on wood) has never had a problem again.

Great for anhidrosis
Living in Florida year round, this is the best supplement I have found for non sweaters, I recommend it to all my clients that come down for the season or those with sweat issues. I keep several of my horses on it year round and just cut the dosage in half for the winter months. I have found this way it takes less time to "kick in" when it warms up quickly and you need it

Have used this product for many years-my horse is a poor sweater, has worked well this year, has not worked great in some years. The weather this year has not been overly hot so not sure if he is sweating well because of one ac or climate. Still will use every year. The taste is good (eats it with no problem) and the smartpaks and free shipping are great!
