Hydration Life Saver
I will never stop recommending this product! Use in the summer after shows/hard workout or in the winter when its too cold and they don’t want to drink! I swear this product has helped stop my horse from having colic episodes from dehydration.

Summertime Life Saver
To be quite honest, I was a little skeptical of using Gallagher’s Water. After all, my ponies can be picky when it comes to liquid forms of supplements. But I had to try it after seeing all the rave reviews and blog posts—am I ever glad I did!
This summer was especially brutal for all of us and having Gallagher’s Water was a life saver. I tried it on my two ponies and a couple of leased horses: there was not one who turned up their nose. I swear each head that dove into the bucket wouldn’t have come out if it had been an endless supply. My gelding even grabbed the bucket and licked every last drop out of it. So appreciative of this lifesaver during the sweltering summer!

Great hydration supplement!
I have hauled horses all over the United States and worked with many years at top level barns in the Show Jumping world. Hydration is so so important. Getting horses to drink unfamiliar water in different locations can be very tricky. I started adding the Gallagher's Water to my routine and the horses love the taste! They seem to think it's a treat and look forward to it. Anything to get them drinking! I always have regular water available but giving them the choice to drink the Gallagher's Water as well has been a wonderful way to increase hydration levels.

Did Not Disappoint
I don’t usually write reviews but this worked so well I had to come write one! My boy doesn’t drink any water when we are not at home, like ANY but I purchased Gallagher’s Water after reading reviews and it did not disappoint. My gelding drank a whole bucket of water after adding the packet. I’m very impressed and will be back for more.

Great item to keep on hand!
I love keeping Gallagher's Water on hand at my barn! I originally purchased Gallagher's Water to pack for shows to help keep my horse hydrated, and encourage drinking. They are packaged individually, so they're extremely easy to pack! I also like having them on hand at the barn for extremely hot weather or in the winter when horses aren't drinking as much. My horse initially took some coaxing before he would try it and sometimes still tries to be a picky drinker, but I keep these on hand to help entice him. Every other horse in my barn drinks water with Gallagher’s Water in it eagerly!

Lead a horse to Gallagher's and they WILL drink
I bought this to have on hand for shows, traveling, or in case of an issue drinking. I finally got around to testing it yesterday and both of my mares give two hooves up! One drank the entire 2-2.5 gallons without lifting her mouth from the water 😳 the other I had to splash a bit to get her to try it but once she did she drank the entire thing, only stopping to give an occasional Flehman's response. I highly recommend getting this to have in your trailering kit, emergency supplies, etc - if you need them to drink, this will work!

This Product Changed Our Life
In January of 2024 my older gelding had a very significant colic episode that left him hospitalized for several days - the main culprit was his lack of drinking water. Since then, we have incorporated Gallagher's water into our routine, and what a difference it has made - especially going into the hot summer months! We use it now when traveling, camping, and on hot days as a 'lunch'! My old man is an awful water drinker and perks up immediately when he sees his Gallgaher's Water being prepped. I have even timed how long it takes for him to drink the bucket and it comes up as nearly less than a minute every time!
I recommend this product to everyone I know!

Great Electrolyte Treat!
Gallagher's Water™ is a win -win. My horse wins because he enjoys his alfalfa electrolyte treat and slurps down his water. I won because it solves a huge problem. Gallagher's Water™ was recommended to me by a friend, who gave me some samples to try. My horse is an excellent drinker, uses his salt lick, and sweats normally but not excessively. I give him this at shows and before/during big temperature swings just to keep his stomach happy and hydrated. He loves it so much and gets so excited when he sees his “special water” bucket. I find my horse especially likes it if I put the powder in a dry bucket and fill it with a higher-pressure hose because then it gets all frothy and foamy. Since my horse drinks it readily, has free access to salt, and he gets it more as a fun flavor addition to boost water intake than for the electrolytes. Winner!! Premeasured packets make it easy for travel or daily use. I like to add Gallagher’s Water to warm water in the winter. It also mixes well with cold water. If you need a foolproof way to boost your horse’s water intake and/or overall hydration levels in the form of a treat, this works- really!
