E-Se-Mag Pellets are formulated to support sore muscles. E-Se-Mag Pellets contain a unique combination of 1,000 IUs vitamin E, 2 mg selenium, and 3,000 mg magnesium per serving. As reported in the Horse Journal, vitamin E and selenium supplementation, along with magnesium in the ration, may aid in nutritional support in the presence of sore muscle problems.

Good for horses on low or no forage
My horse does not play well with others, so he has to go out by himself, a situation with which he is very happy, thankfully. However, he doesn't get the nice, lush pasturage the other horses get, as he is in a smaller solo paddock. He gets very high quality hay out there and alfalfa in his stall, but after he'd been without good forage for a while I was worried he wasn't getting enough Vitamin E.
My horse is fat, shiny, and bursting with health- he is a jumper and has always felt ready to jump big fences. However, I had noticed he was much more sensitive to being brushed over the past year, when his pasturage changed to very little grazing. The things is that when I added this supplement very quickly he was suddenly back to not caring about being curried. So, I don't know if the Vitamin E and/or Selenium and/or Magnesium helped, but it is the only thing I changed and I am happy to have my mellow dumblood back again!
He likes it and eats it up, although if I gave him a cheeseburger he would probably eat that, so his hooves up review may not be worth much, but I'm the one paying for it and it seems to be working, so we will keep him on it!

Love this product
I bought this for my mare who has PSSM. All of this products ingredients have the highest and easiest forms (to digest) and amounts of each that a horse with PSSM needs. Not only that but my mare seems to love the taste as well which was a big plus in my book.

Juries still out but so far so good
I bought this to help my OTTB gelding with sore back issues. I haven’t been riding much so I’m not sure about that yet. However, I have noticed he’s more focused during his ground work and although he’s a pretty calm horse he just seems more settled. I’ll review again once he’s working more but for now the product seems hopeful.

Great Results
My mare suffered a hind leg injury that resulted in very tight hip muscles. She started back to work after a full recovery and is doing fantastic. She's a picky girl and loves the taste!

Just alright
I was excited to start my horse on this product after the suggestion from my chiropractor. My mare was compensating on her left hind for an injury to her right hind, and the chiro suggested adding magnesium to help relax her muscles. I was excited to see a change in her mare-tude as well with the added magnesium, and a shiny coat with the vitamin E. However, after being on this supplement for over a month at the standard dosage, I have not seen much of a difference. I will most likely go for Quiessence next time.

This product allowed my horse to recover quickley
My horse was having problems with muscle soreness and response. He has been on his Smart Pack for about one month and difference is huge. I would recommend this product for any horse in training and competition

Already see improvement!
I started my 19 year old Arabian mare on this a few weeks ago and I'm already noticing an improvement. She is very sensitive and "thin skinned" but in a flinchy/sore type of manner. Since starting this supplement, there has been a noticeable improvement in her sensitivity. It's also very palatable - she is super picky, and will eat these pellets alone, not mixed with anything.

Easy to feed
I have been feeding the equivalent product in powder form for years and only tried the pellets when the powder was no longer available. The pellets are easier to get my horse to eat, so I am very satisfied.

Eased Stall Rest Anxiety
My trainer recommended E-Se-Mag Pellets for my stall-rest bound OTTB and his restlessness at not being able to be turned out. Immediately after starting him on the pellets, I noticed my horse acting much calmer and not as reactive. I am continuing to his use the supplement during his rehabilitation and am finding him far less skittish than I ever expected after four months of stall rest.

Best way to ensure the right amount

Seems great
I had my horse on the powder form per request of my vet. My vet said my horse needed some Selenium and Vitamin E and this seemed to be the best combination of the 2. I really have liked it. My horse has been on this brand of supplement for about a year now and he has done well on it. He has some muscle soreness in his neck and it has seemed to work it out a little. Hasn't made the world in difference, but I don't know what's going to.
