Great Product! Pony Prefers This Flavor
I purchased the peppermint and apple banana flavored syrups for medicating my metabolic pony. He didn't care for the apple banana flavor, but didn't seem to mind the peppermint as much. This is a great product, appreciate that there is a safe flavoring that won't cause insulin spikes.

My stallions hates it
Bought hoping it would keep my stallion interested in his grain during warm weather.
But sadly he won't even touch his grain if this is added.

Great Product
My mare has metabolic issues and is on different medications, she started leaving her supplements due to the different flavors. I started adding the Equi Sweet to cover the taste and it's been perfect , she loves all three flavors and I now have no worries she isn't eating her medication.

Unfortunately, I can't get my mare to touch her grain with the supplement, even when I just put a few drops of the peppermint on top. I'll try for a few more days, but it doesn't look promising

Easy to use
My horse stopped eating his supplements and mixing this into it was a quick and easy fix to get him to eat it. It’s strong but works well.

:heart:ï¸ Equi Sweet Syrups
I love all the flavors of Equi Sweet, my TWH Tia is battling laminitis, it requires her to take daily drugs and Tia was beginning to leave her supplements due to the taste, I bought a pint of all three flavors and mix in 2 tablespoons each serving of meds, she's never left it since then. :+1:

Adds the right touch
Mare refused her new EMS supplement. (it did smell LOL). Since adding the Peppermint she eats all of her necessary medications. I'm so grateful.

Didn't work :(
My mare typically isn't a super picky eater, but since being diagnosed with EPM has been refusing to take her Vitamin E. I was hoping this would help her to eat it, but unfortunately she refuses to touch anything that has this as well, even the supplements that she normally eats fine.
Since she wouldn't eat it, I though I could use it for training my yearling to like "dewormer", but she would rather take a tube of dewormer over this stuff.
On the bright side, one of my dogs likes it, so maybe they just need to change their target market!

I ordered this to get my horse to eat hoof supplements. While waiting for it to come he began eating his supplement so I passed it on to a friend whose horse would not eat his supplements. Her horse loves it. He actually begs her for more and yes he now eats his supplements.

THESE EQUISWEET PRODUCTS WORK VERY well ON PICKY EATING HORSES. We have a stallion that will only eat certain mineral supplements when we use the equisweet products. Our vet suggested this product to us and it works.

Encourages our mares to drink their water.
We have an older broodmare that struggles with dehydration in the hot GA summers. She is very fond of soft peppermints as a treat, so to encourage her to drink, we were adding them to buckets of water for her. I hated to give her that much sugar, but if it's that or end up calling the vet to administer IV fluids, you do what you have to do. Tried this product because it was peppermint flavor sweetened with stevia rather than sugar. Thankfully, she likes it and we now have a great (healthy) option for encouraging her to drink. We have tried it with other horses on the farm and some like it, some don't, but that is to be expected. If your horse doesn't like peppermints, chances are they won't like this. If they do, it is definitely worth a try. There is a low cost small bottle that won't break the bank if your horse turns their nose up at it, and a gallon bottle that is economical for regular use.

My horse loves it!
I bought this to add to my horses feed because of some supplements that she doesn’t like. Putting a little bit of this over the supplements masks whatever flavor she didn’t like and now she eats everything up!

Got this to try to get my mare to eat powdered meds in her grain. She's typically not a picky eater at all, but she just would not budge. Was trying to have a few things to try. Im also boarding so Im not the one feeding all the time, was also looking for something simple to use that wouldn't be a hassle for the barn manager to give. So far so good! Its easy to mix in her food and she eats it all up! I started with the small bottle just incase she didn't like it. Will definitely get the bigger bottle in the future.

My horse loves everything peppermint- except this!
My gelding has been on stall rest for over 3 months and needs a few oral meds as well as his smartpak. With his grain significantly reduced he has been picking through and leaving the meds/vitamins. He is obscessed with peppermint flavored anything so when I saw this I was SO excited! Unfortunately he wouldn't come near his feed bucket when he smelled it, and I stuck some on his lip and he was very offended! Of course I bought the gallon size thinking it was definitely going to work for him. I'd recommend people buy the smaller size before they know if their horse will like it or not. Smartpak shipped it super fast and it's not their fault, but perhaps the manufacturer can come up with little samples or something to let people try it.

Not sure if product or my picky horse
I bought this to encourage my very picky eater with Cushings to eat his meds and supplements. He ate everything the first day and his turned his nose up since then. :( On the other hand my mini loves it :) but she eats everything. Only rated 1 star bc it doesn’t work for the purpose for which I bought it

I don't even have picky eaters and it was a no go
I sometimes travel with my horses and have started using compounded Ranitdanine powder from my vet to help with stomach discomfort on travel days. Although it's flavored by the pharmacy, it's still extremely bitter. I purchased equisweet to help it not be so gross. My horses ate less with the equisweet! I tasted it to see what the problem was and its horrible! It's nearly as bitter as the Ranitadine! I think I will be going back to using Sucaralose syrup from the pharmacy.

Use this in my mares grain to try and mask the smell of her supplements. She is an extremely picky eater, but a tablespoon of this and she gobbles her grain right down. This stuff is a lifesaver!

She still won't eat....
I ordered this for a very picky horse. We have struggled to find any smart pak or other supplement that she will eat consistently and this was recommended to help encourage her to finish her feed. When used as an overall top dressing, she refused to eat any of her grain at all. When used just on the smart paks, she would toss it all out and pick through it. The only way we noticed any difference was if we put a small amount over her smart paks, let it sit for about an hour so it soaked in, then fed it mixed in. Even then, it was hit or miss.

My horse wouldn't eat it
Sadly, my horse wouldn't eat it. Smartpak should go back to the flavored pellets that used to be available for covering up the great day of meds and supplements. I really wanted pellets, but no longer available.
