Why We Love This
Hydration Hay Original Horse Hay Block is a blend of quality grass and alfalfa that has been compressed into a convenient lightweight block. Simply drop the block into a bucket of water and it will quickly absorb water to make moist, palatable hay. A great way to deliver consistent, quality nutrition in a convenient, lightweight, easy-to-feed compressed block that horses love!
Place one 2-lb Hydration Hay Horse Hay Block in a large bucket. Add a minimum of 5.5 quarts of water. Allow product to absorb water prior to feeding (approximately 10 minutes). Recommended for all horses at all life stages.

Instructions
Hydration Hay® Horse Hay Blocks can be fed dry or soaked in water.
Soaking Directions:
Place one 2-lb block in a large bucket. Add a minimum of 5 quarts of water. Allow product to absorb water prior to feeding (approximately 10 minutes). To facilitate more uniform absorption, flip the hay block halfway through soaking time.
Additional mixing by hand may further accelerate water absorption.
Designed to replace a portion or all of the forage in a horse’s diet. Replace forage on a 1:1 ratio. Each 2 pounds of dry hay can be replaced with one 2-lb dry Hydration Hay® block.
If replacing all forage in a horse’s diet, be sure to feed at a minimum rate of 1.0 to 1.2% of body weight (10-12lbs/ 5-6 blocks for a 1,000 pound horse) with 2.0% of body weight preferred. Inadequate amounts of forage may lead to colic and other digestive disturbances.
